This is what I do to my hair every 6-8 weeks. I just use water and some oil in my mixture along with aloe powder. I used to only use Henna to cover my greys but after years of doing that I started getting too many greys lol Now I use Indigo on the roots and I love it. I only leave henna on for 2 hours and indigo for an hour. perfect every time.
Im noticing my indigo fading more after my last two treatments. Can indigo be less effective if its older? It could be that my greys are just more resistant as I get more of it.

Excellent job and excellent results. I love Red Raj and I like the way henna colors my grey hair red so I don’t use indigo however if I decide to switch things up I will certainly use these steps. Thank you 😊
ooooh imma to try this!! i have dyed dark brown reddish hair and im wanting to dye it back to dark brown black, but i dont want to chemical dye again... im gonna use this :)
Since I brought this product base on this review, I thought it was right to give my review of this product here. I brought this product two weeks ago, using the discount code( it worked), I was really excited to use it because of this video. I received it a few days after I order it, so delivery was quick. I decided to use it yesterday, I followed all the step, and everything. The henna worked exactly like she said it would work, that made me hopeful that the indigo would do the same. But I was wrong, I put the indigo in my hair and slept with it. I had it in my hair for 7-8hrs before I washed it off. When I washed it off, it was like I had never put it in my hair at all because the parts that were orange stayed orange. I didn't freak out because in the video she does say some people have to do it twice before it really work, so I decided to do it over again, since I had some left over. This time I kept it on for 6-7hrs before I washed it off again. This time the orange hairs were a darker red hue but that's it, it didn't turn black at all, which is what I wanted. Anyway, I'm done buying from this company, I'm going to try to find a better indigo product to see if I can fix this mess.
Hi Fabien! What percentages of greys do you have? Some people need to do a first step of henna and indigo rather then henna alone, to create a darker starting base rather then a henna only base. It sounds like your greys are pretty stubborn and a bit resistant. Have you tried henna and indigo again, even if not from us? Let us know if we can help you in any way. Do note make sure your liquid used, is water only and not boiling. Only warm to mildly hot.
Our thoughts was that in the video the one thing we would have made sure of, is to make sure that only warm to hot water is used, never boiling. Thanks for asking this question :)
Hi HennaSooq, in the video you processed the indigo and warm water mixture for 45 minutes, from what I know you can't leave this mixture to process for more than 5-10 minutes, Please correct me if I am wrong?
@@MyGhilli well I just looked at another video of hers. And apparently you let it sit for 20-30 min til you see the blue green color. And the thicker it is the better the color pay off.
@@tiffanyelainestubbsfarrull2204 You can see the blue-green color immediately (within 2-3 mins) and the more you let this sit the less color you will get in the final step. This is my general knowledge but I am not sure about letting this sit for 20-30 mins.
Hi there I use henna first Then after 24hrs.. I use indigo the 2step.but the indigo would not stick as much and didn't cover the henna..the henna show thr .my hair was not black.. should I add salt..my hair is gray before henna How should I apply for the black hair.. should I do it in one step.. thanks
Great video! But can someone pleeeeeease do a dark chocolate henna/indigo dye. I see the recipe to achieve that everywhere but no pics or video to show that's achievable. I beginning to think red and black are the only options.
I'm so confused I've watched a lot of the videos on this channel and it seems like the instructions contradict. This one says leave the Henna on overnight, another video on the channel says after about 4 hours there's no additional benefit. This one says deep condition right after another video on the channel says specifically don't. There is a video on the channel that says for soft black hair leave the henna on for 1 hour and the indigo for one hour, another says henna for 3-4 hours and the indigo for 1-2. This one says both for 3-4. Is it really just very flexible how you use it?
it's blacker that way, BUT for me going forward, I will be mixing a little indigo into my henna and still doing my indigo after, this will avoid the orangey colour on my greys when it's fading.
I love this video...but I have questions, do henna can color my hair red yes or not.? Is that including greys.? Cause I did it once n my greys looks orange. .. :/ but I wanted all my hair red/penny, I need help..! Tks
You can achieve a deep red but it takes a few applications. You just to consistently do a few applications which you will see more on the greys then rest of your hair (depending of course more so on what your natural hair color is)
Best result and step by step process ive seen on UA-cam. Im curious why doesn’t this dye your skin? On forehead and eyebrows im so confused. If we were to apply it to skin it would stain black
Usually we recommend you line the hair line and ears with our protective Henna Hair and Care Balm to avoid those stains on the skin: hennasooq.com/henna-hair-and-body-care-balm/
I am looking to give this a try, but I am wondering if it stain things once it's washed and dried. I have a white couch and I always worry about that. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Yes it can stain your couch if you are doing your henna hair coloring near it. Or possibly if it's freshly done and your hair is wet. If it's dry you're okay.
@@HennaSooq Thank you for your reply. Last question. You mentioned it could possibly stain if it is wet. How long after initially using henna will that happen usually? My hair gets wet everyday in the shower and I let it air dry. Would you say a few days, a week, longer? Thank you again!
Some people enjoy using green tea. We recommend warm to hot distilled water, green tea or ACV for best mixing liquids for henna in particular. For indigo, use only warm to hot water.
She used cassia as well. We think she wanted to lighten up the henna but we really don't recommend that when coloring your hair black with indigo. Use only henna and indigo for best results. Additives that you can add are amla powder and aloe.

we used to but we're moving locations in Columbia, Maryland. We're looking at places so we can reopen and possibly in Baltimore.
How much aloe powder can we add to prevent dryness?
At least 1 -2 tsp per 100 grams of henna/indigo used. Usually it's about 5% of the whole recipe. I hope this helps.
