Greta video Tia! Love working with you. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Please note that henna hair color is DIY hair care and its okay to make adjustments to use henna and our products to fit to work for your hair type, texture and focus. At the end of the day, we want YOU to have success and have healthy, gorgeous hair. Love you all, xo - Khadija
Sapphire Yes, it’s a trip how it works but I love it. It may take two applications to get it there depending on how light your hair is but I love that it’s an all natural way to do it. ❤️❤️❤️
Yes that is my main concern! The all natural way! My hair is extremely similar to yours..that dark brown..something about jet black hair just draws me in! You’re welcome!! 😊
Nice results. The first time I used Henna I mixed it with Neem and about 3 different oils,as well as green tea. My results was and still is great(manageable, moisturized, growing nicely with less shed hair, and no unusual fall outs). My brown hair turned a reddish color. Since then I've been using a little Indigo get revert the process slowly so I don't get a black color,it's working,I'm almost back to my dusty brown. My hair tends to look black when freshly washed, and the more it needs to wash,it looks like a lighter brown color.
Your curls really did turn out amazing! This is a great video. I really need to try their products! Whenever I do use Henna, I’ll make sure to apply my Aloe Vera Powder to it. Thank you for the tips ♥️
Madisen English Thank you so much for the great feedback & for watching! Yes, that Aloe Vera powder made a HUGE difference. I will definitely be adding it every time. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Tia, I enjoyed this video. I too am a henna sooq girl. Just for clarification, I can mix the henna with the indigo together first, then apply it to my hair. The next day I mix the indigo only then apply it to my hair. I then let it sit for an hour then co wash and condition my hair.
Thank you for sharing; gorgeous curls! Can you please clarify how long to let the indigo sit before applying to hair? In video you said 2 hours, but in comments you said 45 minutes. I believe Hennasooq advises 20 minutes and some vloggers say apply indigo right away. Also, does your indigo concoction start green and after sitting it noticeably changes to blue or blueish? I’m having difficulty getting indigo dye release.
Hi so if you already have the left over mics from the henna mix and the left over from the indigo mix can I re use it and how would I do it please let me know if you can thnk you so much Sharon from Northridge ca
Derra Howard Hi beautiful! I’d be lying to you to say I know for sure. But the perfect person to ask is Henna Sooq on Instagram. She’s always answering questions & educating people. She’s a great source for the best steps.
dni Milan I'm confused Tia, You and Kadijah are giving different instructions. The timing on how long to leave it on she says don't leave it on overnight. She says don't use boiling water and you said to use boiling water or tea? She said that boiling water messes up the dye release as would cold water has a negative effect. She also said don't deep condition after you rinse out the indigo. She said just to co- wash and maybe run a light conditioner through it but don't deep condition. I'll check with her also but that's the kind of stuff that confuses me and possibly other people. Thank you
Thanks Sydni! Appreciate your feedback. Definitely use only warm to hot water/liquids. Some people can deep condition but it may pull the color out. For Tia this works well for her hair without losing color. You can leave the hair coloring treatment on overnight but you don't have to. Usually 3-4 hours would be enough. Some people do that for convenience.
Hi Sydni, thank you so much for watching. I'm so glad that Henna Sooq was able to provide clarity. I did what has always worked for me & my in the past. However, I would trust following Henna Sooq's suggestions as she is well versed with henna and indigo. I personally preferred to deep condition my hair after the indigo because I want to assure that my hair softened and was well hydrated/moisturized after using the indigo. I hope that you found both of our responses very helpful and clarifying. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much. Yes, it's a process... you can go shorter but because of the color pay off that I was hoping to achieve I allowed to to go a little long. ❤️❤️
Sabrina Cambridge Hi Sabrina! Thank you for watching. The henna didn’t affect my curls much. At most it loosens them for about 1-2 weeks. As I wash & deep condition with moisture rich conditioners my curls always tighten back up. Of course, everyone’s hair reacts differently. How long has it been since you did your last application?
Nice video but....no links? Links are the go-to’s for getting the name and product right when searching to buy them. I already have and use Alma powder but had no clue there is an alovera powder. I want to get it but did not quiet catch the name to Google. I also would have never known, HennaSooq is spelled that way. I heard “soup” lol I would have Google HennaSoup” for their product. I use Henna & Indigo but could not find any update info or video for a trusted Henna brand. So thank you for a more relatively current video with product that is 100% Henna (& Indigo) and how to use to keep the hair moist. I have added coconut milk to Henna just before use (not in Henna overnight). It also helps. So if you could add a link or send it directly to me to get the Aloe Vera powder, spelled earlier and being too lazy to fix it, I would truly appreciate it.

Can henna stain the bathroom sink when washing it out?
How do you get your curls back? I did the same henna app, same process and it took all my curls out.
