I really want a chocolate brown to get rid of the grey. Bought henna with amla, shakikai. Would like to use coffee for a deeper/darker color(not black). Can I keep it on over night? How often will I have to do this regimen? Does the henna gloss help with the color? Glosses and tea rinses how many times a week? Please give me the recipe for dyeing so many tutorials. Not sure of the measurements.
Thank you for sharing very helpful video, I I have grey hair and I did two steps, first I apply henna and after I did apply indigo powder but some part turned out green color, can you help me how to fix it please. Thank you 🙏
Does the indigo fade and show the red tone? Also if you already have indigo dyed hair, do you have to keep dying it with henna and after with indigo every time you have to retouch your hair or you can also just use the indigo
after the henna is on the first time you can start to every couple of weeks just use the indigo to refresh the black, but if you have grays or roots that seem stubborn to hold colour just do the two step process on the roots and indigo on the rest of the hair :)
Does this take a few tries to find your mix? I let the henna sit for the recommended cure time then mixed it with 50/50 indigo/henna (after letting the indigo curate). Afterward i applied to my hair and let sit for 4 hours. I went through one full bag of henna and half a bag of indigo. I have shoulder length hair that is super thick with very wiry layers of gray throughout. When I washed it out, my hair was darker and felt lovely but my grays were orange/copper in color. I add aloe Vera powder and hibiscus to my henna after dye release to intensify the red tones and add moisture, and, I also mix my henna with green tea (4 tea bags). Make sure to add salt to your indigo mix, this will aid in its adherence to your hair (hennaed hair). Start your application at the front of you head, and thoroughly coat I also leave the mixtures on my hair for a lot longer than the recommended 3-4 hours. I do 6-8hrs. I start the process the evening before and apply my final step before going to bed. The indigo is usually ready to wash out wash out when I wake up. Also, I don’t cowash, I just rinse thoroughly after each step. Blow drying after rinsing out the indigo also helps (I don’t do this often - limiting use of heat). Be very light handed on the application of leave-in conditioner/oils/butter for at least 24hrs post treatment. It takes about 2-3 days for the true color to intensify. I’ve tried henna/indigo from other companies, and by far, Henna Sooq offers the highest quality I’ve yet to come across. I’ve been using them for 5 years now. After applying the indigo to hair (double process after henna) you leave it on for a few hours, & then once you wash it out do you immediately deep condition or do you let it set?
dont apply any product until a few days after for the best result
No matter what I do, my baby gray hair springs out like weeds from under the thick henna and indigo coating I spread onto my head. I'm so fed up.
I also didn't wait for 20 mins for my indigo to develop before adding to my overnight henna paste. Will that make it fail?
Can i use Cassia instead of Henna?
Not to achieve black tones not brown tones.
I am sitting with here with the second of the two step process for my grey roots. The Red Raj was out of stock so I used the Jamila. It all smells amazing.

so am I doing this to get my hair black or brown because it says black but then it says a brown in the video
Ok so I figured it out. I did the hennah and indigo method w the aloe Vera as well. However my grey hair is now a copper color. Any tips on how to achieve black on the now copper. But the rest of my hair is beautiful I’ll be doing this method from now on.
Save yourself some time and just mix them together for the one step process.
So helpful!!
Thank you love! :)
