7 years later my F10 550 looks as if it just rolled off a showroom floor. Such a kingpin of it’s segment.
Yes it still drives good with 103kmiles..I love it.

@@essentialys6200 I have a 2012 one with 160k miles on it and it’s runs perfectly… manual gearbox 100% engine clutch suspension all great , mines the 184bhp 520d

@@mislavkonjik2827 well mine is 550i and they must be maintained..I dont think any bmw is worth buying that old, but I looked up the maintenance issuesand my bmw had been serviced slot, so I took a chance. Please review service records and fluid changes. Along with tuneups/sparkplug prior to buying.

The best looking 5 series made in my opinion, it looks amazing, especially in luxury and SE trim, for some reason im not the biggest fan of the m sport. It looks better than the current models (not to say they look bad)
It's been 2 months since I bought my used one-owner, 59000km, 2014 M550d, and it looks and drives like new. It hadn't seen any rain or snow during the first 7 years of it's pampered life. I absolutely love this car.
The F10 is the second best looking 5-series. The best looking is the E34, and I also own a 95 540i with 6 speed.

The F10/F11 was the greatest 5 Series ever, closely followed by the E39.

I owned an E39 530i years ago and always missed its sportiness. Fast forward, I'm buying the F10 LCI next week. I can't wait to be driving The Ultimate Driving Machine again.

You want regret it, justmaje sure the service is done on the Rear engine covers and coolant levels and oil are checked and changed regularly.

Way to go Josef Wuest!!! I own one of these and it is a wunder, especially the handling. My one complaint is that the xDrive version is weird in first gear, but I bet they have fixed that.

We would have got one, but we went for a lease car instead. The lease was financially better, which is unfortunate, as this car looks amazing. Not so sure about reliability though.

I like my F10 but it doesn't stand up against my old E39. Some of the tech is OK but there are just too many things about the F10 that really grind my gears. It's a shame because it is a good car overall.

I just love the F10 5 series because it maintains a sportiveness of a sedan segment but it would better to buy the M- sport edition which has more elegance and sportiveness

I drive a 1998 e46 320i as a daily driver and it runs Like new. I love the smooth 6 cilinder 😉.

E39 and F10 were the best 5 series. Obviously the E39 was better but after the E39 the F10 is a complete timeless masterpiece built with accuracy and quality

F10 > G30. The G30 is also an awesome car, but the F10 is nicer! :D
@japanwatchconnection I wouldn’t say vastly. There was a bigger jump for me from the e39 to the e60, and the e60 to the f10.
I have a 2013 528i xDrive, I see the lane assist / departure on my instrument cluster but I don’t have the button under my light control, is it not available for me to use ? I been going crazy looking for the option. Thanks in advanced

I miss the naturalness and neatness of this time. Now it is too exaggerated and not natural, so I don't get attached to it. The old cars are definitely cool

The e39 sold 1.4 million during the eyars it was sold. The F10 sold 1 milllion in jsut 3 years.. At least here they were everywhere.

I like the 5th generation way better. The 6th looks so bland and unoriginal. I swear at night I can't tell the difference between that and a Camry. Such a shame BMW decided to go away with style and originality and replace it with cookie cutter designs. They're letting themselves getting beat to the punch by Mercedes.
