Bisogna essere grati a queste artiste Storiche....A Venezia e Alla Scala, ma anche Salisburgo e Vienna...sono sempre stato rapito dal suo carisma. Sono le vette ...del Belcanto italiano e francese...quanto studio fatica e costanza...per raggiungere questa tecnica ...Superlativa...Canta un italiano molto buono...ho amato molto J. Sutherland che l'Italiano l'ha sempre usato in una maniera poco sicura, che spesso l'ha messa in difficoltà nei recitativi;.....riguardo alla grande collega australiana....la figura più aggraziata la facilita e la tecnica non ha nulla da confrontare...poichè lei porge le sue Variazioni senza apparente tensione e i lunghi fiati e controllo le permettono ...in teatro poi è molto Sicura poichè il pathos l'aiuta....questo era il suo periodo aureo....e la scelta delle arie ...un vero gioiello di mélange...romanticissimo...un cantare da Bionda? ascoltata...dal vivo....spesso....in Mozart e Strauss....sempre eccellente e...anche nelle serate di lieder....una prima della Classe....non conoscevo questa sua tournée...basterebbero le variazioni della pazzia di Lucia per farla passare alla Storia...uno strumento di una bellezza che vale il Concerto...e poichè dimostra quale sia la conoscenza della sua Voce strumento...e la gente l'applaude a scena aperta....chapeau ....nelle arie francesi...è puro cesello e lei si supera poichè si vede che cantare è il suo modo di essere Artista che comunica la civiltà europea...che lei esprime con un'intelligenza rara , poichè ama dare il meglio.,...i suoi cromosomi poi mitteleuropei la aiutano a districarsi anche in altri idiomi...tra i quali il tedesco.

The Bel Raggio was really excellent.....She was in excellent form here. I just don't like how she is going full speed ahead and then slows down -then full speed again....But she really executed the runs quite well and very accurately - this is a KILLER aria. The sliding up to the High E -as is her custom - I don't care for - but the note itself was outstanding. I respect her a lot.
This concert has been published by Nightingale on CD, where her flat es''' during the cadenza of "Caro nome" was edited out. Also another es''' at the end of "Je suis Titania" is no clear pin point landing.
