In this video I share another sound system option powered by RCF for mobile DJs and small event needs.
    About the TT10a:
The TT 10-A II Active 2-Way Monitor from RCF is designed for live sound, portable PA, stage monitoring, and club applications. Built to provide crisp, high-definition sound for a variety of small- to mid-size venues, the TT 10-A II is designed with a 90 x 70° rotatable horn for wide dispersion and is well suited to applications ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to theater performances and broadcast uses.
The speaker features a 10" woofer and a 1" compression driver and is capable of up to 1000W, 2-way RMS performance for a total of 130 dB SPL. In addition to standard XLR input and output connectors, RDNet connectors offer you remote networked control over the system via computer. In addition, thermal and HF protection is also included to prevent damage to the speaker.
    Touring and Theater Performance
The innovative transducer design ensures extreme power handling, making the TT 10-A II able to deliver a lot of sound in a small, portable package.
Onboard DSP provides linear phase filters and crossover, system equalization, polarity control, fast limiter, RMS limiter, and configuration control from the back panel or advanced management via RDNet.
The cabinet features an aluminum top handle designed to facilitate transport positioning and loading operations.
A bottom pole socket allows the speaker to be used as a point source sound system on a stand or subwoofer pole.
The speaker cabinet is made of high-quality Baltic birch plywood with a special adhesive to glue every layer; this makes the cabinet completely water resistant even before the special polyurea paint, applied to make it highly resistant to scratches and bumps.
    About the RCF TT15as:
The black RCF TTS 15-A is a 15" 2200W active subwoofer designed to provide low-frequency reinforcement for A/V system installers, audio engineers, and DJs in outdoor environments or houses of worship, concert venues, and live stage applications. Its Class-D amplifier delivers 2200W of power to the 15" woofer, which produces a frequency response of 40 to 400 Hz and is hyper-vented for heat dissipation.
32-bit DSP processing yields simple adjustment of input gain, delay, and crossover presets. RDNet control via EtherCon I/O allows comprehensive remote parameter control and system monitoring. XLR and powerCON inputs and outputs are employed for straightforward integration with standard PA components.
    Low-Noise Electronics
The switch-mode power supply Class-D amplifier integrates a low-noise, 32-bit DSP circuit, controlled through the RCF RDNet network to handle the clipping limiters, RMS limits, polarity, amplitude, timing, and equalization. All settings, monitoring, and advanced features are available inside the integrated RDNet Networked Management software. The rear-panel encoder adjusts volume, delay, and presets.
    Sturdy Cabinet
The cabinet is made of high-quality birch plywood with weatherproof treatments. The sub is stackable and lightweight for easy setup and tear down. The polyurea coating and rugged structure of the cabinet survive long-term use and transportation while the separate housing for the amplifier guarantees component efficiency and reliability. A pole receptacle on top and side allows the woofer to be deployed in various situations.

This is my dream set. I already have the tops and working on getting the subs. Recently had a gig where I could really open up the tops and they are ridiculous - you just can't limit these things, headroom for days. In fact to limit them I think you'd need a pair of these subs per each top.

Dope video! I won’t lie, I got lost with all the “TT” names being thrown out there 🤣
But, having just been in a situation where we learned via experience a venue can’t do dedicated subs because of bass trapping where they place DJ’s; it’s really important to consider a wider portfolio of sound systems for different spaces as DJs we upgrade our gear over time.

I have exactly this set, but it's a pity that the TTS15a have the same woofers as the sub of the Evox 12, which works and sounds fine, but I would have liked to see a neodyium woofer in it :) I might replace it someday if I can find the same specs otherwise fantastic set, I also have the rcf tt22a mk2 :) then the set sounds even better

Hello, it isnt same woofer like in Evox. This has bigger magnet, but you re right, that should be better for this price :-) It is exactly same, like in SUB 905 AS2 :-)

@@refreshturnov I have the SUB 905 AS-II, but I think the TTS 15-A is still quite a bit different. It's a bit louder on paper and has way higher frequency response, although I don't really understand what is the point of going up to 400 Hz on a sub, still curious about that one. The internal bracing will also be different, even when comparing pictures with grills off on RCF website. TT series also use the most premium materials such as Baltic birch, better water resistance, etc. Lastly I'm sure you can use RDNet to dial it in better.

Howabout 2x tt808 compared with 1x tts15, would the pair of 808’s keep up ok with the single tts15 or do they just not have the beef? The mass of 2x 808’s would still be a bit less than a single tts15 but i would think the pair should be getting close?

    • @DestroyerOfLiberals
      @DestroyerOfLiberals 10 днів тому +1

The 808 subs target particular niche. Like you can throw them in a Mini Cooper or have a party on a yacht or whatever - situations where you can't or don't want to bring full sized subs. Of course there will be certain compromises in sound, it's just physics.

RCF TTW-4A or NXW-44 A... and which sub is better RCF 905 mk3 or TT 15 ( I don't need the red net feature). Are the components of 905 MK3 and TT 15 the same? ( sound quality depth-wise). Thanks in advance.

You are right, components of SUB 905 vs TTS15 are same. TTS has better cabinet with separated amplifier and better shape of bassreflex port, better damping.... But drivers are same :-( TTS has different tuning, it has wider range including higher bass around 80-100Hz. SUB 905 is tuned lower, with less present sound. TTS sounds better.....
