There is a fix for your exposed water pipping, it's called Heat Trace. It is a electric cable that you can wrap your pipes with and it comes on when a temperature reaches a certain cold temperature, then shuts off then it gets warmer, it's automatic. They come with red lights that let you know that it is on. Don't remember what lengths they come in but you can daisy chain them together. We used this at work on our exposed water systems and never had a problem with frozen pipes. Just check it the first of every season to make sure they are on ( that's what the red lights are for). Love the Vet and your channel.
Exactly. I'm from Ohio & we get temps in the negatives, as we have this week. Everyone around here knows about heat tape, as we call it. Saves alot of heartache & money in the long run. Hope they see your suggestions.
Put a heater in the water tank enclosure when it's done. Just in case it gets really cold. I'd think in Tennessee where you live it's not common to have bitter cold weather, but you have to be prepared for the worst weather.

There stuff called heat tape. It's for water lines that are out of the ground. I used them alot when I maintained a trailer park. You can wrap all that stuff out there an just plug it in like a cord!!!
Hey boys. you must get the water tanks insulated, and get a circulation system in place, which circulates the water, when there is no consumption inside the house during the winter. Another option could be to install automatic heating cables in the water tanks and in the water pipes into the house. Or as we do in Norway. digs down the water pipes, down to a frost-free depth. where applicable.
Yes, good idea. Insulate it, add a 120 plug onto the inside of your little shed built around the gear, Plug a 120 V thermostat plug into the outlet, and plug a work light into that outlet. The work light acts as a heat source that will keep your gear above freezing but not kill you on your electric bill. PS make sure to use an incandescent bulb not an LED because an incandescent bulb creates heat while an LED stays cool.
I've got external water pipes on the side of my house that used to freeze. I planted shrubs (diosmas) along there, that now are tall enough to cover the pipes. That stopped them freezing - although I might not be getting temperatures as low as you guys.
May i suggest that when you do build in the water tank area, it should look exactly like your house. Don't just enclose it, think astetics. No windows, just a large door below to allow movement of equipment in and out. good luck.

Love that blue looks so good❤
That blue is amazing! I wanted to do a similar blue on my car but am going a different route. We started a channel and are going to do a pro paint job for under 200 so I have to use off the shelf rustoleum type paint. Going to look great though. Going with New Holland blue. So a similar blue, but not totally.
I'm so glad y'all are making these c8 videos. We own a C8 stingray and are clueless about the internal components.
So are they
The Raptor R is pretty sweet. I enjoy the varied content. Stay warm!
Hey! I agree. I like the varied content. We just started a channel and I'd love your thoughts. So far we have a dodge truck transformation. A Porsche 911, and a bed liner over an entire truck coming up, as well as a 1930 model A, a bunch more but let us know what you think and I can fill you in more about upcoming projects. Just would love to know what is enjoyable for other people to watch, not just for us.
Been watching y’all a long time now, goonzsquad is not only about rebuilding cars, it’s about being able to do anything , as long as you put in the effort 💯 love u guys
That exhaust looks nasty as hell can’t wait to hear it and hope yall build an enclosure for the well house so that problem never happens again.
There is heater wire to wrap that keep outdoor pipes thawed from ice ! Lowe's

You are clearly not used to winter... greetings from Norway!
Keep up the good work guys.
Put a temp Roof on it and walls, and put a good heating source inside. It needs to be kept above freesing if not it will freeze up again asap within hours. But get a insulated tarp and put up a good heat source. And the burner is dangerous it might catch fire.
You're gonna fall in LOVE with the chop of the cam watch 🎉
Where I live it has been around -20 to -30 Celsius (-4 to -22 fahrenheit) recently and around 1,5 meter snow (5 feet)
