This is the second video I have seen today with Jason Neal as the engine builder. He’s on my builder plate and I’m at 9800 miles so far with no problems.
That sounds amazing, have you had any cel ,and did it make any horse power with the kooks headers, and was there any extra heat in the engine bay with the headers?

What does this car and my 79 Ford have in common? They both blow blue smoke on start up! Jokes aside, the car looks and sounds awesome. I think GM nailed it with this car and engine.
Have you guys ran into any problems with the valves melting. I’ve heard that when installing an aftermarket exhaust on these cars, the valve melt and throw a check engine light, also I really want to throw headers and catless on my zo6 but idk how reliable these cars are because they’re so new
Tastefully done. It sounds and looks killer! It would be rad to see you race the C6Z vs C8Z*** Curious to see how well the C8Z would do against a HCI C6Z
@@vanjabi8827 my c6z is much faster up top. It makes 670rwhp. Runs 60-130 in 5.8. These cars stock are in the bottom 7’s. But I could do that in the spring.
@@McIntosh1006 I did Dyno before. We need to have the suspension module reprogrammed by the dealership before we can dyno it now. It lost communication and has an 83mph limiter. Next video we will finish that!

@@LSxDrew yessir. I got 35# less minus adding any cats. Just cat back to catback. Still cool! It sounds great. I think (and maybe I’m wrong) it would be more tasteful with high flow cats. But it sounds pretty good. I don’t know if it can be beat lol
Good lord that sounds phenomenal! Every bit as amazing as the best sounding exotic cars I've ever heard. I wonder how much of it comes from some sort of acoustic magic that is happening in the Ti exhaust, and how much would be there if you just did a short, X-pipe style (no muffler) exhaust like a lot of people make for various rear and mid-engine cars....
@@tptrsn the titanium and x setup has to be helpful in the sound! It is awesome! The best part is the valves work and it gets quiet when you want it as well!
Sounds almost like a V12. Sounds awesome but scared to do that to my 24' Z06. I just ordered Soul hi flow cats so those will go on mine shortly. Too scared to go that loud!!!
@@jayd1008 headers on this car is a very small mod. The factory headers are a tri y. The headers and exhaust actually barely make a difference. The intake makes more of a difference than the whole exhaust system combined.
@@WORKHARD956 the next video we will show the differences in power with catless. High flows and stock. The sound right now is currently just with test pipes.
@@RobertSmith-bg9zc we have to have the dealership reprogram the suspension module. It is acting up and giving us an 83mph limiter. But it’s up a good bit down in the lower rpm’s already. I’ll post the results when we get that resolved!
@@dannykirby7023 we don’t know yet. Something in the suspension control module is pissed. So working with my dealership to read/remedy the codes this coming week. I’ll update that in the next video! (It is 83mph speed limited right now)
@ we ran it before when it was stock. We have a loss of communication from the suspension module. We can see/correct it with our snap on scanner so I’m not sure the fix yet. My friend from the dealership is coming to check it out next week. I haven’t seen or know anyone with this problem. May be a 2025 thing. Not sure yet. I think I’m in the clear but I may have possibly stretched a wire on install. It was pretty simple and straight forward so I keep doubting that but I’ve made plenty of mistakes before.
@NorthernPerformanceCars it will probably end up being something easy that you would have never thought of lol well car is amazing and sounds bad ass. When you get it fixed we need some fly by videos
@@Goat-vy2bi absolutely. They have it figured out. I was going to build my own exhaust. But by the time I bought materials and did it. The Black Friday deal on them made sense.

@@nrdemon1031 brake switch (unrelated) but no. Not codes yet. Guys report 500-800 miles they come and go catless. But I will be adding cats.
@ I did same exhaust with high flow pipes and codes came within 50 miles.

@@jayd1008 these cars are not tunable yet. They are factory closed loop so they correct fueling for small mods like this.
