I've been away from your channel for about 2 years but I am glad that I came back to see the C8 rebuild. Yes, those round and blued exhaust tips look so good! GM should have gone with that excellent look too.
I used to work at a Chevy dealership as a service advisor. And when we were doing the C8 Corvette brake flushes, I vaguely remember my technicians saying it needed to be done with a computer. You guys might want to look into that.

Control module should be out with the seat belts.
Cars have a sensor that hooks up to front bumper and they probably didn’t have it in place since they were still gonna paint it.

You need to bleed the ABS system with a scanner that's why it seems like it still has air in it

I don’t think a lot of people on here have driven rear engine mounted cars before . Yeh they look sick but man they feel horrible to hang sideways compared to a normal front mounted engine car .

The front is that light that it doesn’t want to grip & steer .

That black Raptor is one of the coolest factory build pickups I've ever seen. Of course, you can mod things on it in an attempt to make it "cooler", but you sure don't need to. Boys, your last several builds, all I can say is..."DANG SON"!!!!

its always the lil bros! I gave my brother 3 cars and he managed to crash all three of them! And that was the last straw for me. Simons face was absolutely priceless. Hey, it could've been way worse on the streets!
GM instructions state the battery must be disconnected while bleeding the brakes and use a pressure type bleeding device and DO NOT use a vacuum bleeder.
To clear the brake codes, push the start button without stepping on the brake petal to power up the car. Do not start the engine. Then press firmly down on the brake pedal for 20-30 seconds. You will hear clicking noise during this process. When the clicking stops you can start the car and the brakes will be reset , the codes cleared and warning lights gone.

There is something special with bleeding procedure in C8. TJ Hunt has some problems with it after replacing brake calipers in front. Breaks were weak after

I've done the exact same thing at your age. My pops warned me before I did it, just like yours did. The only difference is you kids are really good at body work will probably just replace it with something better, and I was not in the position. Keep it up.

ABS modules with air in their accumulators will bite you in the butt. Pedal will be mostly OK and then ABS activates and the air in accumulators gets into lines and pedal goes away.
Yupp need an OBD tool to bleed everything
not if you hook a pressurized pump system to your resrvoir and just bleed all lines. no need to even touch the pedal until its done. @@MauriceNL1

If these boys have that engine re-cammed, I hope they realize it will come with no Warranty or guarantee . won't matter though, because they will blow it up the first week they have it.

lol. Like after the last video showed that the local Chevy garage was unable to program a key, the garage manager at the Chevy garage decided he had to defend the reputation of the garage. Glad they figured out how to fix the keys!
It was a Techline Connect video. Once we finally got the Z06 to program we knew the C8 program would go through 👍🏻
