Fair play..... I have an old 4 gang switch with only 3 holes per gang...... and the new switch has 4 holes per gang. From this I think I should be able to wire it up with comparable wiring. I already know the destination of the lights. My lights have com 1 way 2 way and loop on each gang instead of 1 2 and L..... Hmm I am guessing L can be loop. Then I can 1 way everything and 2 way connections if required.

Yes it does! If you put the wire in wrong, you will find that your switch position will be inverted! So just switching the wires around will solve your problem
Thank you sir. Your video was the difference between me replacing the switch back and calling an electrician vs doing it myself. Was changing from 1 to 2 way so I couldn’t just duplicate the labels. 🫡
