My favourite tent!
A good look through the Fjallraven Abisko Lite 1 tent in the colour Sand. The perfect lightweight 4 season backpacking tent which will stand the UK’s mountain weather. It’s tough, robust and the craftsmanship is beautiful. A proper sexy tent!
Any questions please comment and I’ll get back to you.

Finally !!! 😃 I have managed to get my hands on a s hand Abisko 1.
I have messaged you before about it but wanted to thank you for your advice and great review of this tent.
I set it up in the garden yesterday like you explained and it looked mint 👌👌
Thanks you
Graham 👏👍😃
Awesome mate! I honestly think it will be the best all round one person tent out there. Enjoy using it pal.
I've spent many hours watching tunnel tent videos on here and this one looks to tick the most boxes for me. Thanks for the in depth review and useful tips. Patiently waiting for it to come back in stock.
Had this tent on my radar for a while, you’ve just convinced me to buy it. Great review, much appreciated.
Brilliant you won’t be disappointed and I’m sure you’ve read all the stats. Buy a footprint at the same time. I think trekkit do a discount if you buy the tent.
Let me know how you get on with it!
Bushman
@@BUSHMANandBLUE just bought myself one thanks to you in green, came with footprint, tent itself, spare pole to double pole and mesh inner £500 cheers 😀
What’s your experience after two years with it?
Absolutely fantastic review! I’ve been considering getting this tent for upcoming solo adventures in the lakes, and I have to say I’m sold now. So glad the UA-cam algorithm pushed you my way 💯
You won’t be disappointed! I don’t see you’d even need to upgrade from this tent especially with the conditions we get in the uk.
I’m glad I helped your choice!
Tent wasn't blown away by lake winds?
Brilliant review and thanks to Blue for the ace modelling 😍 I’ve never watched a review of this tent before and WOW it’s got so many great features which you explained so well 😃 Absolutely love the stuff you’re making and that moon gate *swoon* ATB Karen
Awwwww thank you. I actually think blue could model. He’s so beautiful (a little biased). The moon gate, wall and bench etc I built with two weeks off work using up some old stone I had. What a difference 2 weeks makes though! It’s the most relaxing space especially with the fire lit and a cold beer in hand.
Great review, thanks. I have had various tents sat in shopping carts for the last few weeks and your review helped me pull the trigger. Just ordered Lite 1 in sand. 👍🍻
Brilliant! You won’t be disappointed. I’ll see you in the mountains!
Excellent review!! Love your humor and great information! Thanks from USA!
Thanks my friend! I hope you enjoy the rest of my videos. ☺️
I bought the Abisko Lite 2 instead of the 1 more room and some really great features, very versatile and pitches really fast. Great tent
Thank you to you and Blue for making such amazing videos. When you're feeling low and down, your videos help me.
Well mate keep moving in life and it’s okay to have those flat days. I have them where you feel very unproductive but they pass.
Brilliant tent, had mine out for 3 nights wildcamping in Glencoe last September . Lightweight , easy pitch , bombproof, like yourself I make sure i pull and tie the guylines when packing away, it makes pitching so much easier.
Yes I think worth the money if you use it enough. You made a good choice buying one 👍
Glad you made it onto my UA-cam algorithm too - subscribed now and looking forward to dipping into the back catalogue 👍
Welcome mate and enjoy all my videos! I’ve tried to keep a high standard 😉.
They really have thought of everything.. this shows why its expensive and i gues it really can take on rain and wind like a beast aswell. Thanks for the review man, going to buy this tent for my setup after watching this.
You won’t be disappointed. It’s pretty awesome and a good weight to carry too!
Looks a great little tent can't believe how small & light it packs up, I love the fire pit area with that amazing view.
Yes my fire pit is a place I’ve had many nights with friends and a beer. It’s always lovely being outside!
It's good to see more details about this tent! Thank you for the video! It was really difficult to choose between this tent and the Akto, and even though I bought an Akto, I always had this tent in my mind. I thought that it's cheaper than the Akto, it's lighter and has more features and seemed to be better...until now. After seeing this video im happy that I've choosen the Akto. Here's why:
The weight that you tell us :1380g is the minimum weight. In fact it weights 1.9kg - 200g more than the Akto. So it's heavier and smaller. The foot and head end is narrower than on the Akto, and also the vestibule is smaller. The Abisko lite one is only taller.
Also I thought that the possibility of adjusting the vents (foot and head end) from inside is something that I really miss on the Akto... But no. The Abisko lite one needs this because the angles are not as steep as on the Akto, and the hood over the vents are also smaller so when it's raining in windy weather, the wents don't seem to be as protected as on the Akto. Being able to adjust it from inside is needed. On the Akto it's more protected so it's not really needed. The sleeping length is the same (inner tent) 220 cm. (not 240cm, that's the whole tent)
Anyways, there's no better or worse between these 2 tents...there are just compromises. Both are amazing tents!
Thank you for the video! I've been waiting for one like this for a long time!
Well I’m glad you love your tent. That’s how it should be. I’ll never be a gear snob I just will give my opinion from my experience. I love my Hilleberg too but that’s for a different course. Horses for courses and all that!
No one has said anything about FJALLRAVEN "customer service" which I understand leaves much to be desired on numerous other FJALLRAVEN products videos/reviews.
Recently bought an Abisko off the back of this review, thanks for the help 👍🏻 Si
Awesome mate! You’ll love it!
Great stargate, pal! And nice tent, too. :)
Great review and demonstration
Great review. I've got them same tent in the colour, great minds think alike ha
Thank you. Yes I love that colour although the green and UN blue are also ace!
I'm sold on it now, I was on the waiting list for the Tarptent Scarp 1 until I saw this, and when searching for for the Scarp, it always brought the Abisko one up...they do look similar.. great review fella!🙋♂️👌👊
Thanks mate! There are several tents with the same design all probably pretty good but you won’t be disappointed with this one! I love mine. Enjoy😬
The more I see of this tent the more I think this will be my next purchase on the tent front, love the design and to know you've really tested it almost to destruction makes it an even better choice 👌
Borrow mine first to see if it suits 👍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE nice one, will do mate 👏👏
Cracking review and now my son wants this tent! Cheers for that! 😆 You’re not to far from us (we’re near Knaresborough), so we’ll maybe see you out and about sometime! Keep up the cracking work... one of the best UA-cam wild camping channels out there. 👍
😂 well that tent would do him for life if he looked after it! Definitely say hi if you see me. You’re more likely to recognise the dog!
‘One of the best UA-cam channels’ 🙏 ☺️☺️☺️👌
OK, just ordered one, thanks Al.
Absolutely wonderful tent! I bought one myself and used it last summer while hiking in the Abisko national park, northern Sweden. Worked perfectly in hard wind and heavy rain!
Yes I love it! A great all rounder and suits my camping life perfectly.
Your videos are great. I am sharing with friends and "liking" them all.
Excellent Jon! Thank you. 👍
Gonna buy this ,it has everything I want in a tent .Thanks man
As an all rounder it’s hard to beat👍
Nice 1 mate good tent .... that view and space your lucky top spot to chill
Atb 👍🏽
Yes I am lucky having it but I did put the work in and build it all myself.
Very good review! I already have an Abisko Shape 2. I see that all the favorite Fjallraven features are also kept in the Abisko Lite 1. Great contender for my next 1p tent. Imo lot of the Hillebergs are massively overrated and the prices are baffling for not-so smart features...
Thanks mate. They have some lovely tents and I’d like to try more!
If Carlsberg did tent reviews!
If I didn't want this tent I would have still bought it because of this review.
my one should be here in a couple of days and I can't wait to try it out.
😂😂😂Thanks! It’s a great tent you’ll love it!
Excellent review! Just subscribed yesterday and already see lots of good content that you have uploaded! Ps interesting Stargate structure leading towards the container conversion 😉
Welcome and enjoy! I enjoyed building the stargate 😬
Great in depth review, looks like a cracking tent.
It’s my main tent for definite. It’s sold out in the uk though now.
Brilliant review. Thanks.
Oh good! Thanks.
Got a old fjällräven abisko lightweight 3, had it for years and absolutely love it. But ive realized running around with a 3P tent alone is alot so this year im gonna buy this one.
It’s pretty solid especially after testing it in the storms. 👊
Great review just taken stock of mine 👍
Ace! It’s a great all round tent.
Great review mate, thanks 👍🏻
Yeah I seem to have sold quite a few for Fjallraven! I need my cut!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE 😂 check if they have an affiliate program!
Very tempting. Can I sneak it past Vic seeing as I’ve just bought an Osprey Talon 44! 🤔😉
Great review thanks. It helped me decide to go for it. I had a pang of anxiety as I like using Neoair Xlite max as I've broad shoulders but good to see your using a square mat with no issues
Great tent choice mate. Enjoy it👍👍👍
I love this tent and have been trying my up most to resist buying it for over a year now because as I have too many tents as it is, including a fjallraven abisko endurance 2 in the arsenal so I know they are quality. As I like to tell my other half, does Andy Murray only have one tennis racket!. I knew watching this review would be dangerous, being such a great review it was more dangerous than I thought. I am just glad our sofa is comfortable as I am going to be sleeping on it (again) soon as I'm going to buy one for sure. I will of course blame you and this video as my Mrs banishes me to the sofa as punishment.
😂😂😂 I’ll talk to your Mrs if you want and explain the N+1 rule for boys toys like tents and bikes and knives! Sod the sofa... get out in your new tent! 😂😂😂 I’ll take the blame though no problem. 👍
Great review 👏👏👏 as I put the akto back on the shelf 👍👍
Both great tents but I definitely live my Abisko!
Pauly messner put me onto your reviews,I'm emersed again in the great outdoors ( 1 good thing came from c19) thanks, keep up the good work 👌
Oh good! I personally enjoyed lockdown having more time to get outside and explore but I know many suffered. Thanks Kev!
Well pal you can add me to the ‘watched your review and bought one’ group.
First watched the review a good six months ago and as previously mentioned by others it’s been out of stock everywhere but changed upon one in stock on Trekkit so snagged it. And was even in the sexy sand colour too!!!
Loving the videos!!
Awesome mate you won’t be disappointed. I’ve sold Fjallraven hundreds now😂😂😂. They haven’t even acknowledged me even after tagging them.
Fantastic review
Would consider this tent if I was to spend a lot
You have some good video content and I will get through some in the dark nights in the tent
I’ve quite a few tents but this is my go to tent as it ticks most of my boxes. I think the holy grail tent is have to design myself 👌… one day😉
@@BUSHMANandBLUE I am watching your video in 45 - 50 winds on Scald hill just below the Cheviot
Don’t know how I will pack up as 65 forecast for 6 am
30 at 4 am early alarm ?
Using a cheap Vango mirage and it’s rock solid purchased the other week after the wind bent my MSR Hubba Hubba pole
which is obviously a tree line tent
Cheers
Well enjoy your extra wild camp😂. It definitely can be a challenge. You love it as I do!😉
Always see people saying buy a small 2 man so enough space for bag and cooking. But this tent looks like a good size porch for that. Good review!
It’s just enough for me and the dog. It’s taken some epic weather too in a few of my videos 👌
Great review mate :)
Thanks. Reviews are hard to do. I well prefer filming my adventures!
Great review buddy 👍
Thanks. Hopefully it helps you choose a new tent. I love tents!
Have one on the way, possibly the only one available, even Fjallraven are out of stock of them, great review, thanks
Very lucky! I think I’ve contributed a lot to their tents selling out. You’ll definitely be impressed by it especially the pack size and weight. 👊
Forget the tent, beautiful dog!!!!!
He definitely is! He’s an integral part of all my videos.
I been wanting this tent for years
It’s worth it! If you use it enough!
Great review. 👍🏼
Thank you. I’ll always be honest and give people the info they need.
Cool tent design
Cheers
Thanks. One day I’ll design my own perfect tent!
Hay Al I've just got myself the MSR Elixir 2 V2, needs a couple of modifications like guy lines in a better position, I mentioned it to you in the other vid you did on Scafell 😉👍 so heading for Snowdon this week, wild camping on the tops .... I like the Fjallraven tent your using , but I do like my space and comes in handy for me if I'm bring a female friend 😉👍
2 ‘person’ tents are great for the space but sometimes harder to find a pitch site. I love being in my Abisko view 2 as it feels massive.
Enjoy snowdon!!!
Beautiful garden that mate! My mate is from Silsden and the area looks familiar
Silsden isn’t that far really. Similar landscape.
Good review mate 👍🏼
Looks like the Akto has some competition!
ATB,
Allan🏴
Thanks. It is honestly an awesome tent that suits my needs (with Blue) perfectly. I’ll be taking it to Scotland in summer hopefully!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE nice one, maybe I'll bump into you on the hills lol!
Cracking review. I love my abisko 1, so many clever details and light enough for different camps out. Was surprised how strong it is too....must be down to the innovative condom technology? 😂 Top pad too, looks a proper chill out space with great views. Atb
😂 Condom technology is definitely a thing! Thanks for your comment. Reviews are actually hard to do. I love my bit of land and I constantly design and build new parts to it. It really is a lovely space.
Blue just thinks you are going on a trip. Sticking right with you. 😀
Thorough review of a very solid-looking tent. I love this style snd did not know Fraven made them. Cheers. Is Blue an Aussie Shepherd?
I do live this tent and rate it highly. Tents suit different people but this one really suits what I want. Blue is always ready to lead the way for all my adventures. He’s actually a border collie sheep dog! It’s the ‘Merle’ gene that gives him that colour.
Take care
Al
So stuck between this and a Scarp! But leaning on this. Have sure enjoyed your adventures with it. Thank you !
Watch my storm Arwen video in it. It held up really well considering. Tough tent👊
@@BUSHMANandBLUE it sure did! That’s one our favorite vids from anyone of all time!
Nice video mate. Do you have a video on that shipping container build it looks awesome.
I have one showing most of it where I install an Ecoflow power kit👌
Nice tent bru! I got sumthin similar a telemark 2 deffo awesome tent design nice colour too!
One day I might buy the telemark 2.2 to get the mrs out with me. It’s a great tent! Get out and use it. 👍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE yeah it’s not bad only used it 6 times nov/dec/jan was pretty mild tho I’m in cornwall so not really a cold test plenty of room tho light af too..
Good vid mate!
Thank you. More to come!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE Just got this tent myself hopefully get it out in Scottish winter soon
Yes get out there. It’s still winter sleeping bag weather!
Fantastic review. Been really wanting to order the Scarp 1, but after seeing you use it in some harsh conditions, and some of the lovely features it has I think I'll go for this instead, however it's out of stock everywhere.
Yes it’s a decent tent that obviously I’ve tested well👍.
Been looking for a new tent . Been considering the akto and scarp 1 but after seeing this I'm going for the abisko 1 lite much better design and cheaper too thanks.
Brilliant! I seem to be making many sales for Fjallraven 😂 lucky them!
You’ll love the tent though!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE just purchased the blue . Also blue is lovely (your dog 🐕💙) I have 4 springer spaniels it's manic
Brilliant review. Could THIS be the all-in-one tent that is light enough for long distance walking AND strong enough for wild camping in the mountains above the tree line...even in winter?
I think it’s up there near the top! It’s my perfect solo tent as it’s lightweight and 4 season! I’ve not tested in heavy snow yet but this next winter I will for definite. Thanks dude!!!
Finally time to replace my old Vango Spectre 200 I think, this looks good. Slightly cheaper than the Akto too.
It’s a solid tent👌
Hi Al, thoroughly enjoying your channel! Living vicariously through your videos right now until work allows me time in the hills again. Quick question, did you ever end up seam sealing the abisko 1 before arwen turned it into a sail? I'm debating whether to seal mine! Cheers 👍
I just answered on your other message👍👍👍👍
Some good features. Especially added dog!! :D
What is repacking like?
It’s an awesome tent and my winter go to tent. It has a stiff sack so literally stuff it in. I just tie up the guys firsts to reduce any tangle.
Cracking video as usual 👍🏻 I’ve just ordered that tent. Did you seam seal the stitching on it?
I never have and it’s never really failed. Just one completely wet night it dripped in at one point.
very good fella .
Thanks. I’ll only promote kit that I truly believe in.
Thanks for the review. Sorry if I missed it - how tall are you?
6ft it would suit a few inches taller than that too.
Brilliant design! Blows the Akto away this one.
It is pretty awesome and in my next video it gets tested well!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE will check the next vid out! 👍
Great look and love the colour. Nearly got the abisko but opted for the tarp tent Scarp 1 instead. Do you find it flappy in wind?
All tents flap a bit I guess so if it was an issue... earplugs and a woolly hat covering your ears! Stops all tents flapping 😂
@@BUSHMANandBLUE cheers b b
Hi.
13:51 Are there airvent cover mosquito netting? If so can you unzip that one aswell and stick a Telephoto camera lens out through the opening?
Great in depth review! Love it!
Love your content! Great that you really test the gear. What is your: have got a 25,6 inch (65 cm) and 3,5 in highExped Synmat. Would it also fit? Would hate to buy a new mat. Already have the Abisko Dome 2 for paddling, but am looking at something smaller for hiking.
If it has the tapered end then definitely. My xtherm fits but one corner is tight
Well Al, I apreciate you taking time and reviewing this stunning tent amongst lots of fantastic camping gear and for that a big, Thank You.
I have ordered one just now and realised that my Therm-a-Rest pad wouldn't fit, like yours the width is 25 inch😤
Regards,
Florin
Thoughts?
Your mat should fit. I use an XL one that is square ended and only the corner just touched bits it’s completely fine. Great tent😉
@@BUSHMANandBLUE cheers Al, you saying this is the confirmation I needed.
All the best to you and Bluey.
Hello! Nice review. How long is the main pole of this tent? I wonder if I could replace it with the 10 mm black one from Hilleberg. Thank you very much in advance.
I’m not sure but you can double pole it👌
Nice insight, did you bother to seal the seams after?
Thanks. I’ve left them thus far and will do until I have an issue. For a couple of nights out at a time I can’t ever think I’ll have a problem.
Morning Al, on your recommendation I've finally bit the bullet and got me sen an abisko lite 1, do you have any tips on getting the side panels of the tent taught when pitching and any other tips you might have, ta Stu.
Good choice. Like all tents they are designed to be pitched perfectly flat. Any undulating ground will cause a bit of slack somewhere. It’s making the best of the pitch you have. Also with tunnel tents when pitching pin one end then pull the other end out and make it as square as possible before pinning the rest out. Enjoy it!
10/10 review. Best one I've seen
But I have one question, does this tent fit a 25 inch sleeping pad?
Yes I use mine which is square. Ideally the tapered one would be better.
i have the forest green abisko tent but i was tempted by the UN blue. it would match my UN blue trekking jacket.
I love all Fjallraven gear! I’ve about 8 jackets and I’ve just received today the Abisko view 2 tent which gets tested on Thursday and Friday in the lakes! I’m well excited. The forest green looks awesome though!
Hi Al. I have just purchased an abisko lite1 and I have a question : on mine at the at the bottom of the main zip of the fly just below the female velcro tab there is a round hole about 5mm across ? I was wondering if this is a manufacturing fault or a possible drain hole where the material is doubled up? When you have a moment could you check to see if yours is the same please. Its not a big problem and what affect the durability at all but when you spend big bucks on a tent I think you have the right to be a bit fussy about the detail 😄 many thanks Alan.
I can’t say I’ve noticed. Great tent though👍
Lovely tent. I have the robens starlight 2 that is a similar design but this looks lighter.
Looks bigger as well.
And a bit more expensive I think but I think it’s worth it. It suits me well but everyone has different wants and needs for a tent.
@@BUSHMANandBLUE Yes it's finding what suits one's needs. Once found then adventure is the focal point.
Definitely! I’m looking forward to some more mountainous adventures next week!
Great review! Can’t decide between the 1 and the 2, what would you advice ?
Very individual! The 1 works well for me with the dog etc but I really do want the 2 for a bit more space. Obviously the 1 is lighter and smaller pack size. At least you know both are of great quality and will take the weather (seam seal first). Ideally you’d go check them out in a shop first.
@@BUSHMANandBLUE yeah I really like the 1 but will probably go for the 2 for the extra space.
Hi Mate, Could you let me know what Mattress and chair you use Please, I'm doing touring buy Landy and making a shelf system so need to sleep outside. Cheers keep it up..
I’ve mentioned them on other videos but it’s the Thermarest Neoair. Mine is the larger one being 25” wide rather than the 20”. The Thermarest Trekker chair fits that mat and is well comfy to chill in with a beer.
I had a Landy (obviously defender) for 12 years and had a roof tent which was awesome. Now it’s on my discovery but I miss my defender!!!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE Thank you very much for your prompt Reply and yes I am working my way through your Vids, Keep it up mate.
Beautiful Dog, I had A Canadian White Shepherd, Great Company..
I bet they’re a good all round dog I like the look of them.
Enjoy!
Fantastic in depth review. So much so that I'm now the proud owner of an Abisko Lite 1 😁 one question, did you have to use any seam sealant on it before use?
Living in Scotland will test the seams for leaks in the wetter months. Appreciated for any reply.
Oh great! I need Fjallraven to give me commission as I’ve made them a hell of a lot of money😂! You’ll love the tent. I haven’t seem sealed yet but will if I get an issue. I’ve had it in rain a few times but not a storm! I’ll be out in the next storm to test it 😍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE Doing a grand job selling their brand 😂 thanks for the reply. Hope you and Blue enjoy the next trip. Cheers
Out tomorrow night in the lakes 😬😬😬
Hey @bushman and blue, did you ever end up needing to seam seal your abisko lite 1?
I didn’t but in my ‘wettest camp ever’ video it definitely leaked at a couple of points so it definitely needs doing if you are going out in very wet weather. I’ll do it when I get chance.
I think you’ve convinced me to choose the abisko 1 over the Akto…are you the Borrowdale Banksy, with that arch sculpture🤔😉
😂 that’s not me! The abisko can definitely take a storm. It impresses me every time.
Cheers Bud, great review just hope it would last longer than a condom? This is the only tent review I've seen under gun fire, only in Yorkshire?
Correction, you can open vents from the inside of the Hilleberge Akto. I love all the features in this tent.
😂 yes there is always gunfire 😂. Thanks buddy
Nice start whit push ups for a tent rewiew
Why not hey 🤷🏻♂️😂.
I'm going to buy an upgrade of my current tent which is the vango banshee 200, I've got my eyes on either this 1 or the Abisko lite 2 and now I'm torn between which of these Fjallraven tents to get! Both look awesome but what might clinch it is the weight of this Abisko lite 1
For 1 person the Lite 1 is a brilliant all round tent. The 2 just gives you more space 👍
Hello from Sweden, love your videos sir!
What is your opinion on abisko lite 2 and abisko view. Im also out on camping trips with my doggo. Bot so unsure wich one to purchase. What do you see your self grabbing more lite 2 or view?
I’d say the Lite 2. Plenty of space, I’ve tested it in some horrible conditions and it’s lighter weight with a smaller pack size👍👍👍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE Thank you very much for your answer mister!
Do you use the xtherm regular wide with this tent? Wanto get the new x-therm nxt out in end of February but fancy the Wide 25 inch version...like the space it gives.
I do believe the new version sometime end of February is having its r value raised to 7.3 from 6.9 and adding half inch of thickness and being less noisy now which is the big sell point
I use the wide and it just fits in. The tapered one will fit slightly better but I prefer the square ended.
3 4 5 finished 🏋️♂️ 😋
😂😂😂
Hi buddy me again lol.
Can I ask what's the thing u u use on ur sleeping mat the orange thing that makes the back park go up
The Thermarest Trekker chair. I’ve shown it in a couple videos
is 20d fly is adequate for harsh weather that uk can throw in th mountains, in your opinion?
Watch my storm Arwen video! The material incredibly survives unscathed.
Hi Al, brilliant review of this tent. I've recently acquired one myself. Did you seam seal the tent before using? I understand you've answered this question on a previous comment but I can't find it.
Thanks.
I’ve never seam sealed it as it’s been fine for years but do need to now. 👍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE 👍 Thanks.
What mattress and sleeping bag do you recommend?
I have a few for different conditions. RAB down sleeping bags are awesome and Thermarest mats.
Do I really need another tent, probably not but going to buy it anyway, this is an addiction. 😃
It’s a brilliant tent for me. I didn’t seam seal but after my last video I need to. Enjoy!
Thanks mate.
I just got this tent because of your videos so thank you - did you seam seal it? I've seam sealed most of it then realised it doesn't say to seam seal it anywhere in the instructions haha!
I haven’t seam sealed mine but it does need it I think. It only has leaked once with me in extreme rain. As an all round tent it would be hard to beat. You’ll love it👌👍👍👍
@@BUSHMANandBLUE thank you, I’ll carry on then 😃
Just looked at the abisko 2, it’s a shame it’s not a bigger version of that design ! But still is a dope tent! 8)
If it was then you’d get a longer centre pole and more headroom! But I’m sure it wouldn’t be as capable in the wind. I fancy the Abisko 2 though.
@@BUSHMANandBLUE I had a vango cairngorm 300 was 2.4kg as I remember was that design too head room was dynamic, miss the tent loads got smashed up in a 74mph storm last year was pretty steady tho at around the 50mph mark I love the single pole tunnel tents luv the mid tent head room
We have the lite 2 , highly recommended it .
One day I’ll get one and DRAG the mrs or one of the kids out!
@@RobertParker1001 I Have the Abisko 2 great tent.
Do the mosquito and midges not get in the end vents if you have them open
No because they have a vent mesh over them. It’s a good solid all round tent!😬
@@BUSHMANandBLUE ok thanks i thought they would get in the vent on the inner when you open the fly door. Thanks
Great review buddy 👍 but do you live in that green container behind you 👀👀 lol
No but I could easily! I sleep in it often though and spend time round the fire with the odd beer and friends.
@@BUSHMANandBLUE what is it in your back garden or something haha look mint mate
My piece of land which is my design and play area. I love it!
@@BUSHMANandBLUE jealous 😂😂😂👍👌
It really is an awesome space. One day I’ll get George Clark’s amazing spaces there. I have plenty to show him.
Your dog is more intelligent than virtually all of the humans that I know!!!
😂😂😂 probably
Would the tensioning lines of the tent sit underneath the footprint ?
I can’t remember. I’ll look next time I get it out. I don’t think it would matter.
Did you have any problems with the tent leaking at the seams?
I’ve not seam sealed mine but it’s only really leaked once in horrendous weather. I’ll do it one day👍
