Glad you have more of an appreciation for my favourite band. I know people don’t like them because of their attitudes, or have some sort of just general dislike to them and maybe even just their music as reasons, but BELIEVE ME also ALOT of people love them! Including myself.
They defined a generation in the 90s and their songs are like anthems to people here in the UK. Even now 30 years later they still are relevant to people’s music purchases through streams and vinyls and have continued to bring in a younger audience to this day whom relate to Noel’s songs and lyrics and Liam as a frontman. They have B-sides bands can only dream as having A-sides like songs and have proven that with this reunion tour they are capable of selling out stadiums and people still have a massive interest in the band. Liam has recovered his voice to a good level again through his solo work and Noel still sounds great and is producing great songs through his High Flying Birds band.
They are the reason for bands like The Artic Monkeys, Kasabian and The Courtneers being formed today as a continuation of Uk indie music bands. Whether you like them or not they are icons.
The band still to the day in the UK are beloved and there is huge anticipation for them both being on stage as brothers again. Defining yet another milestone in 2025 Oasis quite simply are still THAT BAND ❤️🎸

They mostly use basic chords like G, D, C, and E minor. These are easy-to-play shapes on guitar and are super common in pop and rock songs. Sometimes they use "suspended" chords (like Gsus4), which add a bit of sparkle.
    2. Chord Progressions:
Their songs often stick to repeating patterns of 3 or 4 chords. For example, in Wonderwall, the same chord progression plays over and over, making it super catchy.
    3. Melody:
The vocal lines are usually simple and singable, staying close to the main chords. Liam Gallagher often sings in a way that makes the melody sound big and emotional.
    4. Rhythm:
The rhythm tends to be steady and driving. They don't do fancy time changes or tricky beats-just solid, toe-tapping rock.
    5. Dynamics:
They play with loud and soft sections to create drama. A quiet verse will build up to a loud, anthemic chorus (think of the build-up in Don't Look Back in Anger).
    6. Layers:
They use lots of guitars-sometimes acoustic and electric together-to make their sound rich and full. Even though the chords are simple, the layering makes it sound huge.

@@titanium_di2402 Both Noel and Liam have said a lot of things but you have to realise that having the upbringing they had in the area they came from you can't always take what they say at face value. Sure there are musical influences and a lot of references in their songs, and some similarities, like the start of Don't Look Back In Anger and John Lennon's Imagine but I feel to see that every song is a rip off of a Beatles song, and that goes for all their top songs, please tell give a list of what song rips off what Battles song, and Don't Look Back In Anger past the opening doesn't sound like any Beatles song I've heard. Lastly The Beatles had many sounds throughout their was it 8 year spell together, it's what made them such a great band, can no one sound similar to them in a new and updated way? Because at the time they made it big people were crying out for this kind of indie music, though anyone from the States won't know this because whilst Grunge was the big thing over there here we had the Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Stereo MCs, and whilst Nirvana were big behind that the two music scenes were very different so Oasis grew out of these with the aforementioned love of the Beatles, I always saw it as having many influences and not ripping off the biggest band ever (they did rip off bands you've probably heard of like The Real People - see The Dark Side of Noel Gallagher on the James Hargreaves Guitar YT channel).

Even if they cancel the gigs and refund the tickets, at this point they can still make stacks of cash off the pre-sales (interest) and there'll be a bunch of people that would still want to keep their tickets regardless.
One of them has a divorce upcoming that could be "pricey".
