How To Install Plank Tile, 8 Easy Steps!

Porcelain Plank Tile is one of the most popular floor tiles right now. It has the look and texture of real wood, without the maintenance.
In this video, I'm showing 8 steps to install it successfully, here are the bullet points:
1 Wipe the subfloor with a damp sponge to remove excess dust, that could inhibit bond.
2 Burn coat subfloor before notching the floor
3 Trowell towards the shortest direction of the tile
4 Use a 1/2"x1/2" Square Notched trowell to trowel BOTH the floor & back of tile
5 Use a suction cup for easy handling & to collapse thinset ridges
6 Use plenty of leveling clips, especially for larger tiles
7 Push leveling clips in the most advantageous direction.
8 Cut with a Large Manual Cutter
