I have been trying to get a job so that I can give back to God. One day I started thinking if I can't get a job at least I can give from what money my husband gives me. I am so happy to be able to do at least give at least 10% out of that. Then when I do start back working I can keep giving to my church

Tithing is an 'Act of Obedience" You don't 'give to get' The Church gets it all skewered up at times! Tithing is about the state of your heart more than anything else.

This morning I may have watched four 700 club testimonials on how tithing has blessed them financially. This is very encouraging to see how God honors His word.
It would also be great to see testimony’s that share how being obedient to God through tithing has prospered them in other ways. Everyone’s income may not become doubled because of tithing, but God is STILL faithful to us in many ways

vivian acosta God will make due on his promises he never fails. I needed car bad and my financial situation was not the best but God led me to a dealership and I walked with a brand new car with incredible low payments , the amount I prayed for. God will do it if you stand in your faith, speak faith, and just believe. Be encouraged.
The only "Breakthrough" that ever happens is when the Pimp Preacher who wants your $$$$ gets your check and breaks on through to the Bank to cash it and buy a new BMW.
God does not need to be "Bribed" to get Him to bless you...The Father knows what you need before you pray for it and does not need your Credit Card # either...

I sponser two kids. but I dont give to the Church. And I've been blessed. I don't live paycheck to paycheck.
We have tithed in the past and went broke. This whole "give and you will get even more $$$$" is not a doctrine I find works.
E Rodriguez Gods promise is when you give, give from your heart. No matter tithing,or giving to something if you don't do it with a cheerful heart WANTING to do it you won't reap the benefits. Gods Word never fails

@@ERIN_198 ive known ppl that tithed for 20 years thousands to ministries like benny hinns and raised children that werent theirs. When they were in need god didnt help them at all. Its not your job to tell anyone who has tithed with a pure heart or not.
@@vanessarose7491 I personally believe that God is true to his Word. That couple you mentioned, if they served God with all of their hearts : God will come through at the end. F. ex Job in the bible he was righteous, but he went through financel trials but after the trial God gave him much more than he had before the trial. God bless 😊

As a 45 year tither . I know of no such promise in the bible. My income has been up and down. I saw very little relationship between giving and blessing. Yes sometimes God does bless due to faithful actions. But this is not a promise. This implies something not a given. Most biblical promises have a critical context. Look for context in all promises.Many are only to the Jews of old testament. Or had nothing to do with money. Learn to look for CONTEXT !! I still give, but it rarely blessed me. That's the truth.
