@@MyDrummingJourney Amen. Thank God he’s doing great. I’m so happy for you and your family. I know how hard it was for you. God Bless You and You’re Family.
michelle B...True! You feel like a philanthropist, even on a modest income, by regularly giving even a small amount to an organization that helps people in dire situations, such as having a sick child or a disabled veteran spouse, who don't how they will survive when one has to quit a job to become caretaker, and medical costs and bills are piling up. When you see an advertisement for or receive a thank you from the organization you've chosen to support, then you feel RICH-ly blessed.
If you don’t have someone to share whatever you have in life, makes you feel so poor. I live by myself no friends, no family in the US. All I do is work. I feel so lonely. So I will add to your amazing video, having your family &/or true friends make you feel rich (happy - complete). Thank you and blessings for you and your adorable family and everyone reading me.
I'm not sure it would work during Covid, but one idea for you is to check your local library's "Friends of the Library." You can meet some very nice people and the meetings are usually at night. Good luck, I hope you find some good friends soon.
I think so many people have changed their perspective this past year. At some point people realize that having the most luxurious car on their street is not what makes you rich. Neither is the million dollar house. Rich is happy. Rich is appreciating what you have. Rich is loving and sharing. Rich is treating people like you want to be treated. Rich is not monetary, it's a feeling and all the things you listed give us those feelings. You've learned some very wise lessons at a very young age. You have a gift and are gracious enough to share it. You are rich! 🌹 And since the pandemic started, I feel rich now that I can buy "good" toilet paper again. Oh yeah. 🙂
A few other things that make me feel more rich: 1) Having pets. My dogs bring a smile to my face every single day 2) My supportive and loving husband 3) Having a dependable (not fancy) car that’s paid off 4) Making my bed 5) Cozy things like lamps, candles, and blankets :)
You are so right 👍 I have my cat Angelo he brings me so much happiness & love My husband of 40 years 3 beautiful all married 🙏children and 6 grandchildren I see every week We all live near each other Ps and my wax melts ☺️ And my yarn 🧶 & crochet hook 👍
It also feels more luxurious to not have products around that show the labeling. I have a dishwashing soap and hand soap dispenser on my kitchen sink that really makes a difference. They don't have to be expensive, just pretty. I saw this tip on another channel.
Yes decanting things makes it look and feel better. I put my cooking oils in glass bottles and it just looks nice sitting out, even though it's not less stuff out than before.
Yes! I saw that on another video, too and it makes sense. It says that your brain unconsciously tries to "read" text even when you aren't focused on it. It's make me rethink a lot of things in my home. It's much calmer now.
@@jainthorne4136 Exactly. On a tangent, it's a big reason classrooms should NOT have written posters all over the walls. But the school boards require a gazillion things be posted. Completely contrary to a calm, focused learning environment!! Drives me crazy!
Not living paycheck to paycheck, is when I finally felt like I made it. It's very freeing but took many years and discipline. Also, comfy, soft sheets and bath towels. It was so nice to be able to afford something else other than cheap Walmart towels and bed sheets.
I took a huge pay cut in 2013 and it has remained almost the same to the penny. I am so with you. I had to change how I'm living NOW, and live off of this income instead of continuing to live as I had before. I sure miss it. But, that is real life. I have sheets and towels I love and I just drag the sheets off the bed, into the washer, back on the bed. One set you love is better than 10 you hate.
@@yesiownfrodo I lost my job several months after I posted this comment so I get it and only use the same two or three quality sheets, depending on the weather. One of them is from Costco that are my favorite. My income has changed too and not getting as much. I'm working towards that income again but realize it'll take time. I'd still rather save money for quality sheets and towels than have to buy cheap ones again after a year. Good luck to you and hope you get back the income you lost. It's tough but you have the knowledge and discipline to do it.
What I like having is good quality candles and designer perfumes, 2 or 3 bottles, set on a silver tray. I swear it makes me feel like a million dollars:)
Instead of fresh flowers I use greenery from my yard with a couple of wires that I made of beads, pearls, or buttons shooting up out but it’s easy for me because I live where there IS greenery available year round ...
We are currently on a "pay it all off" journey! We just finished paying for our child's *last* semester in college! Now it is time to focus on OUR couples goals! Being debt free is absolutely on the top of that list!
Living below your means is the first and most important advice I give to younger couples!! I was blessed to be able to buy a beautiful but modest house when I was 24 and single with one tiny dog. Since then, a husband, 2 (going on 3) kids, and another dog have moved in. The house is getting small and we've considered a bigger house so many times, and honestly we could afford a nice place in our ridiculously expensive city. But being comfortable financially has done so much for our marriage and family/personal peace. The extra bedrooms or bigger yard just isn't worth the stress. We're able to live comfortably, not worry when expenses come up, eat organic, be generous, and save a nice safety net without feeling the strain. Buy a safe, heavy car but don't make it fancy. Buy the good quality upgrades for your house when you need them, but don't install a pool or $10,000 piano you won't use. No one needs $900 shoes. The peace you'll feel saving that money is worth ALL the material stuff and more.
A funny thing, but I actually invested in a pair of leggins and joggers that are buttery soft and comfy that cost more than some jeans. But I feel so good putting them on either on the weekend or after work. The buttery soft feeling against my skin tells me that I take care of myself and I'm worth it and it actually curbs my anxiety and prevents me from overeating and overspending!
I can’t find the article now, but I read somewhere that if you actually buy what you want to buy (given that it is in your budget and you have considered how it is going to add value) then you actually feel happier and are less likely to buy many small things as “replacement” items for something that you really want but may be more expensive.
I discovered that we usually had some coffee at the end of the pot, so I started putting it in a cup in the fridge. In the afternoon I pour it over ice cubes and add almond milk and a straw. It's a simple thing that reminds me of my favorite sbx drink, a coffee frappuccino, and actually prevents waste.
The toilet paper call out was a big conversation starter in my house cause my husband overheard 😆😆 I 100% agree!! I subconsciously judge restaurants for the toilet paper they provide me 😅😅
Mine INSISTS on 4 layered toilet paper ( sorry I don't know what it's called in English) and I just don't see the point in buying more expensive toilet paper but I had to give in as that's basically the only real request he has around the house 😂
Buying bulk on sale to keep stock and save money. Makes me feel rich to not need to worry. No need to run to the store multiple times a week, especially during this pandemic. 😷
When my grandmother was living on only social security and just getting by she would say she wasn't poor... only "financially embarrassed". Her house was spotless and she always wore a dress and earrings. Very elegant.
When we got rid of our debt, we started putting what we were paying each month debt wise into a savings account and kept living on that budget (so was below our means) and when we look at the bank now we have such a pleasant surprise. It really helps put our minds at ease knowing we have that money if something happens.
What a good idea! :-) I’m loving the idea of getting out of debt, even though mine is quite small compared to many’s. And it’s a great idea to take that same amount, or even a portion of it, and have it put into savings each month. 💞👍🏼✨
My husband and I did a similar thing. We created a budget and a schedule and we both paid off our college loans and we saved for our first home which we purchased 3 yrs ago and saved enough I could stay home with our boys (6yoand almost 4yo).
Orchids can last years. Trim the flower stalk after the flowers are done blooming. It will bloom over and over again. I put a little butterfly in with it when it doesn't have any flowers so it's a little cuter 👍
Fantastic idea. I grow African Violets and move them around the house to ensure they are in their best state. They also are apt gifts especially for green fingured peeps.
And orchids look classy! I know they aren’t cool, but silk orchids can look real. As a teacher, I left my “orchid” at school over the summer, and when I came back in the fall, my custodian was so relieved that she hadn’t let it die over the summer! Once a week she’d soak it in the sink, then put it on my desk in the sunlight for the rest of the week.. she about died when I thanked her profusely then told her it was never ALIVE.
Absolutely! And they don't bother my allergies! They are the only fresh flower that I have been able to have in the house. I used to admire them but thought I would never be able to keep them alive because they look so exotic. They're SO easy. Just put 2 ice cubes (or equivalent water) on them once a week. That's it. The blooms last for months, and even after the blooms are gone, we like to have the plants around for the greenery. (I'm hoping to figure out how to get them to bloom again.) Sam's Club often has them for $13.
We are the house with good toilet paper. We used to host foster children and they always commented on the soft toilet paper and good smelling soaps. 🥰😍
I really like that you focus on the whole money picture, and being debt free. And giving simple steps to get there. I love your cleaning videos, they give me hope that I can finally get my house in order whereas before I just didn't know where to start and it made me feel so overwhelmed. You've helped me so much! I really appreciate your videos.
I spent many years anguishing about debt when I was a single mother of 3. Living debt free now really, really does feel like being rich. And having back ups of basic products somehow does make me feel safe and prepared. This is a great, great video! Crazy notions of what it is to be “rich” create much suffering.
In 2013 I had a stroke at work. This resulted in a big loss of wages and rather an identity crisis (who was I without my career?). This was an excellent video. You should be a guest on Dave Ramsey. This was wonderful. For me, I feel rich when I have cash in my pocket, just $5 of wiggle money is enough. To me, that makes a big difference so that I don't feel stifled by my budget. Access to beautiful music and art makes me feel richer than a Vanderbilt. I agree with you on amazing coffee. It's worth the effort. I try to make time to just sit and be grateful. Gratitude is something no one else can do for you, and that no one can prevent you from doing. I so agree on the pajamas!! I have a set that is the pajamas and the robe and I feel like a star when I wear them. LOL And I'm single. I do it for me.
Good tips. If I may add, having matching hangers elevates one's closet overall. And, not just the coat closet, which guests see. Put them in your own closet, too. ~ Lisa
Totally agree with what you said about being debt free. My husband & I did that several years ago, built up our savings, and I am able to stay home with our 2 toddlers. I am so grateful every day that we made that choice so many years ago.
I think doing things yourself instead of hiring them done makes me feel richer. I know that seems backwards but the FEELING it gives you to know that you did something yourself I LOVE IT.
I finally ditched wearing the oversized t-shirt to bed thing I went to Burlington and grabbed matching pajamas on sale. They are so soft and I do feel rich without spending much. Now if I could get my hair picture perfect when I wake up like in the movies....lol
You're so right about a minimized closet. Decision fatigue is a real thing. The more things I have to choose from, the harder it is for me to decide. I cannot go to Cheesecake Factory for that reason. Their menu is the length of a novel. Mindset...for sure! Nice video.
I grew up neglected and then into Foster Care. After that I struggled with drugs/alcohol... Now later into my 30's I really relate to these things, what makes me feel rich are simple but quality things. I bought matching Pjs last year instead of old clothes! lol. My favourite thing once a month is: drinking my Tea china tea cup I got for FREE, in my matching Pjs putting some more money into my sinking/emergency fund. - I am RICH compared to the homeless duggie kid.
I bought my husband a milk frother for Christmas. He barely uses it but I LOVE it! I mix a little flavored syrup in with my almond milk and I feel like a baller. Awww yeah.
Soy milk really froths. I add cacao or cocoa powder to frother & it blends well. I like my silk pajamas from Neiman Marcus. I like to lounge around in them..
Love it. For me this year it was spending a few dollars on nicer bath towels (rather than the ones I had in college 10 years ago) lol. But truthfully yes, your last point was so true. With a little change in perspective, we realize all we have to be so thankful for, and that changes everything.
Love all these. The toilet paper? Perfect. And flowers. I don’t think of these as making me feel richer. It feels more like I’m taking care of myself. Loving myself. Also. Pick one or two products that you spend a little more on that make you feel special. For me it’s my Amish Roll Butter and my whole bean organic coffee.
@@lori-annefay4138 YES- Kerry Gold. However bring on Amazon so much am tempted by the super high(er) end butters just for homemade bread- not gor everything
I agree. My first thought was when you can pay all your bills in full, and don’t have to figure out how much of each one to pay, then you said “be out of debt.” Well said.
I’m not rich or well paid or overly comfortable that I don’t have to watch my spending BUT we have a nice home ( could be bigger could do with renovations but I’m happy), a car (paying it monthly but again it’s safe drives well looks good and will last us another few years), food in cupboards, eat out or cinema once a money as a family (offers/take our own treats etc) and we have nice clothes & shoes that we wear until the kids grow too big and/or they are worn. I am happy living like this & teaching my children they can’t have everything now & we have to work hard to pay for nights out, nice clothes & furnishings. Kids should be taught this x
I was happy to see that this video went a different direction than I expected. We just got out of vehicle and credit card debt and it feels great. I have also been reducing my clutter by donating and selling things I will never or rarely use. I've got a long way to go but am feeling better. I think decluttering will definitely reduce my stress.
I have to be honest. When I read the title of this video I thought, oh no, here comes another young entitled girl who wants everything now! I see so many young married couples, I’m 63, that want the house, the furniture the high paying job, expensive clothes, and everything right now! They buy high end everything and then wonder why they’re in debt. I really actually enjoyed this video because it was the exact opposite! You got everything right! It’s not about having everything rich people do, it’s about being happy with what you have and creating a budget you can live with and making good choices when you do purchase things. It’s about saving money and creating a cushion or even saving for your future, especially retirement. Finally a young person who is wise beyond her years! Good for you Kallie!
What makes me feel rich is when I buy 2 or 3 sets of bed sheets that are so soft and awesome to the touch that I don't want to get out of bed. Makes me feel like I'm in a luxury hotel. Also my Clinique face creams. I can't use anything with fragrance in it so this is something I have to use. And my shower time is important to me. But my bath gel or soaps can smell good but not linger on my body due to my sense of smell is very sensitive. Not to picky on toilet paper so I'm good there.
I can’t explain the feeling of having a supply of things on hand. I was literally able to supply my household and 2 others with toilet paper and hand sanitizer during the crisis based on what I had at home. I was close with my depression era great grandparents and I am so grateful for the lessons they taught me about keeping a supply of things at home.
You have presented this in a very intelligent and logical manner. I am 71 years old and am financially set for my retirement. We did without in our younger years to enjoy our later years. I stress to younger people to start saving early. How’s the new baby?
I keep my house clean ,organized neutral colors with glamorous candles and accessories 🤩 that's luxurious and rich for me aside my hygiene or perfume and put together even at home or in everyday wear 👍🏻
Love starting my mornings with you! 1/have a coffee 2/ your such a bright personality 3/ totally reachable tidying goals 4/ my house has improved so much since starting because YEAH I HAD 5-15 MINUTES. Thanks for all your videos and please keep calling me out! #dollar tree bestie
Yessss! No debt and even just Something in a savings account is life changing! Dave Ramsey has it right! You are a genius for putting all of these together. I’ve never thought about it before but for example you point of buying local feeling more special. We just yesterday purchased from a local shop and it was available online but it made us feel better that someone locks would get a commission, it supported our local business itself and the customer service experience was special compared to ordering online.
I appreciate some of these tips. Especially the debt-free, clutter free and capsules wardrobe. But for some things, I prefer feeling more green than more rich. Bamboo TP makes me feel good. Shopping local feels good snd makes one a healthy participant in the community. Some tips aren’t doable for some since a reasonable salary is not available to so many. I like your ending. I visited a small town in Mexico a long time ago and was impressed with how happy the seemingly poor people there were. They had each other. They were rich in family and community.
Five Star Video! The psychology behind the closet sooo true. Living in a studio I went a step further and have my closet down the street in in a quality storage unit. It's a 10x10 and the expense is a write off as I Keep my photography equip there too. It's a thrill that it's so organized. But not cluttering up my space in my studio. I can walk ten min. To get fancy clothes because dates are planned. Yes beauty routine. Also use Groupon for monthly spa day. Make it an event. And when it comes to the flowers I do vases from thrift shop world, you can find some gorgeous ones beyond plain glass. I change the arrangement and vase once a month, doing dried or silk flowers with some real cut flowers snuck in. Any good florist will sell you 3 to 4 individual stems. Go consistently create a relationship with your florist and it's a win win. Used work in the industry so I know this to be true. Staying clean and organized makes you feel better because it requires self disciple, and it can make you feel more secure. The other thing is you can have a few elegant bottles of olive oils or vinegrettes in your panty. Pretty is pleasing to the eye and by nature some of us are esthetics.
Loved this video! I’ve been implementing many of these into my life the last couple of years. I need to make the transition from my hubby’s t-shirts to pj sets! One thing that makes me feel richer is filling my tank with gas instead of just putting $10 in every couple of days!
You have inspired me so many times with minimizing my closet!! This morning when I walked into my closet I thought of you and thought I have got to do something with my clothes!!! That's my goal the next couple weeks!!
The matching pajama set tip is SO TRUE. Ditching my old t shirts and sweats and buying all new pj sets was an absolute game-changer for feeling like a functioning adult in my experience. 👍🏼👍🏼
I have to add-i have my "Happy" mug to drink my tea in. It's a cup that makes me smile because it came from a friend, family member or my husband or it has a sweet picture on it. I can drink hot water if I'm out of tea happily if it's in my happy mug!
Excellent video!! One thing I do with my family to make us feel richer is eating out once a week. This little luxury is something we look forward to and helps us to feel like money isn’t so tight 🤗
I already do almost all of these. Made me feel so much better! I’ve been working on the decluttering and scaling down clothes for a couple weeks now and have noticed so much of a difference in my mood when I see it.
You really nailed it here. Clean house, flowers, matching pj's, clothes you love and wear, being organised ( aka mental clarity), savings$, yes, so important. Community connection, buy local, love your neighbourhood, love what you have, enjoy being you. Thank you oxo
Absolutely LOVE this video! I’m 46 and have always lived paycheck to paycheck! I had all four of my kids by age 26! I am now going to college to get my Masters in Social Work and I have not been in school since I graduated in 1993! A day at a time ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome that you eliminated debt! Keep promoting that as you will do a lot of people a huge service. A cloth shower curtain liner rather than plastic is a $10 luxury that makes me feel richer.
About the nice toilet paper... I bought a bidet. They aren't expensive (I spent $30-40), they are better for the environment, and are super luxurious. Plus they save you all that money not buying toilet paper, making you actually richer. To dry off, just make your own cloth toilet paper
Love these tips! I have done some of them over the years, my boyfriend loves having flowers on our dining table and in our bedroom. He has told me that our place feels stale and cold if we could buy a speaker to listen to music. We ended up buying a portable speaker with bluetooth with a fun design. We ordered it from Target. So now every time he arrives home, he turns up the music and we listen to it while we eat dinner. He helps me set up the table (he watched YT videos on how waiters set up tables in restaurants) Ha! Ha! Our evenings are so much better and we have a rule for ourselves: no cell phones at the table or in the bedroom. Which means we get to chat or just enjoy the ambience. 😊
Can’t agree more with the pajamas and food skincare. Quality bath products too for that once a month at home spa day or tub soak followed by skin care routine and comfy, cute pjs. Love it!
1. Live debt free 2. Declutter 3. Toilet paper 4. Fresh flowers 5. Having what you need when you run out 6. Setting the table 7. Minimised wardrobe 8. Matching pj 9. Have money in a savings 10. Wiggle room budget 11.Skin care routine
I just found your channel not too long ago and I love it. Alot of what you talk about is what I already know but hearing it from you, so calm, so kind, so passionate and understanding of what life is in reality gives me the little push I need. I've done such a better job at getting started and getting rid of things that I don't need or are unnecessary. Although I've had 2 items (cleaning items) that I trashed because I hadn't needed them for a couple of years only to need them like a week or 2 later. 🤭😆 I was okay with that because 99.9999999% of everything else I threw out was worth it and it only cost me a few bucks to buy it again. I found that once they were gone, actually picked up by the garbage folks or taken to a charity, my anxiety over it was COMPLETELY gone IMMEDIATELY. It was an amazing feeling. I still have more to do because I only tackle organizing and purging here and there...when I have time, but I'm honestly loving getting back to this fresh feeling. I don't know how I fell off of that wagon in the first place but I'm climbing back on. Thank you so much!
One thing my husband and I did was make a small payment towards the principle on our mortgage. Then, when we received an unexpected large sum of money, we put that towards the principle as well. We also used funds from our savings account (that made only 1% interest) to pay off our credit cards that charged 25% interest. Maybe these things don't make sense to you, but they worked for us. We also loved camping, which made for a less expensive vacation. And finally, I am the "richest" woman for having been married to my David.
This was such a fun video to watch!! I haven't seen any videos like this before and from someone that already does most of these, I can confirm that they really do make you feel richer! Off to find matching pajamas now!!
I went to a seminar where the sealer said you should live on 85% of your income. She said if you lose your job, your next job will probably pay less, cause you want another job right away! So you will still be able to live on less cause you are already doing that! Money doesn’t buy happiness, but it does buy comfort! When you can’t afford to go to the dentist to get your teeth fixed and when you can’t afford another car, when yours totally breaks down--money could definitely help!

1.clean off any foliage that will be at or below water level
2. Prepare your vase first and give it the flower food or a homemade version with a splash of bleach and sugar water.
3. Cut your stems and immediately place in water. Many flowers close up within a minute or two of cutting.
4. Change your water after day four. Again, give a fresh cut.

This is so true. When I finally get done with this place, I'm definitely going to have duplicates.
@@samanthab3292 Oh that's a great idea! Thanks!
This is such a good idea!
I agree with #2 wholeheartedly! When my home feels cluttered or messy, it gives me anxiety and makes me feel like I don’t want to be in my own home.
Me also veey definitely
Yes I agree
Agree and I enjoy cooking or just hanging out at home with less clutter around. Rich!
I agree 💯 %
Not living paycheck to paycheck, is when I finally felt like I made it. It's very freeing but took many years and discipline.
Also, comfy, soft sheets and bath towels. It was so nice to be able to afford something else other than cheap Walmart towels and bed sheets.
Cheap towels from Costco are luxurious.
Jenny. I don't like cheap towel. I understand what you say. I love a pretty elegant table setting. With a beautiful vase of flowers.
Hi Jenny
Silk pillowcases are good for your skin (from another YT channel).
Colour coordination (bra, underwear, socks, tank top, mask) makes me feel like I have my life together 😁
That's a good one
Hard agree.
What I like having is good quality candles and designer perfumes, 2 or 3 bottles, set on a silver tray. I swear it makes me feel like a million dollars:)
Matching hangers in my closet. That’s a luxury to me LOL
Yes, I agree : )
Facts I just brought more yesterday lol.
For me: wooden hangers =)
Didn't buy any more, just spray painted the ones I had.
absolutely hahaha
It kinda drives me nuts when an odd hanger shows up lol
Got out of debt recently and the weight off my shoulders is AMAZING!
Am just curious about the brand of leggings you invested in?
@@marypierce8708 me too, I wanna know!
@grishakarisha that makes 3 of us that want to know about the leggings!
LuLu Lemon leggings are very nice.
I subconsciously judge restaurants for the toilet paper they provide me 😅😅
Yes, I've been trying to get my husband to stop buying the paper that leaves splinters 😳.
Mine INSISTS on 4 layered toilet paper ( sorry I don't know what it's called in English) and I just don't see the point in buying more expensive toilet paper but I had to give in as that's basically the only real request he has around the house 😂
YES THE RESTAURANTS! Or low key office buildings, like when I was interviewing for jobs lol
@@theeGeiisha in english the layers of toilet paper are called "ply" so your husband likes 4-ply paper. 😁
@@Elizabeth-ll4tt oh thanks😁
Once upon a time what you have now is what you wished for. Helps me to keep things in perspective.
I’m loving the idea of getting out of debt, even though mine is quite small compared to many’s.
And it’s a great idea to take that same amount, or even a portion of it, and have it put into savings each month. 💞👍🏼✨
I love your perspective. Honestly all of the 14 things could be under the title of ways to reduce anxiety!
Truth!
Having a fluffy white bathrobe makes me feel SO rich lol like I’m in a spa every night after by shower
I agree! Being debt free is the BEST. Not having any money stress is very freeing and makes for a very happy marriage!
My husband and I did a similar thing. We created a budget and a schedule and we both paid off our college loans and we saved for our first home which we purchased 3 yrs ago and saved enough I could stay home with our boys (6yoand almost 4yo).
Buy an orchid! Slightly more initial outlay but lasts months instead of fresh cut flowers.
I didnt know that :) I just got some house plants recently and have been loving them!
(I'm hoping to figure out how to get them to bloom again.)
Sam's Club often has them for $13.
A few years ago we had family over and my cousin pulled me to the side to ask what toilet paper we used. 😂 I'll never forget that moment.
Cottonelle or northern...those r the two I prefer.. I just look for ibotta rebates, digital coupons, etc...
We are the house with good toilet paper. We used to host foster children and they always commented on the soft toilet paper and good smelling soaps. 🥰😍
The little things can make a big difference.
Being present as a mother to children is such a blessing and so important and being able to live on one income feels rich!
Becoming debt-free a few years ago was absolutely a game-changer for us. It was difficult but so worth it and so much less stressful in the long run.
Pay yourself first! Pay off debt. Save a little every month. It works!
Great advice. Attitude of gratitude will always make someone feel "rich".
I think doing things yourself instead of hiring them done makes me feel richer. I know that seems backwards but the FEELING it gives you to know that you did something yourself I LOVE IT.
Amen.
I tell my friend that she should be washing her own car since she's broke. I save $$ that way or don't wash it. Just loaned her $$.
The pajama set tip is real!!! I brought 3 sets off Amazon for $20 each. It has really made me feel like I'm figuring out the whole adulting thing 🙌
Nice video.
Trader Joe's for fresh flowers! I feel like they offer a great bargain for what you get
I feel rich when I’m organized lol
I grew up neglected and then into Foster Care. After that I struggled with drugs/alcohol... Now later into my 30's I really relate to these things, what makes me feel rich are simple but quality things. I bought matching Pjs last year instead of old clothes! lol. My favourite thing once a month is: drinking my Tea china tea cup I got for FREE, in my matching Pjs putting some more money into my sinking/emergency fund. - I am RICH compared to the homeless duggie kid.
LOL I knew a lady who insisted in finding nice toilet paper that also was color matched to her bathroom. And yes, that DID seem very luxurious.
Decluttering definitely helps! I cleaned out my kitchen drawers, organized and only kept the essentials and it made me feel like a million bucks! 🤑
I’ll definitely start setting the table once a week, 😂, never thought about that
Getting my home organized or at least halfway there to the minimalistic dream I have, is my goal this year!
I bought my husband a milk frother for Christmas. He barely uses it but I LOVE it! I mix a little flavored syrup in with my almond milk and I feel like a baller. Awww yeah.
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Better than SB
Same.... I use skim milk to get extra froth... And a little cinnamon on top 😊
Soy milk really froths. I add cacao or cocoa powder to frother & it blends well. I like my silk pajamas from Neiman Marcus. I like to lounge around in them..
Isn't that like him buying you a new sander?
I think self care has a lot to do with making people feel rich!
Lol, for me it's Kerry Irish Gold and my fresh ground Duncan's beans.
@@katiewilson6561 self care don't make me feel rich
For me it’s scented cleaning spray and hand soap!!
@@lori-annefay4138 YES- Kerry Gold. However bring on Amazon so much am tempted by the super high(er) end butters just for homemade bread- not gor everything
We are all so much richer than a monetary value. This is a great reminder, especially in today's societal pressures. ❤
Potted flowers 🌸 are my favorite because they last longer!
I feel the same way about Clinique ♥️
You do not have to use clinique. You're just rich
Having replacements would double the amount of things I have. I feel richer not stressing about running out of something.
Easy to do if you shop two for one, or Costco, lol
When I open the last bottle of something, I immediately put it on my shopping list
Another great tip to feel rich is exercising daily, I did that 3 days in a row and not only did I feel good but surprisingly I felt rich
It's a 10x10 and the expense is a write off as I
Keep my photography equip there too.
Having the right kitchen tool! Also, matching plates.
I’m rich in blessings and lessons I’ve learned.
Being rich is to each day whether it rains or is sunny
......love the kind smiles of people and hustle of the city
A day at a time ❤️❤️❤️
Much love and luck to you 🤗
Awesome that you eliminated debt! Keep promoting that as you will do a lot of people a huge service. A cloth shower curtain liner rather than plastic is a $10 luxury that makes me feel richer.
You pegged it! Absolutely! Just being responsible with what is given to us makes us rich! Rich with so many things. Thank you!
About the nice toilet paper... I bought a bidet. They aren't expensive (I spent $30-40), they are better for the environment, and are super luxurious. Plus they save you all that money not buying toilet paper, making you actually richer. To dry off, just make your own cloth toilet paper
I think the mindset is the only one. We struggled at one time to even have TP so having fluffy expensive was not an option. I think it is a mindset.
Love it!

3. Toilet paper
4. Fresh flowers
5. Having what you need when you run out
6. Setting the table
7. Minimised wardrobe
8. Matching pj

11.Skin care routine
Messy house = messy mind for sure!! I can't cope when things get messy, it's too stressful! I'm so with you on the toilet paper!!
Hello sunshine. Kallie , you really hit the nail on the head with this video. Much continued success and wellness always. 💜🙏🌞
Enjoyed. I think having the things you need-shelter/food, etc and family/friends to spend your life with make you feel rich.
Baby Finley is so gorgeous! Congratulations!
