Coco fiber/coir has become the industry standard for cultivation, especially in indoor hydroponic applications. Compared to your average potting soil, coco fiber gives you more control over your plants and their nutrient intake. It allows you to feed less while ensuring maximum nutrient uptake thanks to coco's incredible water and nutrient retention. In this video we go over the top coco mediums from some leading brands in the industry. From how they are made to what makes "this" coco different from "that" coco, we dive into it all in this in-depth coco fiber/coco coir product review.

That's correct! Sorry we forgot to mention that, however Growers is actually 100% pure coco, no wood fiber.

You only show the bags, not the products themselves. Structure is king for a potting mix, I can't see that through the bag.

That's a solid point. We will be sure to take note for any future soil/media/substrate content.

Cal/mag is most of the time used for buffering the coconut and taking out the sodium of the coconut coir

I switched from soil to canna bioterra. I love it. I have only been using bio veg and rhizotonic. My plants look good but I think I should start adding some more supplements to this line. I have a few autos in flower I’m giving them the BIO Flores and I have the bio boost on the way. So I’m trying to start learning about cal mag and if I need to use that with the bioterra

All Plagron coco substrates are buffered. They are ready to use straight out the bag but start directly with watering from day 1 with your coco A&B solution. Do not know if the other brands are buffered

I'd use Canna because I know it's use by Commercial Growers and Proven. I;m not saying the others are no good. I'm just saying If I get good results why would I change to something else.
Rockwool is the best grow medium anyway.

We don’t claim that every product is a pure coco product. The video covers coco fiber mediums, including media containing coco fiber. Straight coco and 70/30 are the two most common and popular coco fiber mediums.
