In this video im going to show you the process that i use to prepare a fresh compressed block of Coco Coir. The company says that it is buffered, i have not had any issues to make me think otherwise. There are no plants in this video. If you're wanting to see the plants, check out any of the other videos on my channel. Like and Subscribe if the content is useful or entertaining...

i like the idea of the coco bricks, easier to transport & for stealth growers very cool too . Nice mix, I use a similar mix but i also add epsom salts , & dont tend to have to add calmag during my grow & i add insect fras too which with the worm castings does wonders for microbial life .. nice one 😎

Yea that Epsom salt will take care of any Magnesium deficiencies.. Never tried the insect fras, might have to sometime.

Hi, I like the video and am going to try coco for my next grow. Just a quick question, how or what is the correct way to buffer the coco with CalMag?
I already purchased canna coco brick, which expands to make 40L
    Thanks

Canna coco i would assume is already buffered. But if not, after you hydrate your coco, empty the water. Fill it back up with a CalMag/water solution of around 7ml per gallon of water. Let it soak 8 hours, repeat one more time, after the 2nd time it should be good and buffered.

What product (small plastic bottle) were you adding to lower the pH of the water?

pH down. The brand is general hydroponics. Any brand will work.
