So for clearance: Can someone extend each Phase? Or will someone just decide when they move to the next Phase? Is it more about simulating the plants life, not that important how long this is, rather than just going strict week by week
It is possible. In general a plant will go through each phases, depending on several parameters (light, climate, nutrients,...) you can influence how long it takes. The only exception is that if you do not triggering flowering a plant can always stay in vegetative phase (that is for example mother plants).
New to this so probably a stupid question. Can canna terra Vega be mixed with other canna nutrients? And can canna terra Flora be mixed with the canna boost, cannazym, rhizotonic and pk13-14 or are they 2 separate feeds?
Hey there, no worries we all had to learn this. So CANNA Terra Vega & Terra Flores are your nutrients. CANNA Boost, Pk 16-14, Rhizotonic and Cannazym are additives. You can mix nutrients with additives in the same nutrient solution. We made videos to explain this: ua-cam.com/video/KeQdYSTDay8/v-deo.html
First time grower and super confused. I have seedlings at varying heights. I was gifted all these products. When is A & B used? On the TERRA Chart, does that mean you mix all those ingredients (per line) together, or one per watering and rotate? Go easy on me! lol
Hi, well if you have A&B then you shouldn't look at a Terra growschedule. We have one video that should help you: ua-cam.com/video/7IWs9NBkxe0/v-deo.html
I have the Canna Coco starter set, and have mixed 10L of water. after a few days it stinks quite a bit and has little flakes floating in the water, is that normal or has it gone bad?
Hi, what else did you add in the water? How did you correct the pH? What is the temperature of the water? What is your pH? What is the EC and hardness of your water?
@@CANNAAustria my tapwater is hard and has around 400 starting ppm. I added nutrients from the canna coco fertilizer starter set A, B, Cannazym and Rhizotonic and PH down by Canna. I noticed there are a few flakes floating around in my Cannazhym bottle, i think it is those that i see in my water. I clean and disinfect my water bucket after every use, every two days.
@@grassgrow030 Hey leave out the cannazym if you think the nutrients went bad and see if the problem still occur what you drescribed. There can be many things what your problem is causing. I had the same problems with stinky nutrient solutions after around 24H. Do not keep the nutrient solution in the sun/light, store it in a dark place. @@grassgrow030 Normally you do not have to disinfect your bucket every two days. If the nutrient solutions starts to smell i definitely would disinfect the bucket/storage tank because you maybe got some bad bacteria growing in it, it could be something else but better safe than sorry.
hey there im doing 2 autos, im at day 12 and im just using the light feed schedule (abit less than recommended at the moment) i am growing in coco coir with perlite and worm casting, should i add nutes every watering ? (im watering every 30hours ish) this is my first time :) Thanks!
Hi, indeed we advise to add nutrients with every watering. As for the dosage and watering frequency, it depends on a lot of different factors (humidity, temperature, light, ...). That is why our growschedule is a guidance, not an iron law. You need to observe your plants. As it is your first time, maybe you would like to give only a little to avoid excesses and burning your plants. But be aware that underfeeding can also be a problem.
@@CANNAAustria Thanks so much for the speedy reply! They are looking green and healthy so far, i didnt feed them for the first week as i was worried about the "root burn" and i think that slowed them down abit, plus temps n humid going up n down as its sort of a budget grow, i will keep adding half nutes untill i see they are in need of more! Thanks again for the help and quick response 👍😁
Hey guys, in Coco grow shedule u do have a EC of 1.4 to start with as seedling. is that really right? I did heard it can fry seedlings? i did read that a lot of guys start with 0.6@@CANNAAustria
Hi, do you add the nutrients solution during the whole phase or do you just add the nutrients once a week and just water until the end of the week or until the next phase?
Hi there, you add the nutrient solution with every watering during each growing phase. When the plant changes of growing phase then you adapt the nutrient solution. Regarding the frequency it all depends on your system.
It is possible to use a nutrient tank. If your solution is 100% minerals (e.g. only CANNA Terra) we recommend changing it every 2 weeks. If it is a mix of mineral and organic (e.g. CANNA Terra with Rhizotonic) then we recommend changing it every week. If it is only organic (e.g. Bio Vega), you need to change it daily.
Why are you using 24/7 lights? A plant needs some dark period so we wouldn't recommend doing this. But to answer your question: the amounts of nutrients are the same, as transpiration is higher, you should water more.
@@CANNAAustria ok I will change to 18/6 but do I do this gradually over a few days or do I just cut straight down? Baby girls are only 4 days old for your info.
@@Grinz285 24/7 is just fine for veg. 24/7 works better imo with organic feeds n super soil type of mediums. Won't see any issue there once you figure it all out. Mastering mediums and fertilization (feeding) doesn't come overnight
Our Formula is very concentrated, but the amount you need in dosing (max 0,8L/L) is so low that the nitrogen you actually bring in is very small. In normal water, you add the same amount of nitrogen by correcting the pH with pH- grow (nitric acid). So if you use Calmag to top up your soft water, then you don't need so much pH- Grow.
Also I added 4ml of rhizotonic to 2L of water and ph’d it to 5.8. The next day the ph had risen to 6.2. Why is this and how do you stop it from happening?
It depends on the type of water you are using. A general advise would be to wait before measuring the pH. Tap water contains bicarbonates which reacts to the pH minus over time.
Plants grow differently depending on the type and strain. The grower can also influence how long a phase is (by climate control). Thus we think it is better to have a schedule by the phase of the plants.
