Thank you. The channel is full of ups and downs. But I enjoy hearing comments from people who watch our videos. Makes what you do that much more fulfilling. Good luck to you and HH
@@NathanielOutdoorAdventures yes that is definitely the upside of a channel. Odds are we will never be able to retire and go full time youtube. And never thought that. But still an awarding adventure at times
Hey Man. The locals (Retired) folks hunt the heck out of that Beach. To really land anything, you have to hunt late evening or very early morning ( 6a.m.) There is also Buckroe Beach in Hampton. That's where I starting detecting back in 2012. Good luck and Happy Detecting.
Thank you for the cool tips. Yeah that was our first trip to Virginia Beach. Last year we tore it up in ocean city. So we figured we'd move a little further south HH
I live in front of that beach in the place called first landing, and I was thinking of buying a metal detector to go to the beach and try my luck, but what you say discourages me, I thought there would be something better in that place
@@annwlson2185 Hello Ann. Sorry if my info is discouraging. It was meant to let you know the best times. There is always finds on Va. Beach. In the spring and summer months you can finds rings, change and of course trash. This time of year the finds are a little fewer, but go after a storm or Nor Easter and you luck will be better. Go ahead a get a metal detector because you can also hunts parks and school grounds in Va. Beach. This coming April there will be and event called Something in the water. After the events end in the evening or early morning there will be lots of great finds in the stage area and surroundings. Good luck.
Metal detecting can be hit and miss. Especially beaches. If you stay persistent you'll find some cool jewelry. We were on vacation that week and gave it a whirl. Up at the boardwalk of Virginia Beach there were a lot more diggable tones. But as the gentleman said there is definitely other places to detect beside the beach. And with you living in Virginia that is a hot bed for Civil war. So by all means get that detector and go out and uncover some history along with some other cool items. Tc
Take care , stay safe and healthy with whatever or wherever you maybe going or doing next ! Doing okay here in Kansas right now the temperature is 26 with a windchill of 15 and more snow on the way !
Thank you for the nice compliments. Yes a beautiful beach. And honestly 9ne of the cleanest beaches I've ever detected. There actually weren't very many signals to be found. But when we actually hunted Virginia Beach itself. It was pretty trashy. There was 8 of us there. So we had a great time and memories were made that will last a life time. Guess it's not always about the hunt.
Great video! Nice finds ! Hope I can get out there soon, I just had a ball on Daytona beach I went for my Daughter's wedding Brought my detector but It killed me that I didn't have time to use it !, but Im going back in a month or so so Im going to hit the beach hard,I live in Virginia so I can hit the beach here anytime !
I think we were in the sandbridge area staying. Wasnt many people on the beach due to pandemic. But at Va. Beach it was pretty packed. Was a little disappointed in our finds. But we had a great time away
We were in an area that was more the less a private part of the beach. Did go down one day to the actual main section of the beach. But yes detecting is allowed.
Lived in that area for 25 yrs. Recently moved. The north end is less used by tourist and more by residents. So your comment about Virginia Beach inlet got a what(?) from me. Unless you were at Rudee inlet. You woulsn't find much at Virginia Beach resort beach as it is heavily detected. Even if you had gone to Chesapeake Bay area beaches, finds would have been limited. Also heavily detected. Hope you had an enjoyable trip and stay.
We stay in the sandbridge area of virginia beach. It's more of a private beach for locals and condo renters. It was a awesome place to vacation. And a well needed time away. We went up to Virginia Beach itself on saturday. Alot of people were there and we found alot of change. Seen no detectorist besides ourselves. We had a great time away even though the finds were limited.
@@mikekeeferwithaqualandreli4711 so your title and talk are accidentally misleading? I am fully aware of Sandbridge and it is a public not private beach. Sandbridge is a community and I do not think it wise to tell those locals they live in Virginia Beach., regardless of what the maps say. The old timers will offer to take you shark fishing with you as bait. Glad you stayed there and not Norfolk. Off my soap box. Sorry for anger, but I cannot stand inaccuracies.
I am from Louisville ,Kentucy In 1886 I live in Virginia Beach. I lost High School Ring. High school is Atherton High School. If anyone finds it, post it on UA-cam. Thank you
We were down there on vacation. But will for sure keep that in mind. We have actually found 3 class rings so far and have returned all three to rightful owners. You can see one of the returns in a previous video of ours. Thanks for watching

Having a rough day Rebecca ? Sorry we don’t know Virginia like you do. Never meant to offend the Christopher Columbus of Virginia.
I will give ya some good news, we do have a dislike button . Be sure to hit that as your feedback does help our channel tremendously !
@@AquaLandRelics Rough day yes. Bad Aspergers day. Sorry to show my asshole side
Great video and at least it’s easier digging in sand
Yes much easier. But still a little disappointing. We had these couple days marked on the calendar for months. Always next time. Thanks for watching
Take me back to the beach 😣😣😣😣
Yep love the beach life. ❤
Nice🥰🙏
Thank you
Did you paint your detector shaft or did you buy it ?
