Honestly anything before Lionel was better. My favorite all time was Team Caliber or Action with the opening hoods. I liked Team Calibers packaging design most. Hot wheels probably had the best molds that didn't ding up or scratch
Best 1/24s were obviously Action. The standards were better than the elites we have today sometimes. The elite Actions were best overall. Team Caliber Owner Series close 2nd
Matchbox from 1993 to 1996 T Bird Stock #16 and #17, t Bird Stock #4, T Bird Stock # 11 are very fast, I think they released many more, I have several of these models and they are very, very fast together with the Pro's hot wheels I think they are the fastest for speed races of 20 feet or more
I love that brand of hot wheels especially from Nascar, which is featured so much in the 2002 Nascar Thunder game haha. I loved that hot wheels especially brought out the Haulers.
Wow, I could listen to you talk about HotWheels NASCAR diecast for hours! They really are the best to ever be made! My two all time favorite diecasts are Kurt's Sharpe and Irwin Tools #97 from HotWheels, absolutely incredible pieces. I love Winner's Circle as well, but something special about HotWheels! I remember the days as a kid seeing Walmart and Kmart loaded with diecasts! Those were the days for sure.

I just started collecting recently, and I am hooked on the Action Racing diecasts. They made so many cool products; from the standard gold and platinum series 1:64’s to the specialty products such as the Pepsi can Gordon or Pennzoil filter Steve Park.
@@Diecastbuffet the Cars 2 diecast weren't as high quality as the Cars 1 and I don't know anything about the Cars 3 diecast, I've got a shoe box full of Cars diecast, I even have a limited edition KMART exclusive with rubber tires!
There problem was winners circle had all the big name drivers. I didn't realize how good hotwheels was until I was getting for $1 at the flea market. I got a 1/24 mark martin viagra car. It has a sticker that says adult collectable. I got it for $7 somewhere
2 pegs now yep and they are always empty now back when hotwheels was doing it you had 6 to 8 pegs full most of the time but now ....shit can't find anything
They actually gave a crap about quality control too was the best part. Lionel and their quality as of late, pisses me off BEYOND WORDS! #sticktotrainslionel
If they made modern NASCAR Premiums then I’d buy them regularly. They still make premium vintage NASCAR’s and Trans Am cars but nothing modern. I received a number of the vintage cars as Christmas gifts and they look amazing, so I can’t imagine how good they could make the current cars look.
Funny they were the lesser quality diecasts then but still were way better than what we got today. Their chase the race versions and the rotating wind tunnel packaging was great

I'd like to know what do you think about the old action 1/64 release that I only discovedered some days ago but I haven't yet one in my hand. I refer to the action with rubber tyres, metal base and hood and tailgate can be opened. I saw that action made a tons of model and series (elite edition - full concept....) and they have a ton of livery. What do you think about that in comparison with these hot wheels nascar produced from 1998 to 2004/5. Thank you. P. S. In the past did ever a video with that action model? If yes, I can't find it. @@lucamaqdf72 I personally prefer cars that aren’t fragile like the hot wheels ones, the hood opening action ones can be more fragile due to moving parts. And I haven’t done a video specifically on the action cars
I had a Jeff burton 03 hotwheels select car with opening hood and very detailed chassis and all over the absolute best car I've ever had also had a 1999 Jeff burton hauler that was color chrome that even the trailer was metal it was freaking bad ass hot wheels had some very very detailed cars too those nascar select by hotwheels I think it was called they were about 3 or 4 dollars higher but very worth it I wish I still had them I had a 2000 and 2003 Jeff burton and the 1999 hauler so bad ass I'm like you I wish they'd get back in the sport because now omg it would be the best
@@Diecastbuffet me to bro hot wheels made the best cars by far I had them all from the practice cars to the sets to the selects man back then roush was my favorite team and I was die-cast happy ....I wish I still had all those cars but I lost them all and bro talk about one heartbroken dude I was still am I ain't got completely over it ...I had even built a oak curio cabinet with glass doors to display my favorites an its all gone my entire collection from 1985 to 2011 all gone ....I started back littby little and I have some cars now but not like I had with all my old cars my Davey Allison collection was my baby I had all his cars from the start some worth hundreds of dollars too all my hotwheels race cars too ....and now Lionel is so damn slow can't find. Anything and when they do drop scalpers by them so fast they gone soon as I get to the store and I hate pre-order cause you'll either wait a year to get it or they cancel it that Davey Allison tribute car # 28 this year I about pre ordered it and I said shit I'll make a custom of it or even a Davey paint scheme on a mustang and already have it and won't get surprised paint chips or the grill or headlights all ganked up lol

the last few they made were a #10 Scott Riggs Valvoline car promoting the movie Cars and a few Danica Patrick 2010 Nationwide Series cars

Its a shame Hot Wheels dosent do NASCAR anymore, it'd be awesome to see them nowadays as a Premium line

Currently no NASCAR 1/64’s are made with rubber tires. There was some made in 2021, they’re called “metal chassis” versions
