    I would very much like to see an install video of the Ris iii rail!

    My choice of quad rail is the Midwest drop in it’s good on the wallet good lockup and decent look running one on m110 clone (needs filing to fit on ar10 receiver)

    I put a RIS II on my M16A5 build and it greatly increased accuracy over the M5 RAS. I don't think the RIS III is compatible with a rifle length gas system w/ FSB since it's slightly longer (12.55 inches) than the RIS II (12.25). The RIS II already goes all the way up to FSB w/ a tiny gap.

      It states it 12.5 inches, and I’ve see pics of people running them on rifle length systems. I will see though. I want the Ris III for the mlok

    Dude that build is actually sick. I wouldn't change out the rail, it really contributes to the vibe. Which Griffin can is that? I'm seriously considering one of their cans. I'd like to get the .30cal version of the M4SD.

      This is the RECCE 5k, it’s pretty solid. I love how light it is. Yes the rail contributes, but when you see it on the 20 inch and you see the RIS on here. I think you’re gonna understand why I changed it

      @@rifleshooterchannel208 that’s what Windham/ bushmaster weaponry made. Which they branded a dissipator. Colt made the 605. Bushmaster took it and called it the dissipator.
      Yes I called you narrow, because you can’t have any fun with anything.

      @@rifleshooterchannel208 see this is why no one like you. If you bothered to read. It says 605 in the title.

    I got my M5 copy from Brownell's. I think you may not like the weight of the R3.

      @shootintheshtpodcast  5 місяців тому +1

      No, I know it’s heavier than most Mlok rails. But I have a feeling it will be a good high grade replacement for the RAS

      @@shootintheshtpodcast It's the logical update. The MI-20xxm is is 11.4oz with barrel nut, and the RIS II FSP is 17.4oz with hardware. The R3 12.5" is very close in weight to the R2 FSP. The M5 is around 15oz with the delta ring and cap so my initial weight comment may actually be much less than I thought. Thanks for motivating me to actually compare the weights. I do enjoy your content. Do you still have the Midwest 2-piece rifle length M-lok rail?

      @@BillyWillicker yes I still have the 2 piece it’s on my 13.9 I had it cerakoted. I like that rail. I just really want to try out the ris III. My friend has a DDM4 with a RIS III and good lord it’s so light.
