@@scannerz1986 of course not. Watch live versions from Freddie. How many emotions, passion, pain are in them. This song is the suffering of his soul. Great song. Mark is great. I just adore you two. Freddie died in 1991. This video was done in 1975. There is no autotune Or anything just pure talent. The song was 6 years in the making and while recording the music and the video the other members of queen had no idea what Freddie was thinking But Freddie hsd s vidion and knew what he wanted. The record label did not want to put the song on, which can be found on the album night at the opera, because it's 6 minutes long. They also didn't think any radio station would play it because it was 6 minutes long. The band stuck with their guns And history was made. I remember in high school The late 70's every time I turned on the radio I was really hoping to hear bohemian rhapsody and when it did come on, oh there was a party in the car. Lots of head banging. The song experienced a resurgence when it was in Wayne's world. The 1st part explains that he killed someone and that he won't be back (suicide) [Many take this to me he was coming to terms with his sexuality and that he was killing off his old self to become his new self which was someone who accepted his sexuality]. Ⅱ part is he's passing into the afterlife where the demons and angels fight to decide which way he is going to go, upper down, the rock bit at the end is the final fight back to redeem himself, but he concludes that he failed bye his own standards (He didn't care about anything) An that whatever they decided is fair (Anyway the wind blows). That's my interpretation. I think if you look it up on Wikipedia even queen says they don't know what the song means And most believe that it is open to interpretation. All four members of queen I have written #1 hit song and all have degrees. Lead guitarist Brian may has Lead guitarist Brian May Is an astrophysicists and holds a PhD thesis on speed of light reflection from dust in our solar system
Thanks so much for all the great info. I think Freddie may have been describing his own personal battle to who is truly was, but he presented it in such a way that other people could relate to it to. Kind of letting them know that they aren’t alone. It’s a magnificent piece of work. Glad you enjoyed Lesa & keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Freddie Mercury: Greatest entertainer on stage, the best singer ever and an incredible Songwriter (e.g. Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Killer Queen, We are the Champions) . Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favorite songs.
Adam Lambert isn't actually an official member of Queen, he's a guest singer. Queen Productions has 4 shareholders - Brian May, John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury's estate.

Years and years ago, not long after Queen began getting popular, a reporter asked Freddie Mercury why he hadn't gotten his overbite taken care of. And the whole reason why was because he sincerely believed that if he did that, it would have a negative affect on his voice, and he wouldn't be able to sing as well.

Queen also had Paul Rodgers, the lead singer of Bad Company and Free as a stand in singer for a while. He was quite impressive as well. And I think Queen also played some songs from Free and Bad Company while he was with them
Check out 'innuendo'. A pure Queen epic, amazing video and a song about contemplating life, death and meaning. The last albums were so full of trying to fix the world, come to terms with everything going on, and leaving one hell of a legacy of course ✌ It's also queen's longest single release, longer than even bohemian rhapsody and even more epic, debuted at No 1 in the UK and was released in 1991. Also, the song 'Mother Love' which was the last song Freddie did with Queen, Bryan May sings the last verse as the song was finished after Freddie died. Such a fitting last song. ❤Freddie❤ Much love grannies, keep on rocking ✌
Firstly it's nice too see some of the older generation enjoying music that we'll have enjoyed first time around. Regarding the opening and closing of the video that was all Freddie singing,he did the backing track,he knew exactly how he wanted it too sound, there's a programme you can find on UA-cam,it's about how this song came about, and it's with Dr Brian May ( Guitar) with the original notes Freddie had written, and the old reel of the song. I can tell you that Dr Brian May along with Roger Taylor (drums) are still playing as part of Queen and can be found on their own UA-cam channels and social media account's,however John Deacon (Bass) retired from public life in 1997 six years after Freddie died, they were all like brothers but it seemed to hit John hard, they did three more things together from 1991 when Freddie died aged 45 until 1997 when they recorded a song for Freddie,Dr Brian May had written it a few years beforehand, but it took on a new meaning by the time they recorded it,they did it after the Diana Princess of Wales died and the clothes designer Gianni Versace both of whom Freddie and Queen knew
Bohemian Rhapsody if my memory is right has now been a chart hit in 3 different decades. The 70's when it came out, the 90's when Waynes World used it and then the 2010's with the Queen biopic movie.
Paul Rodgers of Bad Company made a couple records and did a few concerts with Queen. Then Adam Lambert performed with Queen on and off, but as far as I know, Queen has never formally added a permanent fourth.
Brian (Dr. Brian May, lead guitarist) has been doing some cool stuff on Instagram through the plague times. He's a really friendly guy, likes interacting with their fans. :)
Hey Grannies just tripped & fell into your channel 😂 Oh my, are you ready for the Queen Rabbit Hole? Must do SOMEBODY TO LOVE live in Montreal 1981. Btw, Freddie loved cats had about ten of them. LOL Hello from a Grannie in California, USA. Love Love Love QUEEN!! My 3 yr old Granddaughter sings WE WILL ROCK YOU, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, RADIO GA GA, ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST, the EYES song (Bohemian Rhapsody) Hahahahaha!!
Queen was a band that truly deserves the title Unique..others claim it ...they proved it . !!There will never be another Front man with as much charisma, talent , and sheer musical integrity that Freddie and Queen has. They truly were to Rock -Pop music what Mozart was to classical. RIP Freddie you are a LEGEND. And Merry Christmas Grannies! You really should try the Queen live in Montreal video of "Somebody to Love" It is phenomenal.
Freddie only did all the harmonies in the opening part. In the “operatic section”, it’s Freddie, Roger and Brian - with Roger hitting the highest notes ( “Galileo” and “for meeeeeee” for example)... In the video, John is just lip-syncing, as he was not confident about his voice generally
I was a freshman in high school living in a small town in western Colorado when I bought this album. Absolutely one of the best produced albums of its time. Keep up the good work ladies. Your awesome!
Ah, I remember listening to this in my room as a kid. My mother hated rock music, so I’d listen to Queen, Judas Priest, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, and Sammy Hagar. Now, my son is grown, and we go to concerts together. Queen and AC/DC were the first two bands that he would listen to consistently. Thank you ladies for showing all those youngins that you’re never too old to bang your head. Love you guys.
Fredie passed 24 November 1991. Can't believe it's been nearly 30 years. I was 11 when this song came out. I'll never forget the first time I heard it.
Freddie Mercury Died of Bronchopneumonia as a complication of AIDS on the 24 November 1991 peacefully in his home in London, England, he was 45 years old. This year marks 29 years since he died and there has never been another singer like him. The other band members are Roger Taylor (drummer) Brian May (guitarist) and John Deacon (bassist). John left and retired a few years after Freddie died and Queen is still together with Brian and Roger and the new singer Adam Lambert making them Queen + Adam Lambert. Brian confirmed that Queen has always been Him, Roger, John and Freddie and said it feels disrespectful to replace Freddie. The Band still tour.
Very good choice. Always loved this song. Video from end of 75. It was number 1 in the UK for 9 weeks. Freddie passed away November 1991. On the same day Eric Carr the drummer of Kiss passed away too. Please do a reaction to Queen at Live Aid. Best band on the day.
Love Queen, been a fan since the 70’s, seen Queen in concert too, near Freddie and his piano, smaller venue!! He’s the first celebrity I took a picture of. RIP Freddie! ❤️
The people in the Hardee's drive thru in town got to see 4 generations of women in my family sing and rock out to this song. My mother who is 77, my sister who is 57, myself who is 43 and my daughter who is 22. This song is timeless.
Freddy passed away on 24th November 1991 at he's home and this song like many others songs by them are iconic and so memorable as soon as you hear them, you just want to sing along RIP Freddy
Fun fact: this is the only song to hit top ten on the Billboard chart twice _over a decade apart,_ in 1976 and then in 1991/2. The car scene in Wayne's World made it a bigger hit in the US than it was the first time around! Mike Myers sent Freddie a tape of the scene before the film was released, and Freddie loved it. A fitting tribute just before the end.
The initial harmonization at the beginning of this song was all Freddie, harmonizing with himself. According to the other members of the band he had this entire song laid out in his head when he first approached them about it, but would only let them work on it in bits, so they really didn't lnow what the whole song would sound like until the very end. If you were to delve a bit into Queen's discography, and I don't mean just the big hits, you would be very surprised at the breadth of music types they covered over their 20 year career as a foursome. They were pioneers and experimenters and still have an enormous fan base. From White Queen to Cool Cat, there are many surprises.
Paul Rogers from Bad Company stepped in for a few years about 20 years ago. He put his own spin on the vocals rather than try to sound like Freddie and he did a phenomenal job.
I'm so glad I got to see Freddie live, stood just about 30 feet from the stage while they performed this song in the mid 70's. Wondeful memory from my youth.
You guys should watch the acapella version by Pentatonix. It's amazing how they use just their voices to make the sounds of the instruments in the song. It's really amazing.
I saw Queen + Adam Lambert live in Nashville a few years ago and he really is a wonderful addition to the band. They had Paul Rodgers (from Free and Bad Company) singing lead before Adam, and it was bad. He didn't actually sing the songs in tune, probably because he couldn't actually hit those high notes that Freddie was so good at. Adam isn't Freddie, but he really does justice to Queen's music in a way that I think would make Freddie proud.
Well... I think you have to watch the movie in order to find out what Brian, Roger and Dicky thought about this song when that "Guy" came along with that idea! I saw then in 2019 in Central Park with Adam and believe me... It was Emotional and Magical!!!!!! #HaveAWonderfulYear React to some Queen Live Performances! By the way he passed away on November 24th 1991
You might like Bloodywood. They are a indian street metal group. They have four original songs so far i think. The four videos I’ve seen are on current topics like dealing with depression(jee veerey), dealing with bullying(endurant), dealing with the loss of a pet(Yaad) and Rioting or something like that( Machi Bhasad). They are all great songs.
He passed away in November 1991 so 29 years ago now. Apparently Mike myers wanted to use bo rap in Wayne's world but wanted permission and got it, Freddie was very sick at this point and Myers wanted to show him the film for his approval and he loved it.

Queen also had Paul Rodgers, the lead singer of Bad Company and Free as a stand in singer for a while. He was quite impressive as well. And I think Queen also played some songs from Free and Bad Company while he was with them
Thanks for the info. We had no idea. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
I love you ladies. Merry Christmas and thank you.
Merry Christmas to you too Robert. You’re welcome and keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Thank you. Merry Christmas to you both.
No, thanks to you Eric. Merry Christmas and keep on rocking babies. 🎶🖤✌🏻🤘🏻
Check out 'innuendo'. A pure Queen epic, amazing video and a song about contemplating life, death and meaning. The last albums were so full of trying to fix the world, come to terms with everything going on, and leaving one hell of a legacy of course ✌
It's also queen's longest single release, longer than even bohemian rhapsody and even more epic, debuted at No 1 in the UK and was released in 1991.
Also, the song 'Mother Love' which was the last song Freddie did with Queen, Bryan May sings the last verse as the song was finished after Freddie died. Such a fitting last song. ❤Freddie❤
Much love grannies, keep on rocking ✌
Thanks Casey for all the great info. Queen will never be duplicated. They are a once in a lifetime event. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
Thanks Sandra for all of the interesting info. Have a great, safe & blessed New Year & keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🖤
Have you listened to Brian Justin Crumb sing Creep....oh my goodness, it will make you get goosebumps!!
He has an incredible story. You should read it.
Adam Lambert is now the lead singer for Queen....
Thanks and keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🖤🤘🏻
Bohemian Rhapsody if my memory is right has now been a chart hit in 3 different decades. The 70's when it came out, the 90's when Waynes World used it and then the 2010's with the Queen biopic movie.
Thanks Mel. We appreciate your info. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
FINALLY!! FOR US ROCKIN GRANDMAS
YAY!!!❤❤❤
🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Literally grew up with Queen 70s&80s bicycle song one of my fav,s Keep rocking GRANNY'S 😈🤘
🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Paul Rodgers of Bad Company made a couple records and did a few concerts with Queen. Then Adam Lambert performed with Queen on and off, but as far as I know, Queen has never formally added a permanent fourth.
Thanks for the info Brian. Very interesting. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Happy New Year. I'm a granny too, and I love Queen, and I adore Freddie. Thanks for the reaction.
Happy New Year Normala. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
Brian (Dr. Brian May, lead guitarist) has been doing some cool stuff on Instagram through the plague times. He's a really friendly guy, likes interacting with their fans. :)

Great suggestion. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Thanks for your suggestions Debra & keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Thanks so much for your suggestion and Happy Holidays to you too. We agree, nobody can top Freddie Mercury. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Merry Christmas to you both
Freddie does the harmonies himself.
Thank you for this Reaction
Merry Christmas and thanks for the info. Keep on rocking babies. 🖤✌🏻🤘🏻🎶
Yes, but only in the intro
Freddie only did all the harmonies in the opening part. In the “operatic section”, it’s Freddie, Roger and Brian - with Roger hitting the highest notes ( “Galileo” and “for meeeeeee” for example)... In the video, John is just lip-syncing, as he was not confident about his voice generally
I was a freshman in high school living in a small town in western Colorado when I bought this album. Absolutely one of the best produced albums of its time. Keep up the good work ladies. Your awesome!
Merry Christmas Granny and Nana!
Merry Christmas to you too. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Thanks for the kind words Don. Glad your son learned to love this music too. It’s actually timeless. Rock on babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
Scared-a-moosh!!! Hahahaha. Excellent! Merry Christmas to you both!
Merry Christmas to you too Vicky. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Fredie passed 24 November 1991. Can't believe it's been nearly 30 years. I was 11 when this song came out. I'll never forget the first time I heard it.
Good memories for you, I’m glad. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Great reaction ladies. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
Merry Christmas to you too and keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Brian May wrote the Bohemian Rhapsody guitar solo
Beautiful. Thanks for the info and keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
I Love so much this rock band
I honestly live to watch people seeing Freddie for the first time, that's my life now
He was phenomenal. 💯💯💯
@@nanaking9560 yes he was
Very good choice. Always loved this song. Video from end of 75. It was number 1 in the UK for 9 weeks. Freddie passed away November 1991. On the same day Eric Carr the drummer of Kiss passed away too. Please do a reaction to Queen at Live Aid. Best band on the day.
Thanks for your suggestion and for the info. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🤘🏻🖤
Love Queen, been a fan since the 70’s, seen Queen in concert too, near Freddie and his piano, smaller venue!! He’s the first celebrity I took a picture of. RIP Freddie! ❤️
You had camera in 70's?
I was in 8th grade when this came out in the spring of 1976.
✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
That voice!! This was released on October 31, 1975!
Magnificent voice. 🎶✌🏻🤘🏻🖤
Freddie was one of a kind, never forgotten gorgeous human ❤️
Amen. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY. Keep on rocking babies. 🤘🏻🖤🎶✌🏻
Yeah. That's a good one.
🎶✌🏻🤘🏻🖤
I think you're such cool ladies!
Proud to be a member of the Granny Squad!
Merry Christmas to you, much love from the Netherlands :)
Greetings to the Netherlands. We’re so glad to know that you’re a member of the Granny Squad. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
A very Merry Christmas to you and yours! ✝️🎄✨😘😘😘😘
And the same to you babies and keep on rocking. 🖤✌🏻🤘🏻🎶
The people in the Hardee's drive thru in town got to see 4 generations of women in my family sing and rock out to this song. My mother who is 77, my sister who is 57, myself who is 43 and my daughter who is 22. This song is timeless.
This is absolutely awesome. 4 generations is a beautiful thing & this song will live on forever. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Freddy passed away on 24th November 1991 at he's home and this song like many others songs by them are iconic and so memorable as soon as you hear them, you just want to sing along RIP Freddy
You really do want to sing with them. Queen has so much natural energy. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
My first exposure to this song was the car scene in Wayne's World. I was 8 years old at the time.
I’m sure you’ll never forget it either. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🤘🏻🖤
Same
Fun fact: this is the only song to hit top ten on the Billboard chart twice _over a decade apart,_ in 1976 and then in 1991/2.
The car scene in Wayne's World made it a bigger hit in the US than it was the first time around!
Mike Myers sent Freddie a tape of the scene before the film was released, and Freddie loved it. A fitting tribute just before the end.
@@Roguefem76 That's actually a fact I didn't know! That's really cool. Sort of makes me appreciate the song even more.
Merry Christmass ladies! More Queen songs please.
Brian May wrote the Bohemian Rhapsody guitar solo
Merry Christmas to you too and keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Thanks for all of the info Betsey & keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
Paul Rogers from Bad Company stepped in for a few years about 20 years ago. He put his own spin on the vocals rather than try to sound like Freddie and he did a phenomenal job.
✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
I'm so glad I got to see Freddie live, stood just about 30 feet from the stage while they performed this song in the mid 70's. Wondeful memory from my youth.
You guys should watch the acapella version by Pentatonix. It's amazing how they use just their voices to make the sounds of the instruments in the song. It's really amazing.
Thanks for the info and the suggestion. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
November 24, 1991 at 41 years young! Rip Freddie! 🙏❤️
He was 45.
I’m sure Freddie would be very proud of Adam Lamberts addition to Queen. He’s amazing. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🖤🤘🏻
Queen can put many of their songs on the radio today and would go over!
You’re so right Joe. They’re absolutely timeless. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
One of the greatest rock songs ever, period.
ABSOLUTELY. ✌🏻🎶🖤🤘🏻
Thanks for all the info Miguel & keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🖤🤘🏻🎶
Freddie passed away in November of 1991.
RIP Freddie. Rock on babies. ✌🏻🖤🤘🏻🎶
Beautiful story. Keep on rocking babies. 🎶✌🏻🖤🤘🏻
The opening of the song was just beautiful Freddie on his own the other members of the band were miming
Freddie passed on the 24th of November 1991.
Thanks for the info and keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶🤘🏻🖤
Well done , another great pick ladies ... 🤘❤🤘 hope you had a great Christmas 🎄
