@@Feercholain The honor is mine, my friend. I agree about the anthemic side. Most of their long epics are musicly metal symphonies to me which I believe are at the highest artistic level (among some genius classical composers' work) in music history. Beautiful melodies, beautiful transitions, beautiful instrumentalizations all coming together in perfect harmony to form a beautiful track. I especially love their melodic riffs (usually other than the main riff) which they generally use as bridges to solos. That doesn't mean I don't like any of their shorter banger songs (I might be a little pickier than most other fans, but still) but their long epics are the #1 reason they're my favorite band.

No other band did that to me, and i love it. Other favorites of mine are Paschendale, infinite dreams, When the wild wind blows, No more lies, Sign of the Cross, The clansman. So many epics!!

Yeah Maiden... My Mom she's around 70 and My Dad 77. When a left home in my early twenties... Never told me anything bad about the Type of Music I listened... Scorpions, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Helloween, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax... all Death Metal of the 90's. Till this's Day they told me the house it's not the same, it's empty!!!

I finally got to see them in 2018. I was 48. They are like in their late 50s -60 at the time I believe and they were moving around on stage like they were still in their 20's. I sure couldn't keep that level of activity up as long as they did during that show.

Another great reaction video! I've seen Iron Maiden 11 times now. (Starting in 1984) Saw them last summer and took my (then) 11 year old grand-daughter. She loved this song. There are no words for the raw power and energy of tens of thousands of people singing this..... PS.... My 3 year old grand-son thinks the song is called "Fear of the Duck". I've been trying to teach him to quack along to the chorus. True story.....
    Keep the videos coming ladies!!

If you want to react to more Iron Maiden, may I suggest one of the following songs?
    The Number of the Beast
    Hallowed Be Thy Name
    2 Minutes to Midnight
    The Trooper
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
    Brave New World
    Paschendale
They have a ton of other great songs too, so you really can't go wrong (unless maybe you went with something from the Blaze Bayley days).

I've only got to see Iron Maiden once, but it was phenominal. The energy in the arena was electric, people were singing along with the songs and when they came on for the encore and started playing Fear of the Dark the whole place erupted, then it did so again for Run to the Hills and Number of the Beast. Maiden are just one of those bands that you have to see live if you're a fan of their music and I'm glad I did because it was out-bloody-standing.

Well, now, in 2020, I´m still listening to Iron Maiden AND, I think, my mother finally understands, now, that it´s all about the appreciation of music, not the man downstairs :-)

I love that you ladies are doing this. My mom took me to Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Metallica and Dio concerts when I wasn't old enough to get to LA to see them on my own. She really didn't care for the music too much, but loved me enough to put up with it because I loved it. It also showed her that these bands weren't evil or demonic like Tipper Gore wanted everyone to believe back in the 80's. Thank you.
