Bandai has a ton of potential with the new 30mm sets. They just need to get them out there. I deal with a Gunpla store that says they have to buy in bulk, and not allowed to choose a smaller rounded selection. I've also never seen Ciel or Rabiot locally, just Alto and Portonova. Great review Mecha!
This is so simple but effective, and it definitely has lots of customization potential! The fact that an action base is adaptable also blew my mind. lol
You could definitely swap the left and right walls and have the holes on the inside and the pegs outside so you can do a more hanger like setup with all the weapons for a particular mecha
I've seen this a couple of days before but I never really got any sort of intention of getting this hangar back then. Still prefer the Bandai's System Base series for HG/RG as I can adjust the angle of display as if I'm reenacting the storage scene in the Pegasus hangar of the first Gundam. However, your idea of using the wall pieces as a weapon display rack caught my attention. Guess I'll at least buy two of these for a bit of experimenting.
@@honestmistake8167 that's right. Go over the assembly instructions and check that everything is on the right way, I guess. It's deceptively easy to get it wrong sometimes.
I have a few of those angled launch/repair bay bases they put out originally, but their layout makes a nice side-by-side display tricky to pull off. I wish they had these all along, I'd but like a dozen!
what a novel idea to use the truss for a cool storage/display stand for the extra gear and accessory that some kits have.. will definitely get a couple of these, maybe more if I can find them..
Can the peg for the stands fit into the holes on this? If so, you could also mount these to the wall and then use the arms from the stands to mount your models in flight/fight poses on the wall.
I personally like the Bandai Hobby EXP003 System Base it's around the same price but it has adjustable 'bed' and hooks to hang weapons on. But these seem pretty nice as well, I may have to give them a shot.
@@soras7183 Thats the issue for me, i cant stand HG kits and only go for MG or above :( Finding good hangars is difficult without 3d printing or custom building an entire gantry
Very cool and I love the intercompatibility between Bandai kits. However, I see two things that bug me. First, the MS seems claustrophobically placed inside these. In an awkward way too. Second, when you place a normal MS without a large backpack/wings/binders all the way to the back, the walkways are too far away for a "realistic" look. (Not sure if they can be moved in or not). Either way, they look neat.
I wonder if this are earthquake proof given thing will fall apart eventually regardless if your planning on literally i meam literally cover the whole house plys not no mention like you said as a storage rack? Will it handle the pressure And weight on all gunpla only time can tell bwuhaha.
Every time you say 3mm I think lego c-clips and rods. Also that time I got a 50 pack of lollipops because the plastic sticks were 3mm too and cheaper than Lego.
Mecha praising the holes and pegs so much it sounded like innuendo in my head. And then he said "Anything Japanese" as if all Japanese men are 3mm made me laugh way too hard. I know we're small but damn, that's just too funny for me. Edit: Nevermind. Everything in this video can be taken out of context very easily and will always be funny for me.
this is a short video, i would love to see your work load lessen, why not add things you "remember" mid video as ad ons like the Ruined City, next to main content as comparatives in a mutual review video.
This definitely would be very useful for HG and RG kits; regardless of how big they are. Good stuff.
HG neo zeong?
@xxnike629xx Would that be useful too for *BOXES* ? 🤔

It really is a shame that bamco doesn't do full international releases.
Really hard to get 30mm & 30ms kit at my country unless u PO it. Most only have alto & portanova in stock here. I really want the spinatio sengoku
This is so simple but effective, and it definitely has lots of customization potential!

Got this last week and it’s pretty kickass for my unicorn can’t wait to try what you’ve demonstrated in this vid
Merry Christmas Mecha!
Modular kits like these are equally important to up the display of gunplas. Or else they’ll be in ground poses for years!
You could definitely swap the left and right walls and have the holes on the inside and the pegs outside so you can do a more hanger like setup with all the weapons for a particular mecha
I’m gonna buy two more!
Finally, a hangar that I can buy multiple. Hopefully they eventually release one for the MG line
Just buy 4 and use it for MG.
Man I finally found my hobby.. and to think I thought I was too old for this at only 30
You could probably drill holes in the hard points for LEDs to fit

You reminded me of have an Action Stand on the way for my MG Epyon. Can't wait to get it in.
Is it me or is he really excited about these truss Base? LOL. They are pretty cool. I'm sold
I got a Black Portanova for christmas, and I gotta say, as my first ever model kit, I think I did well at building it!
One of us! One of us!
@@mattb154 the pieces on the leg joints that connect them to the crotch keeps on falling off, do you know how to fix that?
@@honestmistake8167 Did you maybe forget a polycap? Or perhaps you cut off some material from the polycap by mistake?

Hi mecha! Always support you from Malaysia !
Nice, now just need one for 1/100
Omg, I was legit just looking at hangars
Merry Christmas Mecha! Can you please review the PG Zeta Gundam
Merry Christmas!!!🎄🎁🎊🎉

Merry Christmas and happy holidays
ive been thinking of suing the 30mm bases to create 40k terrain and this is def gonna be the first one i try it with
You just gave me a lot of ideas thanks Mecha Gaikotsu

I foresee a remade Archangel ship that holds 1/144 being done
i wish they make a mg bersion of this
Merry Christmas MechaGai.. Those mecha hanger.. love it..

this would be really useful on my shelf
Merry Christmas 🎄 mecha
Gonna use this for the HG GN00s
Merry Christmas boys
I want to see Bandai make a Gunpla combat arena.
Besides 30MM kits and Gunpla, it also works well for displaying Figma.
Wish we had more options for MG
The spare accesories racj seems kinda neat ngl
THANK YOU I WAS LOOKING FOR THIs
Curious to know, would those work with a MG if you build up a double level of them with 2 or 3 boxes worth of gantries?
Yes but wouldn’t look as good
@@soras7183 Worth a try then with a few upgrades using plasticard and spare parts. Might look into that.

This would make a great RG MK-II in construction diorama
What's the name of that purple double decker base stand in the beginning? I really wanna know
Amazing for my Gunpla
Zabanya reborn custom with super Fences bit intensifies
Are these ok to use with MG sized gunpla?
When will you do hg slaughter dagger review
buy those 1/144 scale human figures of the maintenance crew and watch the magic unfold!
these are way better than the previous ones simply because it is rectangular
the hexagonal shape of the previous bases just dont work for me
Good thing about the old ones though is that we now have a square base to use them with.
I bought a couple of those!
Where mecha gaikotsu says "HANGAR"
but i personally called "PRISON"
Looks nice.... if I have HG collection. Unfortunately mine are mostly MG.
Christmas should be in Char colors. It would be 3 times better
I actually have this and it cool
someone is gonna make an entire mech using the hangar parts arent they?

You can modify so that it works for you. I’m willing to bet that they work for 1/100 as well if you buy 4 or 5 of these.
I've had success with putting grey paper behind it.
Can you do a review for the real grade char zaku II
What is mic that you use in this video . ?
that gundam display looks like for evangalion
Can they hold 1/100 gundam model kits?
Will there be a 1/100 ver?
dang i need 50 of these
There's an Unicorn Mode HG Unicorn Gundam you didn't review yet, would you try and give it a go?
does anyone know if this will fit the 1/100 scales?
Hey Mecha you should do a review on the Amazing Strike Freedom gundam from Gundam Build Fighters AR
How come you don't have the Barbataurus? I live in the US and got off on Amazon
This looks cool
Happy Chrism

Yes, just buy 4-6 and mod them to fit your needs
Great info! God bless!
I got the brand new barbatourus kit
Sis, please review the Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam Stargazer series
drinking game, take a shot everytime he says "hole"
Unicorn OST plays in the background
waiting for bandai to make a clear display case

theres also no reason you that 30mm couldnt do addon kits for these to add more variation to the hangerbays
lmao these things look like those god damn milk crates, its a bit too "holey" for my taste
Guess who's ordering like 40 of these.
Looks kool. You think one could attach these together and then directly to the wall for storage and display?
Darnit! I miss it! Oh well second!
I like this Truss Base!
Edit: Nevermind. 10th
Ok but i would need an mg version of this to make it work lol
What about MG

I need a cheap gundam
Honestly, I don't quite like it, mainly due to the fact that it doesn't match the shape of the AB4/5s and can't connect to them
