8:30 damn it... you made me realize it. The marketing of the IBO line is basically just barbies. you get the base item, and then you can buy tons of accessories for it. Even builders parts had a better sense of professionalism/lego like nature at times.
The Tomytec buildings are super cool, I have a few of them myself. You can also pick up pre-painted n-scale figures, street lights and signs, and vehicles from HLJ, along with street pieces to really add to the look.
For adding weathering details, I recommend graphite powder + a little bit of water, I used it on a Leo (which eventually died to fall damage by dog tail). It works REALLY well for shields, file a groove in the part and put graphite in said groove, add some sharpie, and boom, free beam saber damage.
I imagine that factory set could really be brought to the next level if you snapped a few of those roof structures roughly in two, got some scale appropriate flame or explosion effects, maybe something like similar scale tanker truck, and some orange and/or red LEDs.
you dont even need to put alot of glue to hold the parts together just a drop here and there should be fine. i would say the buildings are half done as far as destruction goes they look to be newly destroyed buildings not alot of age destruction aspects to them like grime or rust. if i was using these i would go one of two routes for additional painting, black marks for scorching from stuff like blasters, beam sabers, or explosives. or grime and rust for stuff like aging the building.
Plastic model buildings? NICE! The display possibilities are endless! Gundam battle dioramas, Transformers battle dioramas, Super Sentai/Power Ranger dioramas, Ultraman dioramas, My Little Pony dioramas, Ultraman dioramas, People throwing buildings at each other dioramas, history dioramas, etc. If someone does end up making a custom Gunpla out of these building parts though, my mind would blow up.
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for all your videos. I've based pretty much all of my gunpla choices on your judgement, and I haven't been disappointed at all. Ver.Ka Sazabi and Nu Gundam rest right on my desk's top shelf, and Ver.Ka Sinanju Stein is mid progress. Keep up the great work. Love the videos.
@Mechagaikotsu you should tell HLJ that their sponsorship in your channel is well worth it. I started buying from them because of you. I plan to make them my exclusive store to buy hobbies unless they don't sell an item that I have to find elsewhere. Actually I wish I could buy P-Bandai from HLJ. Love the vids
Surprised more gunpla channels don't cover the Tomytec buildings, they're great for dioramas, and Tomytec has a wide assortment of both commercial and residential buildings and option parts like street lamps, signs, and figures. It'd be cool if you covered more of these in the future. I was able to put together a pretty cool nightlife street scene with pachinko, a hotel, bar, and restaurant, even scratch built some vending machines using pla-plate.
Thank you for reviewing this. I had been curious, but hadn't known they come painted. that is a major point in their favor. I imagine this might also be nifty for someone if they wanted to do an Ant Man diorama to go with their Marvel Legends figure or something.
weird coincidence. just as i looked up tomytec on amazon the apartment complex under demolition was the first thing that came up. and it came up exactly at the same time it came up on the video. XD
Wish you had a 1/100 up against them just for the sake of comparison. I know they're out of scale (at least moreso than they are to a 1/144) but I'd definitely like to pick some up if they don't look *too* bad next to a master grade.
where can i get 1/144 scale cars trucks and other vehicles. i wonna make a gundam smack a zaku with a semi truck. also do you have to build scale ships or can you buy a kit. i sould also love a white base to scale of the model kits i have and i could store then in the white base like in the show.
Nice thing is that, considering you're a master grade kind of guy, you can just print 1/100 scale demolished buildings/parts. You'd just need to paint them...
Mecha, another great review! Those are really cool. But I think its time you invested in a hobby knife. I use them and swear by them. Good job my fellow gunpla brother!
Oh boy-
Imagine that one scene from the 8th Ms team with the gouf custom
Someone posting that scene on twitter is what made me want these!
Me choose are on my Twitter
6 to midnight buddy, I hope I find some of these at my local shops
Bruh!
These buildings seem like a good basis for 08th MS Team diorama from the battle against the Gouf Custom
Maybe paint the Gouf red and break the EZ8's damaged parts to add some detail?

Builders parts are real?! I thought they were just something in breaker games
they even have frames...
which means its literally dress-up mecha
*look at this diorama*
*look at GM Sniper K9 and Kampfer Amazing furiously*
IT'S TIME!
I'm actually building a diorama for my GM Sniper K9 with the red and tan building. No Kampfer though, no luck finding one
@@SegwayBossk Ikr
Getting the regular one on Ebay is expensive not including shipping coats
Mecha : "we're entering endgame now"
That isn't even the quote
Here still waiting the rewie of the god hand nippers XD
YES YES! I wanted to get a Battle Scene For My Gundams!

bS0up Sounds like something im going to try to get :)
10._. 10 NICE NICE NICE NICE NICE NICE
*painted right out of the box*
Mecha Gaikotsu : FINALLY A WORTHY ITEM

Both warehouses + MG Alex & MG Zaku = Shelf diorama god tier
I make dioramas with polystyrene sheets as main material. It's therapeutic when I make them and add building details and weathering on them.
8:25 “just pop in BARBIE” lmfao 😂
That Abandoned Factory make me wanna do the scene from 0083 War in the Pocket where the Kampfer is rising from the Warehouse
Seeing that warehouse is making me think of that one warehouse that every Tokusatsu fight seems to end up in.
Seeing that warehouse... whelp, I found a good accessory for the Kampfer I planned to get.
The abandoned warehouse is good, it's really looks nice to hide Kampfer before using it to destroy a city...
And fail
I imagine that factory set could really be brought to the next level if you snapped a few of those roof structures roughly in two, got some scale appropriate flame or explosion effects, maybe something like similar scale tanker truck, and some orange and/or red LEDs.
Loved the War in the Pocket reference! Great video Mecha Gaikotsu, keep up the great reviews!

I was *BLOWN AWAY* by this video.
the apartment one looks perfect for the scene when kamille pushes the mk2 into a building....now i need a second titans mk2
A Fine addition to my collection this will be.

These look incredible. I will definitely look more into them for my diorama. Finally, my gunpla don't need to stand in crappy clay rocks!

Glad to see someone else using these. Only other person I've seen use them in reviews was Diegodoom.
@Mechagaikotsu you should tell HLJ that their sponsorship in your channel is well worth it. I started buying from them because of you. A very good battle scene......Nice Work MECHA GAIKOTSU! You did a great job
Just found one of those buildings on HLJ and I just had to come back to this video
These would also work well with Mobile Suit Skirmish and other Gunpla strategy games. I really should pick some up to make a gaming table.
... first place ive heard mobile suit skirmish and now i will explore...
Just image that kampfer standing up from the factory.
Same thoughts dude after i saw the Abandoned Factory kit
Definitely would like to see these weathered a bit more but as a base starter, it looks awesome
And now to recreate the final fight seen from Thunderbolt
This will be perfect gimmick for a fallen exia
Is that Eren vs Godzilla vs Gndams vs Zakus ? 10/10. Mecha Gaikotsu really outdid himself this time.
And here I am, still waiting on the RG Mk II review as it gets waved in front of my face.. I'm still holding out for it!
Very good details on those dioramas.

Huh these look like they could be pretty good for wargaming aswell
I want to build those for my seven high grade Gunpla kits
Thank you for reviewing this. I had been curious, but hadn't known they come painted. that is a major point in their favor.
I imagine this might also be nifty for someone if they wanted to do an Ant Man diorama to go with their Marvel Legends figure or something.
i bloody love your content my friend
Oh yes I want dis.
I've added these things to the basket on multiple sites and never gone through with it...I may have to go through with it now. :D
4:53 that will make it too realistic jajaja
meanwhile i have the urge to also use these for the Ultraman figures.
Man glad to see you
Ooo, the abandoned factory is cool, maybe if you got the hg kampfer you could put it in it
These look delicious
Those are very cool
weird coincidence. just as i looked up tomytec on amazon the apartment complex under demolition was the first thing that came up. and it came up exactly at the same time it came up on the video. XD
The MG barbatos is out now !!!!
Imagine buying 2 broken ones and fuse them into a not-damaged-at-all one XD
Oh, you and Krow sama both into these building kits. Friendly competition to make the biggest city kit?
That factory part had me like: Shhh... Zaku sleepy boi
How are you reading my mind, I was just looking for something like this. Especially after I bought an anycubic a week before your video.
This is nice
Pls review the RG MK-II and some of the older RGs
Whoa.. this is nice! And good video.
1:17 isn't that building is from pubg?
Do They have sizes comparable with robot damashii or robot spirits? And if so what sizes are they called?
Love your vids keep making them
Love your vids An avid fan here!
That is so cool! Can we have more Figma Reviews!;D
these are nice
Wish you had a 1/100 up against them just for the sake of comparison. I know they're out of scale (at least moreso than they are to a 1/144) but I'd definitely like to pick some up if they don't look *too* bad next to a master grade.
Nice
These look great, but does anybody have recommendations for things like these that I could use for MGs instead of HGs?
I've gotten a sudden urge to play Rampage ...
I will buy one
Mechagaikotsu you review hg legilis fundamentalists please🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
That trade post is actually a post office
Nice review.... but are you pushing through with the god hand?
Mecha Gaikotsu = a Gundam collector who own a lot of gunpla even a godhand but got no hobby knife 🤣
If you every do customers that would be a cool series if you do an video on them with like lore
MGC: MechaGaikotsu Century
where can i get 1/144 scale cars trucks and other vehicles.

Would you say robot damashi is comparable with this too?
Do you think these buildings will fit the warhammer scale?
This’ll be great with mobile workers
Mecha, another great review! Those are really cool. But I think its time you invested in a hobby knife. I use them and swear by them. Good job my fellow gunpla brother!
Looks very good with the gunpla. What's the name of the 1st song ?
Can the gunplas hold those red steel beams from the abandoned warehouse? imagine them losing their weapons and using those to smash each other haha
I hate to ask, but could you do a review on the perfect grade astray red frame?
Even though they're not gunpla
If they were what would you rate them?
Blue Destiny unit 2 owo
Why are both you and Krowsama going for the same direction nowadays? Lol
Wierd. They’re must be something in the air!
Any ideas what scale of die cast or any vehicle toys that could work with this?
Nevermind, they also sell the same scale vehicles!
I know taobao have but did’t have the one you are opening in this video
I know these are meant for gunpla but could these displays work for example transformers?
i've always been curious as to where you can get these. but i'm more curious about the church thingy on your shelf.
iskeypx I’m pretty sure that’s from warhammer 40k
Ohmygod! my gundam stuck in this video. Wahahaha
I'm not finding the hi-rise on their website? Do you know what it's listed as on their website?
It seems to be missing now. Not sure why
Do I use N gauge with 1/144 scale?
Yay I'm earlly
Really wanted to make a diorama but don't have any skills in making it tho
I once saw an AliExpress listing I wanted, but I figured it was too good to be real, and took a pass.
Neat
Is mg gundam force impulse is big?plz answer me
How did the God Hand break!?
