These 'pundits' have such double standards, they destroy players and managers on a daily basis and freak out when they get it back 🤣
Well Said !!!
They get carried away & go over the line when criticizing any player or manager. They have to be able to handle others doing same about to them.
My favorite example is Robbie from AFTV going off on them for their hypocrisy & talking down/insulting him & AFTV. It’s a 20-30 min video you can find easily on here.
@@chrisfrank2664 ill have a look at that, thanks 👍
@@chrisfrank2664 I watched it all yesterday. They made it a kids video and stopped comments on it.
Jim White made the worst showing I've ever seen from him, and Simon was his usual pompous self, but against somebody who cared about his product and his club enough to make Simon look like the overly confident hypocrite that he is.
Maybe cause that’s the pundits job and not the players or managers?
Some have a quite psychotic bias. Oliver Holt against Newcastle is the worst Ive seen anywhere
As a neutral fan, I've always found Liverpool supporters unbearable and for that reason - it's City for me.
Manchester City is a Terrorist Club
100 per cent..... they think they are the only club in the world god love them...... pep bought promising players also but hes never credited for that or for turning the majority of them into league winners.... pep imo was replying to carragher in a round about way because he said we're not a big club because they had nt won the xhampions league.... that was peps reposte...imo.... klopp is a serial moaner.... always whining... look what he said about conte s spurs.... yet when he was asked about haaland he turns around and says there are many ways of winning a football match.... make your mind up...... when liverpool win anything their supporters automatically think these are the best players that have ever played in the Premier league..... its comical.
The pompous attacks on Newcastle this season by Liverpool fans (almost word for word the drivel in media by people who'd have screamed the place down if it had been done against THEM) on their pedestals did it for me. I'll be rooting for City
Lawrenson, Hansen, Souness, Thompson, Redknapp, Gerrard, Carragher, Mcmanaman, Owen, Murphy, Warnock, how dare Pep say there's media bias towards Liverpool 😄
Pep said the whole COUNTRY was biased towards liverpool. If he wants to call out the media then say the media.
Barnes, Fowler, Jim Beglin
Good team, that. Maybe get David James in goal.

Hes got Shawn goater lol
Danny Murphy is an influencer/ part of media. He is among the people pep talked about so he is biased downwards Liverpool
But everyone has a bias? You think if someone works in the media they arent allpwed to have opinion or be bias? There would be no media
He played for and loves Liverpool. Not bias
Media and referees mainly support Liverpool
Yeah, all those referees that were born in Manchester, you mean?
Man Utd are the biggest, the most talked about, get more coverage and are the most criticised club in the country. But Liverpool are the media darlings and i think it stems from the mid 60s when bill shankly was manager. If all media did a poll about who's their favourite team, on the whole it would be Liverpool. I remember years ago a few in the media said that Liverpool fans are the most knowledgeable in the game. An insult to every other fans. It seems can do no wrong.
11 ex Liverpool players are pundits.MIcheal Owen called Van Dijk the best centre half of all time.So much for balance.
Gary Neville put VVD in his all time EPL XI, you could hardly accuse him of having a Liverpool bias.
You are listening to what Michael Owen says? He is a garbage pundit. The guy talks more waffle than Captain Birdseye.
@@MrCarrera28 "Best centre half of all time".That is what Micheal Owen said. If Gary Neville is your yardstick for good analysis then that speaks volumes. Its insular nonsense to claim Van Dijk is the best ever centre half.
@@sonnyirish3678 Your supposition was about bias not competence. You intimated that Owen was biased because he played for Liverpool. Therefore if a Liverpool hater, in Neville, says he is best ever in EPL the fallacy and idiocy of your argument is proven. You have fallen for the illicit major fallacy which is despairing easy to disprove.
Like many without the cognitive capacity for any form of critical analysis, when your paltry and weak argument is disproven you resort to insults and bringing in new facts not presented in your argument.
I would suggest that you do not embarrass yourself further, but given the paucity of your original argument, intelligence is clearly not your long suit and no doubt you will just try to justify your idiocy by throwing further insults.
That's his opinion, just like you have your opinions, good god what a sensitive society we live in where people have meltdowns because of a statement somebody makes that you don't agree with
The Liverpool bias is clear what they on about?
Part of the bias is denying that there is any
They wouldn't be discussing it if it was bs
I'll take a wild guess you're a Liverpool fan......
Of course there is. Klopp is the media darling.
As a city fan, I think Klopp is a great person and manager, what isn’t to like. However I think it’s part of the reason there is a bit of bias

Or maybe because in a close title race is good for the ratings for the teams to have been within 1 poing of each other. It gives companies like Sky something to hype up every game as a potential title decider. Hence why all the quadruple talk.

Of course there is, it's staggering the amount of Liverpool fans/ex players in the UK media.
ex Liverpool players have actually done stuff within the game. City have existed since 2008, pep is trying to play the victim again, trying to deflect from his failure yet again. 1 billion spent at City, been at Bayern, best team in the world at the time, and hasn’t won the Champions League since 2011. 11 Seasons. As a Liverpool supporter. There are probably too many pundits who are affiliated with Liverpool and Man Utd but it's not the ENTIRE media. 100% have to agree with Pep.
Whoever denies the fact that there are absolute Liverpool fanbois working as "pundits" on every major platform/channel is kidding themselves, lying or delusional. Manchester United has been in shambles so the bias media had for them has backfired and they face more criticism than ever (which is justified)
Liverpool fans are also all over the internet just cancelling anything/any voice that gives them a just criticism - feels like you are not allowed to talk about any bad performance from LFC or if some of their players are average like you are not allowed to talk about Henderson being a bang average player. You are not allowed to talk about Trent's terrible defending because Liverpool fanbois will just shut you down.
Wish their toxic fans/fellow fan pundits had the ability to decipher that their actions undermine the good things their team achieves on the field.
Lol God almighty! you are rattled aren't you?! Haha! It's simple supply and demand mate. There is a reason you don't hear much about Swindon Town because not many people will read/click on it. Likewise for City.

Just like your name suggests, you must be high on your fanboing. You underline and prove the point that your fanbase is as toxic as they come. Cannot debate on facts because talking about real bias and real teams will weaken your blind argument?
Let's talk about teams like Arsenal, Spurs and Man City - you lot don't see the blatant bashing by the media on them? How long was Liverpool down in the dumps? Did you see anything similar in decades of Liverpool getting annihilated and being a mid-table club than what you see when Spurs/Arsenal lose 2 or 3 in a row? I remember some of these so-called pundits mocking Arsenal and saying that they could get relegated at the start of the season. I am a Barcelona fan and I admit that there has been bias by the foreign media(not pro-RM Spanish media) for Barcelona. Even when we lost, the criticism was limited and usually the Managers were thrown under the bus. It's your LFC fans who act all riled up when there's honesty or criticism thrown your way. "Klopp is better than SAF", how Liverpool is the best PL team of all time" videos are over the internet when you lot have won one PL in 30 years. Guardiola has won 4 in the same time period Klopp has been here but it's Klopp the best PL manager of all time????
You don't see the bias? You probably won't because Stevie Nicol and Carragher's are waiting to stroke Liverpool's ego when you lose. But ok, I don't expect fans to admit how something has been favouring their team. Real Madrid fans never admit how referees have won them CL fixtures against Bayern, Juventus and Barcelona in the past.
There's definitely a bias. In the 18/19 season, Kevin de Bruyne was out for major of that season and City were on course to win the QUADRUPLE. Liverpool were above City in the League (on points) and the media focused on Liverpool because Salah was out scoring everyone (robbed of the Balon'Or) and they won the CL. City won the domestic QUADRUPLE and were reminded in the media that it wasn't "the treble". Liverpool are the media darling.
There were actually numerous articles in national publications suggesting City's domestic dominance at that time was bad for football. No such articles this year though...
Its worth noting that Michael Owen said the title is now man citys to lose...as if man city havnt been leading since February
There's been minimal points separating them for ages? Ground just was lost by Liverpool.. Simple.. Less pressure, more likely to win..

Murphy telling neutrals that they ‘should’ want Liverpool to win is everything that is wrong with the media, they have wrongly assumed that Liverpool are everyone’s second team after flooding their studios with their ex players, now they’re telling us they should be!
Remember when media's, ref's, FA's first team was Man United? Wait, it still is.
It's been like this since forever. Media thinks everyone loves Liverpool.

And there style of play is much more attractive to watch then city who are robotic in there style of play
Of course there is a bias… Danny finding reasons why a neutral would support Liverpool is exactly that bias…one could make a pro city argument…like Pep changing the landscape in the EPL and setting a new standard…but he doesn’t mention any of that just the pro Liverpool reasons, that’s not say he’s wrong for having a Liverpool bias…but he mustn’t deny that it exists…
When they have to defend themselves it means Pep hit a nerve
There is media bias and it's rather obvious both for neutral and rival supporters. Media keeps talking about Liverpool winning the quadruple like it's going to solve global warming , but when Man City were on their way to winning it, it was terrible for football because of the way they were going to win it. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge the fact that there is media bias towards Liverpool is either delusional or a scouser - a lot of times these two go hand to hand. The amount of ex Liverpool players in the media is one of the biggest reasons why there is bias. Trevor Sinclair, Micah Richards and so on, often get called out on their clear bias towards City not realising that half of the pundits are doing the same for Liverpool. Simply because they are a majority, does not mean you should turn a blind eye about it. It is very irritating having to constantly listen to pundits talk about Liverpool like they're the second coming of Christ whilst undermining City's achievements.
Well Liverpool are a big club pal. City are not and the way they've achieved success is not respected that's why
Here's a question: when was the last time a visiting team got a penalty at Anfield in the Premier League?
Most clubs came to anfield to defend deep how can they got penality kkkkkk
The high defensive line means they rarely get into the box.
You mean, when was the last time a visiting team ventured out of the bus parked in their own box and tried to score at Anfield?
Last I checked, you gotta be in the box and actually be fouled to win a penalty.
Credit to Son on the weekend, he's about the only player in 4 months to have even bothered running up the other end, so he deserved to score seeing nobody else in the league can be arsed doing anything similar.

Let’s be honest, I’m a spurs fan, and for years Liverpool have been the premier leagues darling, you’ve only gotta look at the amount of farcical VAR decisions gone in their favour since it’s been introduced.
I mean look at Klopps comments about spurs after the game, I’m sure he knew how spurs would play, he’ll have planned for it, under the assumption they’d still win the game, and if they did he’d have been full of praise for spurs regardless of how they played, but because they didn’t win, pulled the way they played to pieces, born out of nothing more than bitterness they didn’t win, that’s why the neutrals want city to win, what does he think, that teams are gonna go to Anfield and be expansive? They’d get beat comfortably which is why they don’t, Liverpool and their fans have always had a misguided sense of entitlement, and they ram success down everyone’s throat at every opportunity.

I'm glad that finally someone of worth like Guadiola has the courage to say it, in England it is Liverpool or Man United, if others like like Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal try to break in, it becomes an aberration. You will see that the media and virtually all the pundits try to play the mind game, playing down the chances of their success. And, even the officials in the games are willing to help.
