About us:
Nitro Circus is what happens when a group of extremely talented and fearless friends decides to make their hobby into their profession. This crew represents a cross section of everything awesome in action sports: freestyle motocross, BMX, skateboarding, scooter, snowboarding, skiing, BASE jumping, sky diving, and a bunch of stuff that shouldn't be taken down a ramp. Nitro Circus tours the world putting on shows featuring all of the above and more. In our constant quest to always do what we love and push the boundaries of what's possible in action sports, we have some epic crashes and legendary fails, but stick or stack, our only goal is to have fun and entertain the world in the process.
Driving with 2 pro race drivers and having massive Yokahama factory support in an amateur race for shit cars, is not a "Team underdog story". 32nd place is hilariously "butt terrible" though.
Travis' video was certainly more entertaining, and I agree with Streetbike Tommy, a Miata has no place in the 24 hours of Lemons.
It can if you slap some ridiculously underpowered, overweight American engine in. :)
But a potato miata is pretty cool!

The car is sweet, the theme is OK, but the two drivers are butt terribad. "Professional" drivers are just boring when they try to impress at 24 Hours of Lemons, period.

Sucks how this has turned into just another race with big money sponsors. The original $500 car idea along with the spirit of cheap car racing is long gone. Hell even the entry fee is $1400. Probably not a single person out there with less than $5000 invested in the race.

The entry fee has always been $1000+ from the very beginning.
And every car needs at least $2-3K in safety equipment before it hits the track.
So what's your point?
@@cliffwebb1621 Roll cages and all safety equipment are excluded from the $500 budget. Every car on the track has at least $2K in safety gear. How bout you actually read the rules instead of ignorantly spouting off about things you don't know about?

Totally not true at all. Yes, there are lots of cars in the series which have been racing for years and as such have had lots of money put into them, but there are still plenty of legit clunkers.
Grand Waha for sure! No one has honestly spent under the $500 allowance. Funny though that even if you spend a bunch more, somehow the slowest cheapest bucket cars that you blast pass pull through to the end and beat the guys that spent decent coin on the mods so it actually doesn’t matter all too much. It’s a pretty funny result, the cars that pass in the pit at race end are hilarious. Stands true to the lemons concept at least :)
those tires alone are $500
the car, including the engine has to be under 500. Safety equipment, brakes, roll cage, wheels and tires, don't count towards the 500. Now there is a loophole which allows you 1000 dollars for a car but it has to be a rolls royce
Totally false statement. There are tons of $500 cars in the field and even if you spend more on the car, you are hit by penalty laps. BTW most of these cheated/expensive cars end in the mid/back of the field while teams that are winning are running frankenstein's monsters straight outta junkyard.

Should have a rule like the races in Norway.
After the race, any car has to be sold for 2000 €/$ if somebody asks for it.
The cars can't cost more than 500 US, safety equipment and tires are omitted.

If you had any experience in the series whatsoever you'd know that rubbing fenders has always been a big no-no.
