Thanks for stopping by! I'm excited to finally make some solid progress on the Z32! Here are the videos I referenced: KA24de Score - Junkyard 240sx S13: ua-cam.com/video/HXjA39wjMxs/v-deo.html Black Interior Score - Junkyard 300zx Z32: ua-cam.com/video/xdj-1k2m88I/v-deo.html Junkyard 240sx S14 suspension score: ua-cam.com/video/aJe5M22717Y/v-deo.html Shirts and Stickers!! aimlessgoods.com/collections/prizza-mike
I respect the focus on other projects and stuff, i can imagine after so much working on the 240 it can be draining and could burn you out, i can imagine there are also people complaining about not seeing 240 progress, but screw'em you keep doing you man, i can watch anything you put out Mike, thank you for the content and for your self
Plus there's a KA involved in this build, so it's still related! People considering a KA-T swap will still probably get a lot out of the Z build content even if there will be some challenges that are unique to the Z platform. Plus, while I'm definitely in the S-chassis camp, I've always had a bit of a sweet spot for the Z32s, so I at least don't mind. Fact of the matter is, if Mike wants to keep building the channel, and continue beyond the repair of his S13, he _has_ to branch out otherwise it'll become harder and harder to come up with really good content. Just getting through the winter when it sucks to work on a car in Chicago was probably enough of a struggle... Luckily, people seem to enjoy junkyard diving!
Plot twist. Mike always uses transitions because he doesn’t know how to work on his cars so he pays someone else to and edits it to make it look like he did. 🤓
The first import I ever seen in real life was a fairlady 2+2 & it was absolutely so sick and brought me to the import world and I have never left that was 10 yrs ago !!!
2:36 Worth noting, I've heard that the sole purpose of that hook is just to pull the chassis along during manufacturing. Though of course, that doesn't stop you from using it to pull a chassis along behind it lol
Love how informative you are man im rebuilding a single cam ka out of a d21 right now and watching this video helped me feel better about the vacuum lines there are so many on the damn diagram and I don’t wanna use half of them 😂😂
If you have to drill in a tight area, you can get a right angle drill or there are right angle attachments you can get for a regular drill that are really handy. Stubby drill bits can also help. I use a right-angle attachment from Milwaukee on a regular drill that takes hex bits and with a collection of stubby bits, that has gotten me out of a few tight spots (pun totally intended)! Glad you went over the vacuum lines... I need to sort all that out on my KA still as well. Good weather is just around the corner finally... time to really get after this stuff!
I'm a fan of your channel! here in Brazil we don't have that variety of cars like there!! super sports cars or jdm cars. These junkyards that visit for me are a dream haha. One day I want to move to your country!!
A few friends and I have been contemplating doing a kat in a z ourselves here in Florida, what we were thinking was to use the whole excessive adapter kit and the sr-z mounts, fuel lines just flip on the bottom of the car, actually was gonna use a hardbody flywheel and retain a vg clutch, stock driveshaft and driveshaft mount, and I literally was underneath a sr20 swapped z the other day,for mounts all they did was basically extend the pedestal towards the engine
17:11 Taco Bell is calling 😅 Excited for this Z32 build; one of my favorite cars. I like that you are using a KA24 engine; Im curious to see how it performs in the car. I assume it will help lighten and balance the car's weight distribution. Thanks for sharing!
I always get excited when I see that you post a video it’s the greatest thing to sit down and have a cuppa coffee. Watch my favorite UA-camr and get my day started. Keep up the good work never disappointed.
I'm very curious to see how the KA feels in the Z, will definitely be interesting And Payton is a pretty cool dude! He definitely built one of the cleanest Z32's I've seen 🔥
PRIZZA MIKE you need to invest in an auto body file belt, they work great for grinding spot welds off in tight areas, like that weird one on the firewall, suuuupperrr nice for prepping metal in weird areas before welding. usually theyre pneumatic and use alot of air.. milwalkee has a cordless one but i wonder if someone makes a wired one. i know youre a man of plug in power tools.
8:57 Talking about fire hazards, when I got my Mustang it had a burned out audio wire snipped off on one end and connected to the positive side of the battery on the other, my guess is the previous owner had sub in the passenger footwell and took it when they sold the car, as it still has a bass knob mounted under the dash, I'm assuming that audio wire is the reason why the car shorted out a couple days after I got it, (it locked the horn and lights on once I unlocked it after work, had to drive home at midnight with the horn blaring) because it hasn't done it since then and that was a couple years ago, you never know what you'll find in a used car
This is really cool Nissans like the Z's and the S's aren't really seen alot here in the Netherlands (can't speak for all of Europe) so i really like to see where this is heading.
What's up! I'm new to your channel and I love your videos! I want to get a project car but have a very low budget. Wondering if you have any suggestions or input on what i should be looking for and how to get this dream started. Love watching you build your car and score sweet deals. Truly an influence.
So as a z and a hardbody owner... the vg and ka should share a bellhousing bolt pattern!!!!!! Don't neglect to do some research I guarantee you'll need a custom clutch. But I always told myself I'd put a single jingle on boost in my z32 if it popped!!!! Just saying the vg30de has a shit ton of bottom end reliability. It's the timing jobs and sticky injectora that get yah. Another plus. I hear alot of 240 sx owners using the z32 transmission lately .... they do have a pretty chill gear ratio
One of the vacuum lines you deleted might be part of the IAC system. There's a bunch of vids on KA emissions deletes, or just check out vacuum diagram. The long ones from the front of the throttle body are for the air pump and evap canister.
Honestly I think this is going to be a pretty good engine for the Z even non-turbo because I've seen people put the sr20s in them and the sr20s have like no torque the ka24 was designed for the D21 Hardbody a truck so it's a very Torquay engine for 4-cylinder so I think it's going to do a very good job in the Z
fun fact: the engine in the video im fairly certain is a DE, the older E head kinda is meh, 3 valves per cylinder, SOHC also is it normal for OHC engines to have no actual removable bearings? as in the head is the bearing?
as a volkswagen guy... i look here and everything is unsual for me xD Btw about those Tan interiours .. Give Sem coatings a go. Landau black and low luster clear . really needa damn good clean do . like bristle brush . APC (meguiars red) scotch pad 3m. and some elbow grease but think could be nice for the channel!
@@PrizzaMike of course bro I love watching you videos! Always cool to see your progress on your projects and I definitely have learned some things I may have not known 🤙
The trans plate is different from auto to manual. The auto is basically half of the manual plate. Wish UA-cam supported pics. Have the manual plate within 5 feet of me lol. If needed I can figure a way to send it to you. Would love to have one of my spares used in one of your builds.
I've seen people run without the plate an just use washers. From what I understand it's just a clutch dust cover. To try and keep dust out of the Trans bell housing. I'm a nut job and like to keep all the oem I can.
Fuck yeah Ka baby! I made a video on my channel on everything i deleted on my intake manifold! There is a lot of parts on those intakes that can get thrown in the trash
Here in Norway, in the town I live it is a 300zx with a 500hp ford cosworth engine and a widebody sierra with a stock 300zx engine😂 Same owner on both cars
Thanks for stopping by! I'm excited to finally make some solid progress on the Z32!

criminally underrated, honestly my favorite automotive channel.
Means alot man 🙏
You're getting really good at transitions man, love your stuff
everytime the camera moves im expecting a random transition. cant trust nothin no mo

I always loved the 300zxs. I wish you the best and can't wait to watch it move under its own weight!
You and Kevin from @junkyarddigs need to do a collab episode where you go get an old American car running
holy shit these transitions were sick! haha xD had me rolling
Glad to see progress on the Z!
Most underrated car content

the 300zx is my dream car, so happy to see someone enjoy it!
First vid from your channel, sweet transitions, can't wait to see what you do with it.
Always looking forward to the next video
Bro you really know how youtube is done. Best car build channel of the year so far.
I'm so excited for the build on dis one I know you are amazing with your build
They make an adapter plate for the ka-z Trans. But it’s seems you got it figured out! Can’t wait to see it running!
Honestly the best content on yt keep it up man ❤
Appreciate you man
The JGTC A80 Supra had a 3sgte in it so you’re not wrong for the KA swap!
Should be an interesting series. I'll have to hit up Payton. His car is pretty sweet. Big fan of the VG here.
I'm very curious to see how the KA feels in the Z, will definitely be interesting
And Payton is a pretty cool dude! He definitely built one of the cleanest Z32's I've seen 🔥
Just looked when you mentioned people being unsubbed and I'll be damned if I'm not one of them. Fixed that right quick.
soooo fn stoked on the Z32 content!
Can't wait to see this come together! Never seen a Ka24de in a Z32! Very interesting my man!
Thanks man! I'm looking forward to this build alot!
Look forward to seeing the progress on this project
Good video, may not seem like a bunch of progress made, but these are the foundations for the project! Keep it up Mike!
YESSS I'm so excited to follow this!!!
this is a series im excited for
I can't wait to see you put in the black interior
I literally get excited every time I get a notification from you Prizzamike
😎🤘
8:52 no hesitation when you yeeted that.
😅 YEET!
So glad to see this. Been thinking a 2.4 will be decent in a z. Maxzworkz or whatever does make an adapter!
B18 powered for a second there lol. Seatbelts for tow straps 👌.
finally the z getting some love

Jimmy Oakes put a sr20det in his and it looks quite at home so a ka24 turbo setup should look just as cool
You should use that tan interior for a budget sim rig build. Would make some cool content.
Heck yeah bro, look forward to this build
Bro I had a feeling you were gonna go with a KA and when I saw you pull it from the s13 a couple junkyard vids back I just knew it 🙏
Haha good guess! 🔥
