This is a beautiful wig. I got it in the dark copper which is a true redhead shade and very flattering. I got the large average for my 23 in and it fits perfectly. Fibres are soft and it in no way looks "wiggy". I love it and it was your review that convinced me.

I have this issue even with Jon Renau wigs. I watched a video on how to remove excess wefts. Game changer for me as I have a 21 inch head and it's a bit flat at the back too.
I purchased the av/lg cap and like you, it was too big for me. I am a 22 1/4" in measurement. I had to pinch together and sew a weft or two together and sew them together to get tighten it up. It definitely got rid of the cone head look. It's now my favorite.
i hvae a pretty small head too, but I just had my first experience with a cap being too large with my latest purchase, a Jon Renau wig. I had he adjusters at the nape actually crossed over, but that made it buckle so i just have them pretty much like you have on the average/large cap. That's not a problem but all that extra cap at the crown - yikes! i think it's wearable, but I sure don't want another one like it. There really is a lot that goes into wig buying!
You a so pretty dear with your dimples. I would like to get this in the rusty auburn but this one looks quite red on you so I'm not sure if the rusty auburn will be too bright.

My take on Rusty Auburn is that it is red but not a bright red..... it is more like rust vs fire engine so it is muted with some copper and light red tones.... it would be very easy to tamp it down by adding some lowlights with a brown marker like I do in this video is even furniture spray ua-cam.com/video/V6_e_mFhiUo/v-deo.html . I will upload a short of the Rusty Auburn color.

Since I don’t have much bio hair this is really a problem for me. It seems I’m always pulling at the ear tabs, which is one reason I hesitate to go down a size in many wigs. Oh, what to do!!🤔😂
Yes, coverage is a tough thing and VERY personal... I can only imagine what a challenge it is without much (or any) biohair to blend.... if it is not one challenge it is another, right?
Great review & beautiful as always! It is very hard to decide between the petite & large for me and this really does help. So thank you. That side coverage makes the large tempting but it would prob be big on me too. Have you ever tried wig grip caps Denise? I wonder if one of those might help to make wigs that are a little too big just a little bit snugger. I am not sure if I have ever seen you use one.
I have tried wig grips.... they definitely help with a wig that is too big, I just don't like the extra pressure on my head. I actually prefer a wig to be less snug. That is one of the areas where our individual preferences really show.... you and I could have the exact same head size but that doesn't mean the same size wigs will work for us equally. Where we like it snug and where we like it loose will impact how we each like the fit. It is all so complicated, lol.

I look better in silver and have pink undertones. I am struggling with a color. I look good in the color micha with cream in Belle tress and I also look good in cola with cherry in ellen wille.
Hi, Stauna. I wish I were more of a color expert. I think that Mocha with Cream in Belle Tress is a really warm color, personally... and while I haven't seen cola with cherry in Ellen Wille, I have seen that color in Belle Tress and again I think it is warm. I bet you are more neutral in coloring if you look good in those colors as they are warm colors. I feel that my coloring is also neutral, so I can pull off a lot of things, even though my preference is silver jewelry (and I also have pink undertones). Sounds like you like a range of colors as well. I think SS Hazelnut would look good on you... has some auburn in it (which I think Mocha with Cream does as well).

Denise, I never considered the fact that a larger cap would mean more hair. It’s a no-brainer I guess but never crossed my mind. I’ve considered getting a petite cap because my measurement proportions are similar to yours. I always have too much room in the top/back of the cap. Because my circumference is average, however, I haven’t taken the plunge. Would you consider Ellen Wille wigs providing an average petite size because they fit me well. Thanks!
If Ellen Wille wigs fit you well then the average petite in Gabor will too.... I love how Ellen Wille wigs fit me. Very comfortable. I would stay away from Jon Renau average sized hand tied caps, though... those always have so much room on my head. For me, the circumference of a wig is never a problem. At 22" I can always tighten a wig there... the problem really comes in how much cap at the crown I have because the rest of my measurements are so small.... this is why I always tell my wig sisters that circumference is only part of the wig fit story. So far in my wig wearing journey I have had the most problem with Jon Renau and Envy Hand tied caps (to be fair, I have only had 1 Envy hand tied, but I've had 2 Jon Renau hand tied), and now this average large size by Gabor. I do have room in a lot of other wigs, but have in general been able to make them work even when I have some extra cap.
Have you tried taking out a few wefts at the crown so you can get the extra coverage of the larger size? Godiva Secret have a good video showing how to do it.
@@bjerles SS Hazelnut GL8-29SS... the base is an 8 which is a medium golden brown and it has a light auburn blended and there is a bit of a darker root.
