Thank you, you look beautiful in all 3 colors. I am so happy to see your enthusiastic review because I ordered this wig too, a few days ago and waiting for it to arrive in the mail
Hi Denise, I just found your channel last week. Your channel is great. You are so good at explaining things. I am starting to wear wigs because I have shoulder-length hair with bangs and very thin hair on top. I have been combing the few strands on top all forward and combing it so the scalp is all cover. Then I spray it a lot with hairspray so that they stay in place. I bought a Raquel Welch Tress wig in Pecan Brown which is close to my dye hair color. I thought that color was safe. It matches great. But I want to pick other colors and you give great reviews on different colors. Especially this review where you gave 3 colors at once. I am sold on the color gl 829ss. I want to thank you for doing this. As I get time, I will be going through the rest of your reviews. Hope you are having a nice day. Bye.
Thank you for a great review. It was really beneficial for me to see the color comparisons. I realized Honey Pecan is too light for me. I love the SS Hazelnut and Rusty Auburn on you and believe those colors be good for me too.
You look so cute with that blond one tucked behind your ears. but loving you in the Reds in Auburns you look beautiful in those colors.I agree Gabor wigs far lasting and the lace fronts are impeccable, I love the Gabor line.❤👍
I love your wig reviews and color comparisons. Honey Pecan would be the shade for me, I’ve about worn out my Gabor Sandy Blonde & I’m due for a new wig. The length is perfect. I agree Gabor lace fronts are perfect, Gabor wigs fit my head much better than RW, I’m a 21 circumference. Thanks again!
Omg love it. Great comparisons. The style is just beautiful! ALL 3 look great on you. I fixing to buy SS Honey Pecan Bouncy. Would you says Honey pecan is warm with golden type highlights mixed in? Watching this helps me to decide. I am brunette wanting to start into the brown/blonde combos. Thanks
Rusty auburnnis a good color for you. Looks great. Love seeing the same style. They are different. The two darker ones are much more wavy/curly. Nice review. Thank you.🥰
I love this style. I think this will be my next purchase 🤗 as far as the differences in the same wig, think about this....when we wore our bio hair it didn't look exactly the same every single day. So these small differences are really realistic.
Denise, I don’t like playing favorites, but I’m wearing almost exclusively Gabor wigs lately. Probably because I’m not a HD fan either. Love the colors on you and the fun review🥳. Oh yeah, can you talk me out of buying RW UpStage over Modern Motif?
Denise Sheets ....oh I know, it’s just that I’ve never owned a fully hand tied wig. Would it really be worth it, or is it just hype? That’s my true dilemma.
I always like to recommend Wig Studio 1, but I have a post on my blog that lists some of the trustworthy sites I have purchased from: www.heywigsister.com/trusthworthy-websites-to-purchase-wigs
I love this one you! It looks very much like my Henry Margu "Jules"... I haven't worn her yet, and I need some advice on "product"... what product did you use in your SS Hazelnut? And how do you use it?
I don't use very much product in this wig at all... but when I do I like to use a little Brandywine Volumizing Wig Mousse: amzn.to/2qddLlR or occasionally Envy Beauty Balm: www.joshua24.com/wig-accessories-envy-beauty-balm-sculpting-creme/
I'm not sure, I haven't seen SS Capuccino. A great resource for color descriptions is the Name Brand Wigs color charts, I use them all the time: www.namebrandwigs.com/pages/color-charts. Here is how they described these two: SS Honey Pecan- GL11/25SS= Chestnut brown base blends into multi- dimensional tones of brown and golden blonde. SS Cappuccino- 12/22SS= Light golden brown w/ cool blond highlights all over and dark brown roots
Thank you so much for sharing these comparisons because I really struggle being a natural redhead with roots and highlights when you see a natural redhead they don't have distinctive highlights or roots and I always need to find a natural red it can't be a fashion highlighted red and all these look very highlighted like Raquel Welch to me they always look highly salonedI like more natural red which is pretty much a solid color with maybe a hint of lowlights and highlights hard to find🌷
I wonder why my wig in the color ss hazelnut came with a horrible lace front with super dark knots??? Mine is a RW and a curly wig. The knots are the same dark brown as the shaded brown rooting. It looks so unnatural!! They told me that's the way it's supposed to be?! I am just sick about it. Only my second wig.....
@@heywigsister Rachel Welch, not Gabor. But I know they both have awesome lace fronts. I've watched so many of your videos and learned so much from you. You always take the time to show the lace front. Especially when they look like they are growing right out of your head! For example, I've watched your reviews of Rachel Welch wigs in Shaded Hazelnut in several different styles. It always has a stellar lace front. I must have bad luck! I have medical hair loss so this is a very personal and important step for me. Only my second wig ever.
What happened? I just watched you review this, your first, and you said it was low density, basiclly inferred flat, and you couldn't get any volume to stay. I left a comment on that one because it was just opposite what Cysterwigs said when she, in fact, said "If you don't like big hair" avoid this one. Now you're pretty much agreeing with her. You should take your first review down. Its very misleading.
I just watched this one back and I'm not sure where you saw me say this was big hair? Can you tell me what the time stamp is? When I was wearing this style I was very new to wig wearing and got VERY overwhelmed with big hair since I had been losing it for 20 years. I don't think this has big hair at all and if it did I would not have been able to wear it back then. Please keep in mind that "big hair" is a TOTALLY subjective term. What is big hair to one person is not to another. What is a lot of hair to one person is not to another. What is too much permatease to one person is not to another. You really can't take one person's word for subjective opinions unless you learn over time that you tend to agree with that person a lot. What I would take from this is that the volume on this wig is not cut and dried... it is somewhere in the middle and the only way to know for sure is to try it yourself. Just purchase from a retailer with a great return policy and no restocking fee. Wigs.com has the best return policy that I know of right now. Good luck and I hope you figure out what will work best for you!
I love that rusty auburn! Very pretty.
This hairstyle and the construction of the Modern Motif makes this SO REALISTIC on you!
Thanks! I totally feel that when I am wearing her.
Thank you, you look beautiful in all 3 colors. I am so happy to see your enthusiastic review because I ordered this wig too, a few days ago and waiting for it to arrive in the mail
Always love your reviews Denise! Thank you for taking the time to do them!
You bet, Karin!! Thank YOU so much for taking time to comment!
I think you look great in the multi blonde colors Thank You so much for all the info you give .
Thank you so much for watching!!
Beautiful wig and colors! I love that SS Hazelnut color!
Thank you, me too!
Love modern motif on you. The length is perfect. I like the auburn best.
Thank you!

Thanks!! I obviously love these two colors because I bought other wigs in them, lol. The ss hazelnut is truly so perfect
Love all of the colors on you, Denise❤ thanks for the color comparison...it really does help!
Thanks so much my friend!
Love you in the blonde! Beautiful!
Thank you!!

Thank you thank you!! I really love Gabor wigs as well.
Love it! This is one of my favorite wigs, so it was nice to see it in other colors.
I'm so glad it was helpful!

Honey Pecan is so pretty on you! You look great in all the colors but I think Modern Motif in Honey Pecan just brightens your eyes.
Thanks!!
Came back to rewatch...Thank you Denise, great color comparison. I'm looking at the new Gabor Twirl & Curl (which is not curly LOL) in the Hazelnut.
OOOOOH, I haven't seen that one! I should go check it out.
Rusty auburnnis a good color for you. Looks great. Love seeing the same style. They are different. The two darker ones are much more wavy/curly. Nice review. Thank you.🥰
Thanks! I agree the darker ones look so different than the blonde one.

That is a perfect analogy.... thanks!
ADORABLE! Love that Hazelnut
The best color!
Great reviews Denise very helpful. Do you know which Gabor wigs are slightly larger at all? Loving the lace fronts very similar to Raquel Welch 👌💕
Soft and Subtle has an average large.... I also have found Radiant Beauty to run a little big.
The rusty auburn looks perfect with your eyes and coloring - This wig is very becoming - Gabor and Rachel Welch are made by the same manufacturer
Denise, I don’t like playing favorites, but I’m wearing almost exclusively Gabor wigs lately. Probably because I’m not a HD fan either. Love the colors on you and the fun review🥳. Oh yeah, can you talk me out of buying RW UpStage over Modern Motif?
You could almost get TWO modern motif wigs for 1 upstage so right there is reason enough, lol!
Denise Sheets ....oh I know, it’s just that I’ve never owned a fully hand tied wig. Would it really be worth it, or is it just hype? That’s my true dilemma.
U look wonderful in all of the colors!
Thank you, Linda!
I love this blonde one, where can i buy it?

Hi Denise is Modern Motif longer than Sweet Talk. Thank you for your review
Hi, Gerri. I have never tried Sweet Talk so I have no idea... I would love to try her though!
Hi would you say the honey peacon ss is like the SS cappuccino by Raquel Welch ?
I’m thinking of buying the Fresh Chic ..
I'm not sure, I haven't seen SS Capuccino. A great resource for color descriptions is the Name Brand Wigs color charts, I use them all the time: www.namebrandwigs.com/pages/color-charts. Here is how they described these two:

Love the color
Thanks!
Gabor is the best
Obviously I totally agree!
Does this wig come in 1B dark brown.. it’s so pretty.....
I'm not sure- you can find it on www.wigstudio1.com , hopefully it does!
What is difference between GL29/31 and GL29/31SS?
The SS is shaded, so it has a shadow root. The one without the SS is not rooted.
Karen- when you have a chance can you send me an email? I have something I want to run by you! :) heywigsister@gmail.com
