    This full length Yoga Nidra Meditation for Deep Body Relaxation will help you let go of anxiety and stress to experience a deep inner peace and calm. Yoga nidra is a guided meditation that you do lying down that leads you into a deeply relaxing conscious sleep.
    This guided meditation is part of our attention economy series. With so much information coming from digital content, online spaces, social media and time on computers it is easy for us to become disconnected from our bodies. Our experiences are largely cerebral.
    Because we are always on, always trying to improve ourselves we become disconnected from our internal cues, cues like hunger. We experience lack of sleep, we forget we are hungry. What we are actually hungry for is deep embodiment.
    There will be no close out today so that you can stay deeply in your embodied experience. This guided meditation will end with 5 minutes of silence for those students who like these meditations to fall asleep to at night.

    I've done this so many times, and I love your gentle and calm voice! In the beginning when I got to 10:45 min, I thought my computer was messed up or the internet had stopped, but after doing this so many times, now I appreciate you taking me into the silence and teaching me real meditation! It's still hard, but I keep practicing! I love all your holistic practices and your teachings, THANK YOU MELISSA :)

    In my training we were told to keep speaking at a good pace to ensure the attention of the people in class. So we do the body scan at the beginning, always doing a sankalpa, feeling sensations in the body, random imagery, a journey, and coming back mentioning the sankalpa, and closing.
    Very different method from what I learned.

    Funny you talk about attention economy. Sometimes I like to try your yoga nidras but it’s always like now; now I’m two minutes in and you’re still talking and my brain is already feeling fried. So much info and requests. So I’m gonna bail out again, sorry. Yes to quiet end. If I ever make it that far.

      I also have fatigue, but I started to skip over until the actual yoga nidra starts. It's been really helpful for me, as I also really think Melissa is such a good teacher. Hope that could help you! :)
