To everyone asking WHY it was an ILLEGAL BREAK: In some tournaments, a certain number of balls have to cross the head-line. The head-line is that line on the breaking end of the table that defines where "the kitchen" is. Only two balls crossed the head-line, and more than that many were required.
@@patrickodonnell7111 That's called a "push out." In 9 ball, you can shoot a "push out" on the first shot after the break. You can do almost anything on a push out, except knock the cue ball off the table, or pocket the cue ball - you don't have to hit any ball, but you can hit any ball. After the push out, the opposing player can choose to take the shot, or pass it back.
how come when they are lining up there shots it looks like they are going to hit the bottom of the cue ball but as they pull back they rock the stick up when they go forward instead of just pulling the stick straight back and forward

Pool will never play to the masses until we get the excitement into the game like this. The crowd has to be allowed into it,the announcers' have to be like Hockey, Football etc. This match had it all.
Philippines are happy people but when it comes to business there faces tell a different story...look at all the legends Reyes,Bustamante,Manny pacquiao etc
I would have beaten atleast one of these pros in my good days in Blackwell Job Corps 1999-2000. Played with lots of good players and won many tournaments. Missed those days.
The difference between Reyes (both Phillipines players in this case) and the rest of the human race, is that he plays the same whether he’s alone in the rec room or in front of 10,000 people
Best defensive game I've ever seen. This still gives me goosebumps...

Agree completely
I think his match against Jimmy White is spectacular as well. Jimmy's a beast.
Django is the real MVP of the game and the final. He was in beast form.
Always love watching these two play… wonderful precision, accuracy and mental fortitude… GG’s ❤❤❤
