    • @88_TROUBLE_88
      @88_TROUBLE_88 2 роки тому +5

      Buckethead being overlooked amongst 30 shredders is asisine.. Absolutely no excuse for not being able to make some effort in learning how to play some of his signature style, although to be fair I do understand that it's not easy to basically re-learn an instrument you're obviously quite adept at..
      His distinctive licks are atonal and require you to purposefully abandon harmony and trade for extremely dissonant groupings of notes and that, per se, is the exactly what you train your ears, hands, and mind to avoid (for the most part, realistically) and therefore its not as if it just easily comes pouring out of the fingers onto the fretboard intuitively, right?
      You must rethink the relationship between the notes you're mixing up in lightspeed often 8 at a time, all of them dissonant from each other YET somehow strangely coalescing into a vaguely familiar melody with the riff underneath that swarming pissed off hornets nest of notes, and the overall effect is regularly described as "robotic" or computer effect sounds, and any number of other failures to truly encapsulate into words the ineffable cacophony of notes punctuating the mix of instruments whenever Buck goes into his distinctive atonal / dissonant robot shred aka noodling? I believe it's been labeled officially? Pretty sure everyone has agreed to adorn his distinguished from the pack style of shredding with the title of "noodling" however I'm not certain so.. Yeah don't take my word for it - just put "Buckethead noodling" in the search bar and hit enter and then prepare your anus because you're about to be prolapsed by the sickest badass shredder alive and his tempo, accuracy, punctuation, attack, flair, pure mastering of the instrument will melt your face into a puddle of muck, likely ending up next to the puddle of your prolapsed anus since you more often than not will be stuck in the same spot while you're being vaporized by the greatest shredder alive at the moment..
      .. But yeah, let's not include him on the list of shredders easily imitable because that would be kinda funny to cringe at, as you fail it - it being condensing Buckethead's unmistakable atonal noodling down to an easily imitable passage for inclusion in a UA-cam video.. So not even mad atcha! Lol I understand why you can't include him 👍🏻

    • @michaelsavides8856
      @michaelsavides8856 2 роки тому +4

      @@88_TROUBLE_88 I completely get your point. But Buckethead is an anomaly that most people don't understand. Even though we both agree his phenomenal, it's not for everyone's ears. There is a reason why you've gotten zero likes on your comment. That reason is: you started out saying that not including him is asinine. I mean, Guthrie govan wasn't on there either. And that dude is sick as hell! There are so many others but the dude gave 30 of the most iconic rememberable shredders. Hopefully they'll be a part two and Buckethead will be on there. Take care brother..
