California part 2 was a great time! We head to the Quiksilver store to grab a bunch of clothing and wetsuits.We surfed Newport and semi uncrowded Lower Trestles, tried to eat a little healthier than in the last video where I ate a bunch of donuts lol. Its hard to sustain a full day of surfing by eating donuts so thats why I switched it up and started eating healthy.

Koa, here is a useful tip for putting on a wetsuit. Put a plastic bag over your foot before putting on the wetsuit. Your foot will just slide right through then pull bag off foot once through, repeat with the other foot. Works especially well with a wet wetsuit. Old trick i learned from some OG's here in sunny South Africa.

I think the Wedge and Cylinders are the best wave(s) in Southern Ca.Trestles never barrels,it`s just a mushburger...good for learning on.The Wedge is much harder to surf for a number of reasons,overcrowding being just one.Quiksilver factory used to be in South Costa Mesa,in the industrial complex down the street from where I grew up.When I was a kid,used to be able to get factory seconds there for 5$ a piece for boardshorts.I think it`s still there in the old neighborhood.

You got to take one of the thin plastic grocery bags and that will sleeve it it’ll slip right on you and you won’t have to worry about doing that with your wetsuit every time for your arms and your legs put your foot in the bag and it slips right on

I like to go to Doheny with my daughter & her fiancé after they get off work. We wait for sets, take what we can get and always have fun. But yes as soon as we get out the sets roll through - every time!
Peruvian trick put a plastic bag on your feet and the wetsuit is going to slide easily Koa either way in your hands for your arms , definitely lowers is my favorite spot in the world super sick ramps Aloha brother Koa.

I know you probably went to lowers from the title but, I don't know why it's always lowers and not uppers! I surfed uppers most of the time because I liked it so much more. Just me I guess but it's such a fun wave.
You seem like a cool down to earth kid. As a fellow athlete I can appreciate the time and effort to practice so you can hit the big barrels. Putting on a wet suit sucks. So does putting on competition fit knee sleeves. 🤣🤣.

Dandelion is diuretic: need to use restroom loads if too much. Its meant to have Iron vitamin ( try spinach & egg salad instead) Change into wetsuit in Quiksilver changing room then locate surf!! You need calories for energy G (donut or porridge with banana slow release energy gives stamina (fruit for vitamins & fibre! )...surf wherever no sharks & no fines 😁

I'm a NorCal surfer and put on a 5/4 hooded suit every sesh... pre-surf warm up, and no sunscreen needed. What's really fun is pulling the wetsuit up to your waist and realizing it's on backwards 🤣🤣🤣

LOL!! I thought it was only 50+ year olds who felt putting on a wet suite was a work out! But you could've use a spring suite ( I surf in HB and other parts of Orange County) and it would have been way more easier to put on. And warm enough too. I'll use a full suite when the water is under 60F, otherwise just a spring suite.

It is eaten in salads also. You can take dandelion as natural supplement.
Dandelion cleanses your liver. It's actually great for you...but they could have probably made it taste better.
Dandelion is super high in iron. Keep it healthy. Be thankful that you can afford to travel and have access to such healthy/expensive food. Health is wealth. 🤙
Anything with dandelion in it makes me feel queasy too. If I drank dandelion tea and then put a wetsuit on, the neck cuff would gag me for sure and I'd probably puke.

Hey Koa...... use a plastic bag in your feet and slide in your wetsuit..... try
put a plastic bag on the foot you're trying to slide thru the wetty. with the bag it will go straight thru ;)
Here's a tip to put on a wetsuit: Get a plastic bag and put your foot in it before you put your foot through the leg so when you put on the wetsuit it easily slides through. I do this every time and my wetsuit is super tight and it works like a charm.
