It's good you tried the jeepneys It's being phased out and bigger like baby-bus type of jeepneys will replace them maybe in 5 years more of those will be seen than the traditional old ones.

Fyi, Makati city is part of Metro Manila. Manila and Makati are two different cities which are all part of Metro Manila.
I'm from the Philippines but from the province. I like to try street food when I go to other countries but never tried in Manila. Looking forward to going home and eating in the streets of Manila too.

@@davidkhai That's when you get to the "roots". No facades. What you see is what you get, especially in the rural/province area. Careful though when strolling around neighborhood where you happen to pass by buddies that are having their drinking session. If they see you with a webcam, they would know right away that you're most likely a vlogger, which they are already very much familiar with, and they would SURELY OFFER you to take a SHOT of what they're drinking. It's sort of getting to know you thing. 👍

there are some more nice parks in Makati, like Washington Sycip Park and then a park right next to it. And BGC is more beautiful and modern than Makati.

I recommend that you go to Rizal Park, Intramuros, BGC, SM MOA, national museum of fine arts, anthropology. Enjoy your stay in my city. When you start in Intramuros avoid the tourist traps of the small transports offering you ride within the Intramuros because you can just walk your way through there. I also suggest weekend market in Makati the Saturday Salcedo market and Legaspi Sunday Market

The statue at 23:20 is Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippine National Hero. If you eat lumpiang togue, you have to dip it in the sauce, usually vinegar with chili.

The fishball vendor was not trying to give u free food, what he meant was the cup is free if you buy 'the balls' and you pay for each 'ball', the cup was to be used for the sauce.
