Gremlins, Lost Boys, Bill and Ted, Weird Science and The Princess Bride are all classics and far from guilty pleasure movies. The rest sure. Hudson Hawk is probably one of my biggest guilty pleasure movies though.
You do realise when you say respected by all you’re speaking for billions of people. What I or you class as a ‘ respected’ film maybe someone else’s guilty pleasure. People get to serious about films🙄✌🏻
Would love to see a “Forgotten Spy Movies of the 1990’s” as one of my favorite lesser known movies is If Looks Could Kill with Richard Grieco as the star.
Thanks that was a Blast from the Past seeing those 80"s movies again 😊 That was my favorite Era cause of the movies, music.and the style of clothes that was made in that time.🤓👍🤗😎
Thanks for letting me know you liked what I said about your video. One of my favorite movies from the 80"s is"My Science Project " it's about a teenager who breaks into a Military Plane Junkyard and finds a engine from a UFO 👽 and when he charges it up it opens a time dimension to another place. The special effects were so realistic and it was a exciting experience to watch.
This was an incredible list! The Wraith, Hell comes to Frog Town, A Princess Bride, Weird Science, The Lost Boys, UHF are still some of my favorite 80's movies. If you made a list of the Top 10 greatest 80's movies of all time. And only GenXers could participate. No one's list would be the same.
To the comments, a question, if there's a 80s guilty pleasure movie that you could watch on repeat and never get bored that you could take it anywhere with you, what movie would that be?
The moment you had the original Gremlins on this list I decided to unsub from this AI infested page. It was just one click for me, but also meant a lot to me, Marvelous Videos. 😊

How the hell is Gremlins and Lost Boys, a guilty pleasure.
That's exactly what I was thinking
Big trouble in Little China has always been one I go back to.
Neon Maniacs is my jam!!!!!!
Also, Jaded totally won that battle of the bands. The Outlaw Boys suck.
Many of these movies are not guilty pleasure. They are great and respected movies by all

Gremlins are fantastic movies 💎💎💎💎💎
Gremlins is the best Christmas movie ever 💙
I saw Gremlins at a drive in. It was the second feature, after The Great Muppet Caper. Talk about tonal shift! 😅
Some other great ones- Class of 1984, 3 Oclock High, and Just One of the Guys.

Howie Mandel‘s Little Monsters.
Rugtur Hower "I come in peace"
wouldn't buckaroo bonzai be on the list? or heck even sword and the sorrcerer?
Seen 17 of these, but where's Lifeforce and Liquid Sky?
I vote for Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal & The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen.

I'm sorry, but I thought Neon Maniacs was absolutely terrible.
As much as I enjoy it- you have a point. If water kills them, why do they live in the bridge.... directly next to the water!?
Kelly labrock is smoking
