Here's one think I don't understand.....if u designed the bait...why do u have to make modifications to it out of the box?....why not just design the modifications into the bait so they come out of the box the way u want them to
Ben I have watched all your videos but I seemed to have missed this one. I have both the Draw and the Trace. Have been trying to get the right action but was not happy with how it looked. Thanks for a great video and I will try this next time out.
I bought the 6th sense draw and fished Cave Run Lake in Ky and was drilling em rite out of the box. Our last night fishing, i hit a monster 12lber and a heavy 10lber. Dynamite bait
You caught a 12 and a 10 out of cave run ?? Having fished there my entire life with a lot of success for multiple species it's hard for me to believe it.
Heres the thing right if the rod is parabolic why is it rated as fast? If im getting in to swimbait fishing or have been doing it for a while i'm not gonna buy this rod for a treble hook bait just based of the description. It's nice to have this video cause I wouldn't of known otherwise but maybe change the description to moderate fast or something cause its really confusing.
I said this before. I love you bro. No homo. Your videos are the shiz. Thanks for the education. Can't afford the draw right now but i got the flow glider. Modified it. Trying it from the bank right now until i can get a weekend in my boat. So worried I'm gunna lose it snagging something.
So is fishing glide baits on braid completely wrong? It don't sink so it would take a while right? My home lake is stump city so I'm scared to death to loose it. Hell I'm scared to lose a curve 55. Lol My fav crank
Straight braid is the way to go! Occasionally, you get hung up on the front hook, but I have a lot more faith in braid. Unless it's a musky, it will hold up.
If you’re worried about it start with mono so it’ll have stretch and not snap. Go with 30 and as you get comfortable start moving down. It took me months to come down and now I’m using 18-20 depending on rod and bait setup I pick up.
@@rippinlips9257 🥱 please tell me more. Please tell me how Ben fished this bait. How when he talks about straight retrieve in his swimming pool video, how he really means using quarter turns and twitching. Even though he talks about those techniques separately. Please tell me more.
did you watch the video? The modifications are for different scenarios. If he made it a super sinking bait you couldn't fish it high in the water column. Most swimbaits are barely gonna sink so you can add some weight to fish them deeper if you need to.
You designed it but you have to modify it right out of the box ??? doesn't sound like a very good design to me ...doesn't sound like near Perfection to me.... I'll pass lure salesman.

He’s been real quiet after this lmao
Maybe because you learn new techniques or like things a certain way that everyone might not like
I guess I should have designed the bait to have multiple sink rates built into it. Because taking 10 seconds to add lead wire is difficult.
Love the rod and lures keep it up guys pushing the market further.

I bought one, thanks for the knowledge!
Youuuuu bettttt justed watch your glidebait video hell yea
Is there a link for the 7/9 extra heavy fast? Love all your content. Thank you for the detailed information. Awesome job in your tournaments jeeeesh.

I have a 5.0gear ratio curado 200 is that to slow ? Should I go buy a 7 series reel ?
i gotta get that rod. my iRod Jr.Swimbait cant handle The Draw
I can’t find a heavy rod reel combo fishing both on a boat or on land. Just tossed good money after crap that has snapped on me.
“Rate of stall” someone is a southern trout eaters fan!
What is the sink rate of the 9 inch fast sink out of the box?

Ben forgot to show us that double digit shuffle
TROUT AND KOKANEE PATERNS PLEASE!
First step. Fish waters with giant bass
Wish I could afford a bait that you are showing us, I guess a t-shirt will do,
🤑
Holy shit Ben looks like that actor Tommy Wiseau from the movie The Room! LMAO. "I did not hit her. I did noooot. Oh, hi Mark!"

I’m right there with you. I’m using 65lb braid. Been wanting to try 25lb fluoro just afraid to hear “snap!!” And watching $100 flying across the lake

Definitely late to the party but I use 80lb powerpro super 8
Just got this glide. Absolutely no action on a straight retrieve. A few people said to not use a snap but Ben is using one.
It's a glide bait not a swimbait? It's meant to be fished side to side and twitched.

Bro he’s not lying about the hooks opening up I snagged a log that was about 4 -5 inches wide and 5 foot long.. hook didn’t even budge… 😂
Musky fishermen knew this year’s ago while Muskie fishing
Even Ben uses a snap on that draw, ok cool
M fr series
75 bucks and you didn’t even catch a fish while you were showing me how you work it.
If you designed it, why mod it?

He modifies it to suspend more depending on conditions. I swear people don’t pay attention and are stupid as fuck. Wake up kid
