I highly doubt any fish is going to hit it when you're ripping it at the speed of light. That speed translates to actual real world speed in the water as well. Try it in clear water right next to you and see just how ridiculous that ripping speed is. Also, no need to rip it 10 feet at a time. Fish follow these things for awhile, twitch it with 12 inch yanks, keep the fish interested or else they'll just swim off if their prey is swimming at the speed of light.
