Yea no this one just feels like bribing to me and I don't like that making the customer service worker feel pressured into doing a favor for you Don't like it at all. You're a millionaire. Pay for the upgrade.
That last one. Please people don’t do that sandwich thing. It’s considered a bribe it looks terrible. Just be nice and if you want to tip us do it at the end because YOU want to.
Oh man, if someone gave me a $20 when I was still working at hotels, I'd definitely upgrade them to something nice. No one ever did, but some were definitely very nice and I would upgrade them on just that alone. 😁

I worked in an Arena where NBA games are played and trust me tipping someone in a bribery manner 100% gets you what you want trust me where under paid so those tips go a long way when i was tipped i made sure my guests were good and happy period
If youre paying that much for a deluxe room at the Aria you're doing it wrong. Edit: the strip view upgrade is barely an upgrade and most get that for free if they ask and its available
Finally, book directly with the hotel, not on 3rd party websites. I got a suite 👍.
True...Decades ago, I was told something similar by the owner of a boutique hotel in Sydney.
True, I work at an hotel and i choose wich room you are staying.
Nice people always gets the best
Okay so this does and doesn’t work. Sometimes they just take the $20. Do your research on that one guys

People - please do the sandwich thing if you choose to. You're an adult and it's your money.
Love this I travel a lot..... I will use this❤️
Your info is the best ! Learned a lot !
Everyone I tipped $20 bucks did not give me an upgrade. Just asking nicely is all that works. The tips seemed to work against us.

I love aria. Love the view too
A huge problem is in Vegas more and more of the hotels are going 100% digital check in staff.
Have a great time at your party!! Thanks for the tips!
That's called a bribe.
This is a tip I would be willing to use.
Girl I need a room in Vegas in December!
Oh you classy and smooth.
Excellent
Or maybe just tell them that you're a vlogger (like she did) and that you will promote the Hotel, LOL

@@BlairAnsor You're defending a vlogger lmao. How much lower do you want to go?
Question.. is it safe to eat that sandwich?
This always works everywhere in my country Malawi

Are check in staff allowed to accept tips?
Strange.
Doesn’t work in Europe
Okay so now you gonna get the aria employee in trouble for yapping lol 😂
A $20 bribe seems kinda cheap!? It’s also a gamble, because they could just take it and not move you, or worse downgrade you lol

Isn’t that considered a bribe?
I did the sandwich tip but ended up getting no upgrade
Must be nice to be able to buy what you want
Would a video like this get the staff in trouble?
Doesn’t this only apply to hotels on the nicer end? As opposed to like a cookie cutter Marriott where all of the rooms are basically the same
Usually like the advice on here, but not sure about that 'sandwich' business, sounds like bribery to me
$20 upgrade
Oooooooooh yeahs
Corruption girl
