The little Mexican place almost to circus circus on the other side of the road. From the main strip it's a little past Ross. It's my favorite meal in Vegas currently, I am not fancy.
Hawaiian place at Plaza was one of the new tips for me. I'll definitely remember that. I was all about Raising Canes, which is still good, but then Dave's Hot Chicken hit the scene 🔥🔥🔥 .....Have you been to Pacific Island Taste yet? Great food and Live Hawaiian Music on Saturdays at noon ...545 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104
I can attest, I went to elope in Vegas and our entire week trip after was was completely planned around your suggestions. We had a BLAST and I’m so grateful for your amazing content ❤❤❤
The cheap eat place I really like is the Taco Bell Cantina on the center strip It's Taco Bell with loud music, alcohol, great people watching, TV lounge, and a wedding chapel. Also an amazing view on the 2nd floor overlooking the strip.
Ruby, my husband and I met you at The Cosmopolitan last week. You were so gracious and spent time chatting. Hope your friend had a lovely birthday celebration. I'm the one who was inspired by you to create my own Louis Vuitton lock necklace. By the way, you are very pretty in your videos, but even prettier in person! Thank you for all you do. Hope you love living in Las Vegas, as we do!
Thanks so much for mentioning when there’s a vegetarian option! Having a good recommendation for even just one or two additional places that could have an option for us are such a nice reassurance when you’re visiting a city for the first time. We already were considering Evel Pie and now we’ll definitely try to go
Grand Lux Cafe located inside the Venetian (also one in the Palazzo) has delicious food under $20 with huge portions. You can bring in outside drinks too!
Thanks for making this video, Ruby! With skyrocketing cost of living pretty much everywhere, I suspect this content will become more and more requested. Perhaps a video on cheap transportation options might be good. I was reading about different bus routes you can take from the airport to downtown, and it was admittedly a little confusing (route 108 vs 109 vs CX, etc). That kind of thing is another big money saver, I'm sure, versus just ubering or taxis.
I was considering trying to go downtown from the airport via bus too! I’ve sorta just resigned myself to a taxi though in favor of time saved since we’re going in for an event. Maybe once I get there I’ll try to figure out the routes a little better for next time
I don’t recommend buses for airport. The RTC employees were mentioning buses don’t have luggage racks. And they get a lot of complaints. Use the shared transport services. Compare prices to Uber though. Between downtown and strip definitely use the Deuce.
Taking the RTC bus from the airport to the strip or downtown can be a real joykill. The buses have no luggage racks, you will be cramped on cluttered buses. You then have to carry your heavy luggage from the bus to hotel lobby, depending on hotel that can be a 15 to 25 minute hike. Not worth being cheap. There are shuttle bus services to & from the airport that serve strip & downtown hotels, cost $15-20. Taking the strip bus called the Deuce is ok for getting around the strip & downtown only, but only if you don't have valuables or lots of shopping bags. Monorail, uber/lyft, taxi are sometimes better options.
I LOVE your channel! Went to Vegas for the first time two years ago and sorely miss it. I love being able to "revisit" through your videos. Thank you so much! Hattie B's and the Peppermill were two of my favs!
Secret Pizza at the Cosmo is a must.Ellis Island is the best for food and gaming these days. Fulton Fish fry has amazing walleye fillets! Hattie B’s and Holstein’s at the Cosmo are both great.
I love Ruby's versatility - rating $100 buffets as well as the cheapest eats in town. Either way, I want everything I see when it's being talked up by Ruby. RIGHT?!
Great Video Guys! I would consider Metro pizza at Ellis island on Thursdays 2 for 1 specials on Pies & Slices all day long I paid $3.61 for 2 huge slices of pepperoni and a 32 oz fountain drink 👏Keep up the great work & Hope to see y'all soon
Ruby-This may be your best food video. First, Pinkbox donuts are the best in the city, bar none. I get them every week. The Steak and Shake burger special, is just that-$4.99, awesome. Eatily prices, here in Vegas, while being a touch high, are much cheaper than it’s sister properties in New York City. And the Ocean restaurant in Planet Hollywood, while the prices went from $5.00 to $5.99, the quality, and selection is top notch. Thanks.
While definitely an off Strip option every time you mentioned breakfast all I could think about was the Blueberry Hill restaurants in Vegas. Their menu is great any time of the day with great prices and huge portions, but I usually hit them at breakfast when going on adventures outside of town.
@@TravelRuby Agreed, that's the best thing to do for most tourists. I used to visit Vegas every January and I'm not a gambler or big fan of the glitzy Strip, so I developed a love for a lot of off Strip places. Don't get me wrong though, I also did SushiSamba at The Venetian at least once per trip and did a lot of the celebrity places and high end Strip restaurants over the years also. But quirky places like Forté Tapas, Naked City Pizza, Bachi Burger, and Gen Korean BBQ became mainstays for me.
I really appreciate all the information you provide to all your subscribers. You are always top notch and have used your advise while visiting Las Vegas. Thank you and keep filming!
Great video Ruby as always! Can't beat Ellis Island for cheap eats. Fantastic food & friendly service x keep up the sterling work - love your content x ❤ x
Thank you!!! Great video Ruby! I usually try to take care of my own breakfast so 1. Don’t have to worry about when to wake up 2. Cheaper to just eat in my room 3. Not wasting time having to go search for food in the morning. Always good to have your list on hand if I need a cheap eat.
Really like Ocean one for breakfast. Enjoy the food and atmosphere at 9 Fine and will enjoy it even more with buy one get one! We stay at Park a lot so Eataly is always a nice option. Tony Romas is great especially the prime. Thank you for your reviews!!
I went to Vegas for Labor Day weekend and am going again next month because I don’t feel like we really took advantage of what Vegas truly has to offer.. like all these dives. Mmm that’s the stuff. Literally going to make a list now of all the places from this video where I wanna go. Thx for being the most awesome Vegas tips and travel gal!
I absolutely love your videos. Me and my husband went to Las Vegas in 2019 for the first time. He's in a manual wheelchair and it was probably the most accessible and enjoyable vacay we've ever been on. We are now planned to go again in October and for the past few years I've been hooked watching your videos. On recommendation I have been playing my vegas slots for a few years. I have a question tho, the 2 for one buffets have been sold out, do they ever become available again? You're amazing, keep on doing what you do❤️
Great job Ruby, luv your content. Was glad to see you touch on Ellis Island twice. You made no mention of their $7.99 steak special, did they do away with it? Please advise and keep up the great work!
Hey Ruby, We just returned from Vegas, and wanted to say your videos were so helpful. We Loved the food at Ellis Island and made a point to get the Clam Chowder at Fultons Fish Fry. You are the Bomb. Thank you.
That was Super! Over the years I have been to many on your list. Casino Royal was fun . Binyons had a Steak from their farm for for $5.99 and people complained because $3.99 the week before and was fantastic. You did a great presentation on good cheap eats. Thanks for sharing.
OMG, the peppermill is still kicking around. Been over 20 years seen I've been there and was shocked how big the breakfast is. Glad to see they haven't changed.
Mrs. Ruby - you are best - I love watching your channel, your content creation and your personality reign supreme - keep going and much success to you! I'm coming to Vegas in October. Thank you.
Lots of great deals in this video! I'm glad you showed Evel Pie...I love that place! I had that slice and beer deal 3 times during my last trip. I will definitely need to check out some of the taco spots that you showed. I've only ever had the tacos at Pinches Tacos in the container mall. Have you ever been?
Great places to go for good food on a budget in Vegas! I’ve been to Las Vegas many times and I didn’t know of the many places to visit. Thank you for this information!😊
Thanks for the very thorough food video presenting a myriad of great eating options. Gave me some ideas where to eat on my next trip to Vegas. Well done!
Thanks Ruby, loved this video. One of my favorites is Ellis Island. Their fish n chips is great.......large portion and good price. Always excellent beer choices too.
Grand Lux in Venetian and Palazzo has a breakfast buffet that is a great value for on Strip dining. It’s around $25 per person and includes coffee/juice. It’s nothing crazy like the big buffets but it's good and has all the breakfast basics. They even have a little omlette station. Also Huey Magoos is legit. Their crinkle fries are so good!
I watched one of your other vid's where you mention a seafood place that you have to queue for. It has a small seating area. You rated it very highly. Coming to Vegas 11.11.24 so hoping to try it out. Thanks in advance !
Such a good video! I somehow always get screwed on Vegas eats! I will cite this next time for sure. Your editing and transitions are fantastic too! Very easy to watch. Definitely 'scribed!
Coronado cafe midnite special steak eggs is HAPPY PLACE $6.50 good steak too. Nice portions. Starts at midnite with a line but line is short by 1:30-2am.
The first time I went to Vegas and stayed at SouthPoint for 5 days. It was a convention, so no gambling. I definitely didn't bring enough for food , so I ate $1.50 hotdogs all week! 😅
could u pls do a video of affordable restaurants that can accommodate slightly bigger groups of people after a small wedding (like 20 people total) and have mini rooms to make the occasion just a tad special even if bride and groom aren’t wanting it to be lavish. it is still a special occasion so i’m trying to help them out with finding a dinner place since we aren’t vegas locals and do not know a whole lot about vegas eats to know except maybe try the regular chain type restaurants like olive garden. love ur channel
Great suggestions! My surprise personal favorite was the eggplant parmesan at Trevi (Caesars Palace) for $19! It was amazing and our wonderful server sat us right next to the fountain.
Urth Cafe at the Wynn for sure deserves a mention. If you have not been it’s a must. So fresh and great quality food and by far the best deals at the Wynn.
Awesome video! Lot of cool options I am adding to my list. Greensburg deli is usually my first stop on every trip to Vegas their sandwiches are amazing!
Thanks for watching! What is your favorite spot for cheap eats in Vegas?
The noodle house at the Venetian.
The little Mexican place almost to circus circus on the other side of the road. From the main strip it's a little past Ross. It's my favorite meal in Vegas currently, I am not fancy.
Imma have to say Bar one Grill in Planet Hollywood, there’s special for everything all day long
It's worth noting that Bellagio has a 2-for-1 buffet on MyVegas now too!
Hawaiian place at Plaza was one of the new tips for me. I'll definitely remember that. Anyone who goes to Las Vegas without checking out your content first, is doing themselves a terrible disservice. Keep up the great work Ruby!
I agree. I'm currently researching my first trip to Vegas.
I'm doing the same, my first visit, just done the 20 worst scams and rip offs video, made a list for myself. Now this for cheap eats.
Amen!
