Aw thanks Angela! I know. I wish I posted more too! I've been in school this semester so it's taken up more of my time. But you're in luck! I have another one to post this week :) yay! Thanks for watching! - Dana
This is a generic comment... I did a search for easy/beginner quilting and found your channel. I'm in love with your stuff! You explain everything, and give me confidence to do the things!! #addicted
Thanks for the idea of using the pin at the beginning of the fabric, because lots of times I get problems with the fabric sticking in the machine 😖👍👍 thanks
Dana, nr 6 when u open the topp of your machine( or 8 on your machine is perfect for knitt fabric min 2:55) this are great if you want to sew straight:) ❤
For anyone who has an old machine from their grandma,(1970 or older). Many machines have a zigzag disc that you insert typically on the top. I had to learn that when I got my grandmothers machine. I was confused for a good few hours till she finally found them and told me 😅
I have a 1948 singer machine that I love! It can sew thru anything. A few yrs back I bought a brand new brother portable machine off a gal brand new in the box. It was exciting because I can’t remember when I’ve used a new machine. ( though I do have a Husqvarna serger ). Anyway I chuckled when I found out it was a 1985 machine and they referred to it as “vintage”. They don’t know what vintage is!!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve always put off working with knits because they’re very intimidating. I was given some ribbed knit that I’d like to use in making a dress for my granddaughter, but I’m not sure which way it goes. Do the ribs go vertical or horizontal? Thanks for sharing this video!
Hi Dana I really love the grey T-shirt in your profile pic with the ruffle sleeves!! Did you make that-as I’d really love to know the pattern! Thanks for your great tutorials, I’ve made so many of them over the years x❤😊
aw thanks! It's actually from Target. haha. But I should make a video on how to sew those kind of sleeves! Others have asked before too. Thanks for the feedback and for watching/making along! :) - Dana
Thank you, Dana. You are the only one who makes sewing machine work look easy!
OMG 😱 it's so great to see you! I'm stoked you're still making vids 😅 I'm in need of sewing inspo 😔 😟 I've avoided it for almost 8 months now 😢
Hahaha. Thanks Mindy! I hope you're excited to sew again!

So informative, thank you so much! Never knew what to do about my machine eating my fabric. Thank you!!!
Hahaha. Yes, it still happens to me often with knits. It's frustrating, but that pinning tip helps so much. I do it all the time now!

I noticed towards the end, you showed some children’s clothing made of fleece (I think) is fleece considered knit as well?
I can't seem to find the pattern for the strawberry patterned dress you mentioned. I really like the design. Where can I find it?
she mentioned that it's a hack on her summer day top pattern. she has the pattern for sale on her website.
@@aracelysee9665 Gotcha! Thank you 😊

MADE Everyday - My old 1986 Kenmore 16 stitch won't feed through like yours! It puckers even with a walker foot. Anyone got a tip?
I have the worst time with knits! My machine will skip stitches so bad on zigzag, I don't understand why 😭 I have changed needles all with no luck
Tras cuatro meses, aparece de la nada. 😱😱😱😱🤦🤦🤦🤦
