Great video I’d be tempted to edge the neck and armholes with self fabric binding or some jersey binding but for speed the hem technique looks good for an under shirt.
I’ve been searching for a good tank top pattern and I believe I just found it and it could not be easier, thank you so very much. I love the video, I’m learning a wealth of information, your teaching makes learning so easy and fun!
When serging, shoule we also be doing a stitch with the sewing machine next to the serged stitches (example: along the sides of the garment)? I notice some commercial garments seem to use this method..
@@ecmproductions11 like a bloomer you wear as bed shorts or under short dresses or skirts. Yeah I want to do another scarf tutorial. What kind of scarf should I make?
@@SewAnastasia yeah yeah like the old school style. Gotcha. Hmm I personally don't really wear them because it doesn't get cold enough here. Upon a Google search it's more of a kitting thing. Well I'm just throwing some ideas around in that case haha.
Hi there, thanks so much I want to make this today. I see after you put it on that the arm pit area is too big flaring out, which I want to avoid. Should I just cut the pattern a bit more narrow in that area? Thanks so much : )
Thanks for the demonstration. Very help.
I'm glad you found the demonstration helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

It would look beautiful with those techniques. I hope you give it a go.

They get faster the more you sew them. I am happy to hear it turned out great :)
Fake? No. It is not fake. There are 4 small seams and 4 small hems.
Lol I finally know what that weird zigzag stitch is called and when to use it!
Haha, now you can impress all your friends with your newfound knowledge of the zigzag stitch! 🧵
Fabulous great instructor
Thank you kindly

Another excellent video tutorial. Great work as always! What else do you have on your list? Or is the upcoming video always tucked away haha.
Thank you, We have a fun bloomer video coming up next!
@@SewAnastasia bloomer as in the underwear style? That's the only thing that comes to mind. A scarf would be a great addition this time of year.

Hi I was wondering if you use a regular sewing machine, do you need to use a ballpoint needle or a walking foot (or both)? Thanks, helpful video!
Both would make sewing easier for sure. It really depends on the fabric but over all yes.
Hi I love your UA-cam videos
Thank you 😊

Hi. Thanks for the video. I had one question. Which hand sewing techniques are good for tank tops, if you don't wanna pull out the sewing machine?
Hummm I would probably whip stitch it! Whip it, whip it good. Haha 😂

Yeah you can take it tighter to avoid that or make a bust adjustment on the pattern. It really depends on the size of your bust.

Remember to leave a little extra for seam allowance!
The pattern includes seam allowance. I’m not sure what you are referring to?
Another great tutorial! One question: which brand snip are you using?
