Great video. I suspect I had Candida (as in, I had the symptoms but did not test for it as doctors here in New Zealand don't seem to "believe" that Candida is a thing for anyone but the immune system compromised such as those with HIV). I tried Horopito (Kolorex supplement which is widely available here in NZ) along with Caprylic acid and Undecylenic acid. There was some improvement but the symptoms were not eradicated. I would later strongly suspect that I had oxalate issues (again not tested because NZ doctors don't believe it's an issue) and I got on top of that with a very low oxalate diet. I then hit the Candida again with the same regimen as above and it seemed to knock it out. From much reading on the subject, I suspect that the oxalate issues made my system acidic which created an inhospitable environment for good bacteria and Candida went a bit crazy. Gut issues are incredibly complicated and there's so much to consider. Thank you for all your videos which are very informative!

I have been monitoring my urine ph all day and noticed when I drank those "healthy" green smoothies my urine ph would get acidic, and also when I ate almonds and berries together. So I think I will try what you did. I also got an OAT test which tests for oxalates. Thanks for your comment!

Anyone know if horopito can cause constipation? I'm trying to knock down (triple-digit) methane overgrowth at the same time, and found when I upped my dose of horopito, the constipation resurged. I'm just not sure if it's from the horopito or the gluten I trialed (D'oh! reason to do one thing at a time, dummy!). I have been drinking more water, as recommended. Anyway, thanks, Todd, for another informative, actionable video; I especially love the quickies like this--so much great info in such a short time frame! And I really I feel yah, @stickmanbangkok; in the US, most docs don't believe fungal overgrowth is a thing in non-immune-compromised patients either--even when a patient has multiple types of fungal infections at a time! Thank goodness for resources like this so we can take our health into our own hands when we need to.
no its cause bpwel movements because its hot , you doing something wrong , use liver cleance formulas ginger + avocado use enzymes like digestive basic enzymedica it could be your issue also lack of enzymes from pancreas or ptituitary cause cancer and alot of biofilm

Hmmm. I was going to guess garlic would make top 5. I have strong suspicion that my gut issues are mainly fungal. Im poor so dont have $ to see the right practioner so i really appreciate these videos. I have poor circulation to my toes (reynauds) so galangal and horopito seem like yhe way to go. Oregano doesnt seem to do much to alleviate anything. I guess ill try cloves. Since im on constipation side, might not be a good idea on the pomegranate so thanks for the educational list

What kind of dosage do you suggest? Can I use oregano oil alone? What about Black Cumin seed oil?
When using oregano oil under the tongue, you must go full force ahead because if you don't they become resistant to it. 😊
