And to think Alois is my current table tennis coach
2 reasons why I love Pingskills :
1. The enthusiasm
2. The music (can you mention the name of the background music in the description, please? :P)
+Detherocable Thanks for the kind words. As for the music I can't remember exactly which tune I used for this but it would have come with the iMovie and Final Cut Pro software.
Hey guys, just wanted to thank you for posting these videos. They've been of great help for me! I'm not very good and play a few times a week and I gotta say that your explanations on effects, serves and strokes have given me a much better approach to table tennis. Keep your tutorials coming! Greetings from Argentina!
PS: I feel more comfortable playing with my backhand and Jeff's is dreamlike! I'm trying to copy his technique. And Alois, I've seen the video in which you beat an Italian guy, you were amazing!
gabrfernan Thanks for the kind words. It's great to hear that our videos are helping. Make sure to check out the PingSkills website too and sign up for our free newsletter, we send out tips each week!

Jeff.

Great job !
oh oh oh...yaheas yehaas!
Yessss indeed!
fuck
Awesome!!! My ping skills are getting better .. thanks to you guys...
Hi William,
He's been practicing it for years! He explained it like throwing the ball up rather than rolling it over from side to side. Try thinking of it like that and seeing how it goes. Good luck.
Cheers,
Jeff.
As long as you have a decent bat, you can generate spin. It's all about having a fast brushing contact on the ball!
lol i thought that was the panda from Dude Perfect xD
Alex Lopez i know im a year late but maybe thats an easter egg cuz of the tricks XD
me too
Yeah same but late

Hey ping skills I love your videos and I have subscribed. your videos fulfill all my table tennis needs. thank you
Alois and Jeff best online Coaches!!
Hi Michal Zajac,
The key to getting the ball bouncing back over the net is generating lots of backspin. To do this you need a decent bat that has grippy rubber. Then you need to have a fast brushing contact coming underneath the ball to generate the backspin. Before trying this see if you can hit the ball onto the floor with backspin and have it roll back to you. If you can do this you can get backspin and then can start to try it on the table. Good luck!
What type of serve would you recommend for doing it?
Nevermind got it, and thanks alot!
Michal Zajac Good to hear.
+PingSkills I was going to ask this question when I just saw your reply. Thanks again for sharing.
+firendable It's good you can get it to work on the floor. Now at the table concentrate on getting the same contact with the ball and at first don't worry about getting it on the table but just worry about generating the spin. Keep practicing!
THIS WAS AWESOME!!! Why are people disliking this??
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
That was WAY fun!
These guys are so sick they could beat me blindfolded!!!!!
Yeeeees!!
We did get pretty excited :)

Why are you guys so freaking good?!
+Simon Genkinger/Santos Practice :)
Hi Cole Riemer,
In that case you win the point. If your opponent doesn't touch the ball then it's your point.
is it legal? is it allowed?
Yes.
Hey jeff and alois i was wondering how you do that one serve where it bounces on your side, then opponents and spins back on your side.
musisz uderzyc pilke od dolu i nadac jej backspin
good work.
table tennis is the most beautiful sport in the world
Some of my friends who saw this video said they would just slam this extreme back spin... little do they know, with the spin these guys put on the ball, your slam would hit bottom of the net before you could say "yesss!". Good video.
+Tyler Alfrey Thanks! If your friends are very good then they might be able to smash a few of those serves!
best table tennis channel
Thanks!
Ansh rohit nooooooooooo !!!

Try these serves in the matches against your opponent and then he would be the one to say YESSSS!!
Indeed Manveen Singh
PingSkills if we do a serve on 0:40 and the opponent ddoesn'ttouch it whose point is it ?? mine or opponents ?
Manveen Singh It's yours! Your opponent must actually hit the ball or they lose the point.
well thank you for your help.... I have tried this and was successful. but i only had this one confusion..
The serves are so high and slow
Thanks and I will take a look at your website now.
You people act like children.... cool : )
I'm glad I found your videos. We had a ping pong table for about 2 years but had no place to put it. Now we do and set it up. My 7 year old and I are just learning. How that I've watched your videos, I feel I have a better understanding on how this works. Big thanks!
You're welcome. If you ever have any questions make sure to use the "ask the coach" section of the PingSkills website. It's great that you are learning with your 7 year old. Enjoy!
You guys are so pro

hey ive been playing for about 8 months and ive had opposition that say that I really should get a better serve considering that i have now become the top singles player on my team, what serve would you suggest?
AWESOME!
Thanks. I'm glad you liked the video!
Them skills! Hope I will be able to such things one day :D
Thanks Sebastian Mahammid, with practice I'm sure you'll be able to do some of these tricks!
PingSkills I hope so :D Oh have you guys been making a vid covering sidespin serves and sidespin "shots"? I've seen that backhand one.
you gotta teach us this!!
Hi! Is it smart to use this serve in a match? (The backspin serve)
Awesome
These guys are gods
what kind of paddle are you using? is yours made custom?
Hi, thank you for the videos, very useful really. Can I ask your racket brand and model name please?
I use the PingSkills Touch with Xiom Vega Pro.
It's things like this that make the game interesting to me. Granted, I've never played on anything but a recreational level, and by that I mean family members in my uncle's basement whacking a ball around. I stumbled onto this channel yesterday or the day before and I've been binge watching the videos ever since. One question I have is, what happens if the ball bounces off the hand holding the paddle instead of the paddle but the ball still crosses the net?
+Explosions & Stuff The ball can come off your hand as long as it is holding the bat and it still counts. You can't hit the ball back without the bat in your hand.
I have been trying to do a very good underspin serve and i watched your video on the serve but when i try to practice it either dosent come back very good or it just bounces twice regularly. SHould i keep my bat flat and where should i place my fingers?
See if this video helps you out - ua-cam.com/video/hg_wC5-HT-0/v-deo.html
Hey, Would you give us some exercise to practice at home, only using a bat and ball, with no table, for learning serves? Like producing different kinds of spins!
Sure, take a look at this for some ideas - www.pingskills.com/tutorials/training-tips/practicing-alone
And for serving, try serving onto the floor and getting the ball to spin back to you. You can also try serving onto a bed and play around with different types of spin.
Good luck!
Thanks.
no need expensive table tennis school we got PINGSKILLS
so fun
nice video
wow wonderfull performance
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
which blade/rubbers do you use?
yess
Hey
Are there any videos on how to conceal the serve effectively and how can I get the different types of spin while concealing my serve to prevent the opponent from easily judging the kind of spin he will get.
Thanks
It's now illegal to hide the serve with your body so the key is to vary your spin, speed, and placement. We have a whole series on serving - www.pingskills.com/table-tennis/serving-secrets/
Ur backspins ones are very cool
Thanks Juned Ahmed. I'm glad you liked them.
Alois and jeff your my idols:)
You're too kind Jordo
Yes
What rubber do you use? (sorry for my english)
What rackets do you guys use and are there any under good ones $40 you would recommend for an intermediate player?
+Aleem Yawar It's hard to find good quality bats for that price. I have heard the Palio Expert Master bats are good so maybe check them out.
