Tbh I am 8 hours in the game and still stuck in the tutorial boss, I have stopped playing for months now and just watched videos to learn parrying etc but everytime I try the game again I die instantly during a roll/dash even tho I tried my first tries just doging around the boss instead of trying to do damage at all like some youtuber said you will learn the patterns that way, fuck that when the rolling already sucks unlike in battlefront 2 where your dashes actually mean that you have your safe space during a fight.

I've been stuck at aldrich for like a year. I can only play the game 30-60 minutes at a time. I get anxious just thinking about those big tree things in the swamp and how many times I hurled my controller because of those things.

Crystal Sage and Aldrich are much harder as a sorcerer than they usually are with other builds. When I did my NG+7 sorcery only playthrough the toughest fights were Aldrich, Friede and Demon Prince. The latter 2 are just tough bosses in general ofc, but Aldrich can really become a wall if you only have access to magic and dark damage. I just ended up using Pestilent Mist. lol I like that though, DS3 feels like the bosses were clearly designed in a way that different builds will face different challenges.

You should try this on ver. 1.15, when I fought the gravetender I saw that if you kill him before the wolf arrives, the wolf will only circle around you not attacking you at all. Which allows you to kill the wolf freely with no trouble at all. Helped me tremendously because I was having trouble with that fight.
