I would love to see a supergroup form out of whats left of 90s seattle bands. Go on tour with guest singers and perform all those great songs again.
I think we have seen just that from these two concerts in tribute to Taylor Hawkins RIP.
But yes I would like to see more great musicians get together. I am thankful that I got to see Chris Cornell back in the 1990s.

I wish they would tour with Taylor. She has a great feel for Chris's vocal style. It would have been great to see Taylor sing a Nirvana song, Taylor H. loved their music. He really looked up to Dave as a mentor because of Nirvana.

Ritchie Kotzen should have been tapped to sing this song!! He sounds a lot like CC and already killed an Audioslave song a few years ago!! I don’t know why they haven’t grabbed him and done a Soundgarden Tour!! This ex-actress is OK for what she does with her “band”, but this song needs a man’s voice to give it a proper sound…. Sorry, but true!!

@@hdentaldude A male singer isn't a good idea. People would never stop comparing him with Chris. All you would hear is "he's not as good" or "he's trying to copy him." Taylor has a great voice, is friends with the band and brings something new to the table. She'd be ideal to move forward.

Check the bulgarian band called Der Hunds. Their vocalist is the guy for the job. Taylor did fine though.

Taylor Momsen manages to invoke the golden age Grunge vibe well, her voice is perfectly suited for all kinds of music, although it is sweet it manages to be raspy and grating at the same time.
She does justice in every tribute she has been to date, she always ends up picking more than one song, all the musicians involved obviously enjoy collaborating with her. Hawkins' tribute she was a last minute guest and without rehearsing did two songs, Soundgarden's she was only going to do Loud Love, and got three more songs without rehearsing.
She is one of the best things that happened to rock n roll in the last decade, a real gift.
We can agree to disagree.. She may be perfectly fine on some other songs, but the lower register here is just not good.. Upper range is meh 🫤..
They also asked her to sing a song from one of the best vocalists of the grunge era, which is no easy task.. Just not my favorite rendition of the song, and I’ve heard quite a few do it much better….
