Yuji Itaodri is nothing more than a cog in the machine that pushes the Jujutsu World forward. Think of the Jujutsu World as a machine, a machine that works to balance the nature of the entire world. When a large power suddenly manifests, others quickly follow. In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, every single sorcerer has a role to play to make this machine run smoothly. Every Sorcerer is binded to this machine, and they all have their own role to act. When someone with immense power like Satoru Gojo is born, the world balances itself by having strong opposing threats appear. When Gojo’s students like Kinji Hakari, Yuta Okkotsu and even Yuji Itadori appear with potential high enough to push them to a rank far beyond Special-Grade, other strong Curse-Spirits and foes appear too. It’s the world's natural way of maintaining itself, and no one is more aware of this than Yuji Itadori. Yuji understands his purpose in the Jujutsu World, he knows that in the grand scheme of things he’s nothing special. Yuji Itadori doesn’t kill Curses for vengeance or glory, he exercises Curses because it’s his duty as a sorcerer. Unlike other protagonists, Yuji realized that he’s nothing more than the guy who has to complete his job which he serves as a Jujutsu Sorcerer. But currently, Yuji’s role in the machine seems to be mostly complete. He’s no longer Sukuna’s Vessel and he’s not destined to die like he was in the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen, aside from exercising Curses Yuji has no purpose or destiny. For as long as we’ve known Yuji, he’s never had any control over his own life. Even something as small as the club we’re introduced to Yuji in chapter one, Yuji didn’t sign up for just like the rest of his life that followed, until now. Yuji is free from his role as Sukuna’s vessel and his job as that cog is complete. In this video I’ll be explaining how Yuji’s going to break down the entire machine itself, and destroy the very thing that even forces those as strong as Satoru Gojo or Ryomen Sukuna to play their own parts. Like events are manipulated to where he will live and not if he dies he just stands back up and is 100% again. An example would be sukuna healing him after killing him. The restriction manipulated fate so he'd get healed instead of just fully dying.

Yuji's the closest we'll get to a shonen/new gen Guts
Always felt Toji was Guts in JJK verse. Him and Gojo honestly felt a bit like Guts and Griffith on a powerscaling perspective. Gojo being a peak sorcerer of of the modern era and Toji being a mere human. The same way Griffith & Guts have a ying & yang dynamic due their symbolism, Toji & Gojo both represent the different ends of enlightenment. One is heavily restricted & reject the world for what it is. The other is limitless and accepts the world for what it is. Also Toji finds love just like Guts. And Gut’s child is partly Griffith’s child. And in JJK, Toji literally hands his son to Gojo 💀 I was a hardcore Zerk fan so discovering jjk for the first time and witnessing that arc really made me appreciate GeGe as a writer. And everyone losing their shit over what’s happening in the manga but honestly it all seems very fitting for the story and narrative that GeGe is writing

I believe it's just gonna end up being a Sukuna vs Sukuna fight.
Yuji is just gonna turn into Gojo full psycho against cursed spirits and enjoy the killing of cursed spirits but unlike Gojo Yuji will get a bloodlust for killing cursed spirits. Yuji is gonna become the real merger and force eat cursed spirits trapping them inside him preventing them from reincarnating until Yuji dies .
This is a decent theory. I mean I also had a theory about his ct being able to absorb and fuse with the soul of whatever he consumes into his soul kind of like a grim reaper.
You think that Yuji might turn into a Carnage Toji in his battle against Sukuna?
I don't think gaining a bloodlust would be in Yuji's character, but I do believe that he's definitely going to devote his life to the extermination of cursed spirits. In this way, he becomes another Calamity, with Sukuna being a calamity for humanity and Yuji being the calamity for curses. Just like both Sukuna and Gojo, he'll believe himself to be superior over cursed spirits, thus gaining a new level of understanding of Jujutsu and his own world.

I don’t know if you’d care but it’s stated that if yuji were to eat the other cursed death painting it would boost his stats, im not sure but from what I remember it would add to his cursed energy, and possibly if one of the death paintings is powerful enough, develop a relationship like the one yuji and sukuna had, ofc yuji acting as a vessel for said death painting, and the same goes for any other type of cursed object

I genuinely don’t know what type of power Yuji will show us in the coming chapters… do the sharp hands mean he’ll have dismantle and cleave or are they merely gauntlets that boosts his physical capabilities. I just hope whatever power gege decides to give our MC it’s epic and unique. Him eating the death paintings and having their abilities seems kind of boring to me but in a way I guess it makes sense since he was made to be a vessel. Yuji deserves a win since he’s held L after L the entire series so far. Our boy needs some love ❤️

I don't think Yuji has Sukuna's power at this moment (in any physically obvious way). I think he has the Death. Painting powers. They were given to him by Choso, so he probably. ate them considering the context. So to me the idea is: Death Paintings are within Yuji, and unlike Sukuna they decided to AID him, he is their brother after all. Yuji is still a perfect vessel, but he's a general vessel, not a Sukuna specific one. Sure he was CREATED to be Sukuna's vessel, but... does he have to be? Following this logic: Yuji's ability to retain control still exists, and no matter what he eats, he will still have control. All of those possessed people during the Culling Game? If Yuji ate any of those cursed objects he would still end up being Yujii.
Now comes the question: how is he manifesting the powers? Those claws? Well like I sad Death Paintiings are choosing to help their brother. So depending on his relationship with the curse, or sorcerer if that's the case, entity he eats if you will, with their aid he could manifest their powers- aka Naruto method. But it didn't work with Sukuna because.... Sukuna's an asshole who hates Yuji more than anyone else on the planet.
Anyway that's the way I see it. Who knows some remnant of Sukuna's power might've ended up. remaining in Yuji, but my. point is that. Yujii is a blank canvas that. in. a very. Jujutsu Kaisen way absorbs what is around hiim. And THAT. aspect is very mellow, and very. scary at the same time, plus fits the way Yujii sees himself., and why Sukuna hates hiim. THere's nothing there, just potential power, and nothing else.
To me Yuji and Sukuna. are the same, but reflected: Sukuna eats humanity, but admires it, Yuji eats curses, and hates them. Those are their roles. The problem with Yuji is that he has no desires aside from being a cog, or defeat Sukuna, but for him to truly rise up he needs to understand that. he is MORE than that, and that others around hiim, his Grandpa, Megumi, Nobara, others, Gojo and MVP chad that. is Nanami all wanted for him to actualise HIMSELF, his potential. The moment he thinks of himself for a bit will be the moment he bodies Sukuna.

Ok hear me out here......yuji isn't free and has one last purpose. Involving the massive cursed creature kenjaku was talking about. The death paints were brought back cause of kenjaku and put into yuji's path (giving him his new technique). Yuji has a body that can hold sukuna, kenjaku made them all. His plans are thousands of years old, hence the culling games, Yuji has never been more far from free his whole life.
Yuji dosent even have a insane cursed technique yet and everyone is hyping him up
then only thing keeping me going with JJK, is Sukuna / Kenjacku finally getting their just deserts and getting wooped.

He signed up to the occult club because it was the only one that finished early. Allowing him to go visit his grandpa, so he may have made some new friends but he wasn’t actively seeking that.

No, the point he was making was that Yuji wanted to sign up for the occult club, but the athletic club coach signed him up involuntarily for the athletics club. (That’s why Yuji was forced to compete with him at the very start of the story).

i do ask, did the sukuna ct output get clarified? because i saw that sukuna cursed energy wasn't affected, rather his cursed technique output was, that's what made yuji be able to sustain the cuts, but he was able to reinforce his body with cursed energy just fine

I don't think Yuji's purpose was to contain Sukuna. Him being able to do so is just part of his power.
Instead, Yuji is the prefect being that Kenjaku has always wanted to create. What makes him this? I have no idea. Yuji being able to consume cursed objects may be it. He hasn't been able to exploit his power since he had Sukuna. Yet we see that even though Sukuna left, Yuji hasn't lost any power; he seemingly kept it all. My only idea as of yet is that Tengen will be turned into a "god", but then he'll be turned into a cursed object that Yuji will be forced to consume.
This, on top of whatever Yuji already is, will create something even greater than a god.
we're just waiting for that sad ending.

i think megumi will regain some power of his body and will try to neck it in an attempt to end sukuna; but he won't be powerful enough. then yuji will use his soul swapping on megumi along with all the other skills he has learnt to end sukuna once and for all. and he will die surrounded again by the people he loves (which imo includes gojo cause mfs gonna get resurrected).
nobara 10000000% has to be alive and has to have sukuna's last finger, and she's gonna use that to start the end of sukuna. she wasn't even seen in limbo when gojo was talking to the others. and i think her presence back will be leading towards the end of jjk

I wanted to talk about Cursed Techniques having less effects if the Cursed Energy is that of the user.
I know Gojo said that but the blast still hit him hard not as hard as Sukuna of course but Reverse Cursed Technique was an option for him.
For Yuji unless he has RCT the less effects won't matter if they are constant although Yuji does have a insane healing factor as his wounds from the end of chapter 214 were mostly healed at end of chapter 215.
No one in the manga confirms that yuji has sukuna's CT nor is resistant to sukuna's attacks yet that is pure speculation 😒
@@Nana-ng1kz I do believe him having Sukuna's Cursed Techniques is debatable but he is soaked in Sukuna's Cursed Energy so having resistance to a certain extent is possible, granted resistance isn't enough some level of healing is essential although Yuji does have a strong healing factor.

so, every character is part of this machine including sukuna, kenjaku, gojo and yuji etc. however sukuna for instance enjoys being himself in this system, yuji does not. instead of playing inside of said system or abondoning that system (toji/maki) yuji may very well destory the sysetm/machine all together.

Honestly, I think Gojo will come back. But the theories so far have been wishful thinking and obvious. The series has gone out of its way to show that the biggest power up in CE is being close to or even being dead for real and to return. Makes also sense, because simbolicly thre are beating death, which is a feat im it's own right. Sukuna being dead and turned into 20 cursed objects to basicky only be able to exist inside a host, making him the closest to death and also the strongest. Exhisting in some form or way as character who is neither alive or dead. Making him perform and exist in a realm or league of his own, the same cane be said for Kenjaku making him also one of the strongest. Gojo who was close to basically dead managed to return and really get an enormous power up. Still he performs as a living sorcerer and sheer innate talent. The only way for Gojo to survive is by making sure all the deaths and casualties caused after he was sealed count for something a ritual conjuring the soul of Gojo and sealing it into cursed objects. Objects that will consist of 10 fingers and 2 blue eyes. Making the 6 eyes impossible to pass on to future generations and making Gojo as much a sorcerer turned curse as Sukuna. Gojo will return, but he will be exactly like Sukuna and the question would be how much of Gojo's morale will still be there.
I will die on the hill that Yuji will become the vessel for all of Japan when Kenjaku activated his plan, Yuji will convert the souls of Japan into his own body and become the vessel that surpasses the level of Special Grade and especially, the King of Curses, but being cursed to live forever.

Yuji has heart, he will most likely still die unfortunately but it’s great for his character. It’s the kind of character he is, he’s selfless, he believes everyone is more important than he is but now without Sukuna he can FINALLY choose for himself what he wants. That’s why higuruma is with him because if I’m mistaken higuruma encouraged yuji to question his morals, now he gets to fight next to him to see his answer for himself. Can’t wait, I’ve been saying yuji is a very underrated shonen mc, possibly the realest, we haven’t heard stuff like this in a while
In the past Gege said that JJK either end with Yuji alive and everyone else dead or Yuji dead and everyone else alive. Judging by how everyone is freaking dying I'd say Yuji will live.

What if Kenjaku created the cursed wombs aka Yuji’s half brothers so that when Yuji absorbs them he will have multiple arms legs and mouths like Sukuna with the ability to utilize all their techniques and they will reveal he had a twin brother whose body he absorbed and why he doesn’t care for external love since internally he’s never alone.
Yeah I think Yuji is basically “this cycle’s” Sukuna. Sukuna probably lived a similar life/had a similar fate - losing everyone around him and making him callous etc, yet I don’t really consider Sukuna evil, he’s just accepted his fate and understands that it means he has to play his inevitable role in the never ending cycle of cursed energy. Hence why he’s always saying that nobody really understands what curses and CE are. They’re inevitabilities, dualities that have to exist; similar to how Satan/evil mounts and is ultimately defeated only to inevitably rise again. Someone has to play that role of the primeval. It’s basically a sacrifice when you look at like that. Yuji will meet the same fate and either go the same route as Sukuna and all those before him, or will somehow find a different path, forever changing how CE and the cycles themselves operate and what the inevitabilities are.
