I was lucky, I was also the most athletic kid by a mile, so I'd just smoke anyone in their respective sport, and then sit down with my gameboy to keep chasing Raikou.
Every act of bullying made by these types of people is just an expression of their own insecurities at not being able to embrace their own passions. They hate themselves for not being able to express themselves at their most authentic, so they resort to bashing others who do - at the core of it always lies jealousy and trauma. Nice work on those figures btw!
imagine being such a broken jaded adult that you cant find even one bit of enjoyment out of colourful creatures masterfully 3D printed in all glory. Social media anonymity was a mistake, own your nonesense, and let people enjoy things. Fantastic work by the way, warms my 'OG 1999 Pokemon Blue for Christmas' Pokemon loving heart
Pokemon is my favorite franchise not because the games are amazing or because they're complex but because of the connection I build with my son we get to share our favorites and we get to talk about our games and we can play and help each other and I'll never forget the day my son beat Arceus on PLA he was having so much trouble even getting to the point of years but I told him to persevere and I knew he could do it, and that moment he got to beat him and capture him will be in his memories forever
The main problem with the Internet is that some people just want to feel powerful in a way here, but the only way to do that is to bring other people down (for them at least). It might be an extension of how they are in real life or an inferiority complex. Either way it’s sad, to see your only joy on the vast expanse of the Internet is just trolling and making people feel bad for what they enjoy. TLDR Enjoy what you do and ignore these types of people.
I agree with you. As others say i think Its more adult to enjoy what you Like. I Like Pokemon and Sonic. And also struggled a bit to embrace It because others make fun of it.But now i dont care what others think. Its a part of my interests.
Pokémon is for everyone. It makes me sad so many people write it off and that so many people don't know how complex the lore can get. I firmly believe there is a Pokémon out there for everyone and one of my favorite things to do is to put together Pokémon teams for people. I never grew out of Pokémon and it's honestly a big way I interact with other people as strange as it sounds. Those games meant so much to me when I was a kid and they still do now.
People will awalys try to "poop on your parade" especially if its something that makes you genuinely happy, grumpy sad people will always try to put their 2cents in beucase they have nothing better to do. As a fursuiter and fursuit maker, i stick out like a sore thumb for these people. But through that i have learnt that the less you take what others think seriously the happier you are. Its easy to say, but i belive being able to truly let go of what others think about you is the key to happiness.
Pokemon is a terrible game for kids in 2024. I've watched kids play pokemon and they just do not have the attention for these games. If anything the target audience will always be the kids of yesterdays, or rather the adults of today.
The world belongs to those who embraces their passions
It's certainly more enjoyable for those people in the long run. 😅
Mate, I'm 52 and playing Pokémon. Screw the haters.

I was lucky. I was the most autistic kid by a mile. So I just wouldn't care, or get that others were making fun of me for liking Pokémon
@serenitynow85 These are not autistic traits... that's just normal.
@@Urbrainongaming OK. I mean, you don't know me at all. But if you say so, it must be true

You’re chillin bruh collecting pokemon cards have brought me so much joy out of no where recently
The Pokemania era of 1998-1999 was a wonderful time to be a kid!
One of the last periods of time when being a kid was actually simple.
As a 24 year old with at least a dozen friends older than me who also like pokemon, you're not alone haha
I’ll never understand people who badmouth other peoples hobbies and interests
They're simply projecting their own insecurities
40 next year. And here I am, enjoying the TCG for the first time thanks to TCG Pocket
To the people who say pokemon is for kids, we should introduce them to ghetsis, froslass and Lysander’s ultimate weapon

i love this, so creative and is such a statement against losers on the internet!
you dont need and excuse to like something, there is no such thing as a "childish interest" anyone who thinks so has never truly grown up
p[okemon is for everone
Bro people have nothing better to do than be mouth breathers
