when i was about 5-7 years old i got my first Pokemon toy from a happy meal and it was the hopping Rowlet and i was so excited. I was playing with the Rowlet all day and took it everywhere with me, I have the Dialga toy that is still in my room to this day, and I also think i might have gotten the Lunala (I really wanted the Popplio the most though).
I got a 2011 pikachu when i was only a tiny little toddler and it's been there through all of my childhood, still have it to this day and it guards my closet
Not McDonald's, but this unlocked a core memory of me getting like gold cards of Pokémon from Burger King! I wish I kept up with all my collectibles from back then
The UK also got another Pokemon set in 2016 which had a ton of starters and my fav, a shiny magikarp. Some were re-released US ones we never got before, but others seemed unique (totodile, scraggy, meowth, dedenne, etc) Though elsewhere in Europe got different than we did with Vulpix, Jigglypuff and Togepi added into their 2016 set to replace the Sun/Moon starters. We also never got Zekrom and Reshiram in our legends set, so we got non-primal Groudon and Kyogre instead from what I can tell. Interesting to see the differences between regional happy meals lol

I live in a capital city and they were sold out like EVERYWHERE I managed to get Lunala, Solgaleo, Rowlet, Litten, Zekrom, Palkia and Tornadus - I remember being so upset I couldn't find Reshiram anywhere
omg so i've only ever had one of these toys (the Axew from 2012) and i was super excited to get it because i loved anything pokémon and grew up with very minimal exposure to it (i had a handful of hand-me-down cards, but never had a game until i was an adult, and had like no access to the anime or anything) and this really brought me back! i wish i still knew where that little guy was, but he's probably long-gone at this point. i would have LOVED the Woobat with the flapping wings as a kid! i've got a little figure of him with articulated wings, but being able to hold it and flap its wings to fly would have blown my mind lol (i'd put it in A-tier, personally)

After that they made Ben 10 toys, and one day while I was in a museum, they had a McDonald's inside and I was expecting to get some Ben 10 alien that I thought would be neat, but I wouldn't care that much about. Instead, I ended up getting a reshiram while they were selling the Ben 10 stuff (my younger brother got a Ben 10 toy). I'm not joking.
Here in Brazil the sun and moon set were diferent there was a pikipek toy that worked like the rowlet one and the rowlet was a disc trower also there was a rotom dex toy witch displayd sogaleo and lunala and there was another pikachu inside a electro ball that spins and a komala

It's wasn't a Legends Arceus based set, it was just a bunch of different legendary pokemon. Legends Arceus didn't come out for another 4 years after this.
I have the oras pikachu! It didn't light up because the wheels need to move faster :3 you'll know it's fast enough because it sounds like it's saying "CHUUUUUUUU" when it starts to spark!
why does your Black & White set look weird? Here in Argentina those were released mixed with some of the 2012 set but the 2011 ones were redesigned, Pikachu is much bigger and his hears are pointing downwards, Snivy has articulated arms, Zoroark look so much closer to the in-game model and Axew opens his mout and has a blue ball in the mouth that lights up
I had the Palkia and Thundurus from the 2018 legends set. I remember slamming Thundurus and loving the rumble. Though what I mainly remember are the promos I got from it. The Dratini and Pikachu. I loved how the Dratini looked, just the vibrant shiny blue which made realise my favourite TCG artist (Naoyo Kimura). I also have a 2 part story about the 2019 ones, specifically the French versions (the cards) (I got an Eevee and Alolan Sandshrew in English). So there is my family in a Mcdonald's at Disneyland Paris. I got a happy meal and there was this pack I got, it was a pack of some cute brand (idk, it had a bird on the front and it had pastel colours, clearly girly). I had already opened it, but IN THE CORNER OF MY EYE, I SOMEHOW notice that someone got a Pokemon card pack. I then proceeded to cry and whine like a little bitch. My mum went to the counter with the ALREADY OPENED PACK and asked for a Pokemon card pack (what went in my mind was if I already opened the toy, I can't get the other one). So I got the pack of Pokemon cards (Scyther, Paras (foil), Alolan Geodude and Alolan Sandshrew (foil, also important)) and went happily throughout the rest of the day. But this story has a twist. So at the hotel, my older brother took my cards and hid them under the couch cushions in the lobby. I was desperately looking, and then a gave up and sat on the cushion. And then I think I heard a tear. I look and see that my Alolan Sandshrew got a tear (near where the retreat cost and Pokedex entry would be). I then cried. I got 2023 cards aswell (Fuecoco, Flittle, Cyclizar and Sandaconda), the cashier gave me a look when I asked for a toy. I still have all the cards I mentioned, I love them :]. The toys are a different story.

the pikachu at 10:10 isn't a pull-back racer, the friction wheel is supposed to generate small sparks as it spins. Give it a try in a room that's dimly lit, I'm sure your filming set up is too bright to see the sparks!
I have that 2015 pikachu spark toy. It's friction based, you roll him back as fast as you could and it generates sparks which do light up in the tail. It was pretty neat but because it was friction based, his feet would get damaged over time the more and more you did it.
As for me, though, i have the exact opposite opinion of the Pokémon games. I actually prefer the red versions more than the blue versions. Here is a list of the very few blue versions of Pokémon games that I preferred: 1. Pokémon Moon. 2. Pokémon Ultra Moon. 3. Pokémon Sword. I've never been that into Pokémon toy collecting, to be honest,but I'm just glad that I finally found a UA-camr who prefers to play Pokémon Moon instead of Pokémon Sun.
