Ugggggh man my truck seems like it used to always live in the Landfills. Especially after a blue beacon wash lol or after a lot of rain. Dumpin Tire Chips, Glass and Ash mostly. Unlevel rutted out with super singles lol …I’m sure you already know…. always sum frameless “inch worming” work to get UNSTUCK and then the sweep outs of the medical ash before reloading a sand… I got out of the truck over year ago. Needed a break of many years of this I got burnt out. Watching your vids tho takes me back…. In a strange way I’m starting to miss it. Welllll I miss hauling the DIRT!!! Cause it pays good . Wish I could just haul that every day sand out in the am then dirt back then prop for the next day! Lol sounds like a dream to an end dump driver tho lol keep up the good work!
Welcome back Wes, missed you and your videos. Glad to see you are doing well and and staying safe. Keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
First time viewing the channel Wes what state are you located in? I’m Steven retired tri axle driver of 45 years I’m from Irwin Pennsylvania, enjoy the ride along with you. I hauled into landfills before and the trucks do get dirty 😊. God bless you and your family.
And for you folks who don’t know what those pipe looking things sticking out of the ground on the side of the hill as he’s backing up….those monitor the pressure of methane being built up underground and if the landfill needs to do a burn off then they will burn off the gas build up
Is there ever gonna another video...?.... Today first day back hauling pulp wood to Ticonderoga since covid, felt good! Hope to see a new video soon. Thanks.
I didnt see these weights since I was hauling demo into Antrim P.a. no, it wasn't legal for us . We had the trucks for it, but we had walking floors trailers that weren't . They were good trailers, just missing some axles . ..
Dry days can be bad too…. Especially when a lot of them tipper trucks always in a rush to get in the tipper line bringing a tornado cloud withem while your trying to either “roll your rag” or bungee up mud flaps. By the way how long is your trailer? Looks long I know most landfills don’t allow any 40 footers I’m guessing 38’?Also nice lookin w9! I like KW interiors better except that dang vicious green light on the switches that blind me at night. I prefer a 379/389 as a local driver not as heavy as a kw. My favorite was a amazingly super lite 379 day cab w super singles pulling a 36’ round bottom frameless “macsimizer” with a liner in the bed. Empty weight full tank was 26,680. Loading 26 50 tons Legal at 80000 an 28.50 ish tons 84000w 5% overload permit in Va. your trailer looking good also the motor in your W9 sounding good. 565 Cummins? ISX550?
The actual 1969 Woodstock concert was in Bethel, NY, just west of Monticello. I grew up just a few miles west of there, in Jeffersonville. When you see old pics of cars stuck on the side of the road, that's RT 17B. When they say cars were backed up to the thruway, I believe they meant along RT 17 from Monticello to the Harriman exit 16 on the Thruway.
There is a sentence that auto corrected my word to " hill " from gull and would not let me edit back to gull as in having the gull to say something just to set the record straight . I wouldn't doubt when I send this explanation on the word hill which I didn't write it changed it again but that's life 😀
Good to see your KW back on the road again and repaired. Your truck sitting next to the bosses truck, nice to see the two KW9 side by side. Delivering to some place new.
You make your truck wash plans in order to avoid getting your tires dirty. Meanwhile, many people wash their vehicles and never even touch the tires. In an operation like you work in, is it worth it to shine the tires? Just curious. Im a tire shine guy but the gravel driveways can be aggravating.
It’s worth it to people like you and I. Plus the tire shine makes all that grime come off easier when spraying it off. Sounds like you’re like me. Drives you nuts when something gets dirty. But it’s worth it to us to have it clean even if it’s just an hour before going in the landfill. I didn’t tire shine that day with the landfill though because it’s 10$ a can and I just figured I’d wait.
Ok, you guys aren't far from me . I see the N.Y. plates . Are you guys hauling off of rte 22 ? North of Brewster ? I see these heavy haulers, I'm guessing they are hauling rocks or sand . I have a clean license 27 yrs of driving framless and frame with flatbed and tanker experience . I'm about 45 min from Brewster N.Y. I live in Connecticut . If I'm incorrect, can you point me in the right direction ??? And I have off road ( Landfill ) exp as well .
Thank you. He’s around still. He’s been doing some flatbed work lately. Just Doug different loads so we haven’t been Truckin together too much last few months
Funny you say that. I often think that myself. I try to stop the “ok, so….” Stuff so I don’t sound like him LoL. He had some really good content. Love watching him.
Why everyone seem to edit it when they're driving on a 2 lane road come on man thats the best part where we can see ur skill on norrow roads etc plus we could listen to that sweet Jake break sound.is like every trucker edit out the 2 lane roads
Those contaminated.landfel hauls usally are the worst places to get in to that place looked like a man made hell good it wasnt raining backing up that goat trail check your tires for nails those places are bad for that good to see you back on the air have a great big ol day up around the big apple

Any job is actually good money. It all really depends on what type of trucking you’d like to do. You can make the best out of any driving career as long as you’re happy

@@Wgrippin I'm actually doing pretty good. Spent 6 weeks doing powe only pulls but Friday I'm picking up my new drop deck. lol. Thanks for the good luck.

Was up your way last week on the two wheeler, kept my eye out for ya but not luck. Some real nice riding up that way.
Some of the back roads are great in the bike around here.
I’m a local truck driver too. Been to that landfill many times. I work for a local trucking company in Troy. Hopefully I’ll see ya around.
That's gotta be real handy having that little door on the front of the trailer.
